I am subjected to stereotypes.

It happens quite often. I like math, so I must be crazy. I don't see anything wrong with same-sex marriage, so there has to be something wrong with me. I enjoy school, so I must be strange. I am smart, so I must know everything. I speak my mind, so I must be disrespectful. I can lead others, so I must be bossy. I like writing, so I must be a nerd. I like anime, so I must be Japanese. I have dreams, so I must be optimistic. I think that fear is not only good, but a superpower, so I must not have experienced fear. I don't care about popular sports, so I must live under a rock. I read prefer reading books to talking with people, so I must be antisocial. I am young, so I must be naive. I want to be remember not for what I've done, but for the legacy I've left behind, so I must be selfless. I want to change the world for the better, so I must be delusional.

I make mistakes, so I am human.
