To be honest, exploring the school sounded awesome but I was sure I could do it another time. Besides, I was hungry and all we had was fruit, not my ideal breakfast if you ask me...

I gathered some money and my school supplies and headed out the door, bidding farewell to my mum.
I quickly made my way to the café and admired how adorable it looked. It was warm and cosy from my first judgment which suited the place quite nicely.

I walked to the front of the cashier with my money in hand as I felt something rub against my leg.

Confused and slightly freaked out, I looked down to see a fluffy, fat cat. It was the most adorable thing I had ever seen! I looked down on its collar to read its name. "Hello... Mochi!" I smiled, scratching its ear.

I continued to play with Mochi in the corner of the café when I heard someone clear their throat. Both Mochi and I looked up to see a boy close to my age staring at us. Mochi seemed to have recognised him as he started pawing at the boy's pant legs.

"Mochi! Have you made a new friend? Go on off to sleep." The boy said. Mochi slowly waddled away and up some stairs at the boy's command.
"Sorry about Mochi... he can get a little... socially awkward at times." The boy apologised.

"Oh no! It was quite all right... is Mochi yours?" I asked, guessing the answer.

"My aunt's, she owns this café." He explained. I stood up and sat down at a nearby table. "I'm Hiro... what's your name?" Hiro asked.

"(y/n)." I replied simply.

"That's a pretty name." Hiro complimented. I blushed at his words.

"Why thank you." I beamed. Both Hiro and I talked for a little while longer, sharing common interests and hobbies with each other. We were quite surprised when we realised how similar we both were.

Eventually, we found out we both went to SFIT so we decided to walk there together. The walk was short but entertaining and I was happy to have met Hiro. It was just my luck.
