"Hi beautiful" I heard him saying. I turned around to find him staring at me. I was wearing white coloured simple sleeveless petticoat. 

He simply grinned at me. I looked at him inquiringly. However he asked me to follow him. He was leading me towards a deserted road inside the garden. Though I trusted him completely but his action was making me impatient. I tried to ask him why had he invited me there but he did not  say anything. So I decided to shut up my mouth and follow him.

Finally he stopped. And turned around. And I saw a beautiful object in front of me. It was a telescope. He looked at me and smiled and motioned me with his index finger to try it. I went ahead and peeped into it. It was already properly adjusted. He came behind me and started telling me about stars and constellations that I could see at that time of the night. It was like a dream. Sky was beautiful. Garden was mesmerisingly. Kevin hugged me from behind while I enjoyed seeing the sky via his telescope.

"Is it yours?" I asked referring to the telescope.

"Nope I borrowed it  from a friend." He shrugged casually.

I was watching the sky when suddenly he came in front of telescope and pushed me behind him. Then he adjusted the telescope. And he blushed and asked me to use the telescope. I peeped just to find that he had adjusted the telescope in such a way that I could see a statue. I looked at him inquiringly. Why on the Earth  should I observe a statue when I had such a beautiful sky to look at?

Still he just smiled. I looked and found something shiny in the hand of statue. It was a statue of a Cupid. I looked at him. He motioned me to go towards the statue. So I just went to the statue and reached to see what was it holding in its hands. I found a beautiful emerald ring:) I looked at Kevin and he was smiling.

Then it hit me. It was an engagement ring. It implied that he was proposing me! My expressions must have been priceless because he rushed to me and hugged me tightly.

"Marry me". That was enough. Nothing else. No fancy lines, no dramatic speech. Two simple words were enough to tie him to me for the rest of my life.

"Do I have any other option?" I joked. He touched his forehead with mine and hugged me. After some minutes, I reminded him that if my parents found me missing from my room, they might call the police. He chuckled and dropped me to my home.

It felt awkward. Why? Because I was sneaking  inside my own house like a thief. But I was determined to stop such hide and seek within few days. I wanted my relationship to be official. And I would ensure that such thing happens at a lightning fast speed.

My parents already liked Kevin. It was the time when they get me engaged to him.
