YOUR POV

"Here you go M'Lord." Sparklez has the guards shove us to our knees. The shadowed figure chuckles darkly. I sneer at him.
"Who are you, what do you want?!" I shout, yearning for answers. Max looks at me with wide eyes, going "Ssssssh!".
"Metal-Eater, Blue Jay, it's good to see you." He says, his shining white teeth showing with his smirk. Oh how I want to smack that grin off of his face.
"I don't think that would be a wise choice, Y/N." My eyes widen suddenly. He can read minds now?! What is wrong with this world?!
"To answer your question, there is plenty wrong with this world. So I plan to clean it up." The man tells us. Talk about tall, dark, and so not handsome.
"What do you want with us though?" Max asks him. The figure chuckles again.
"Don't worry Blue Jay, your secret won't be revealed just yet." Okay, that worries me dearly. "But I don't want you, I want her." This day just keeps getting better and better.
"What do you want with me?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. I am not turning into anyone's mistress anytime soon!
"You were going to steal the royal treasury, correct?" The man asks. Max seems unfazed, probably just thinking 'Really Y/N. Really.'
"Yeeeeeeaaaah . . . ?" I reply slowly. He nods, I think, and continues.
"I want you to do that for me." Was all he said. I scoff, spitting in front of him.
"I am not doing any dirty work for the likes of you!" I yell at him disrespectfully. He just laughs, louder than his normal chuckle this time.
"Oh really? We'll just have to see about that. Guards, bring her forth!" He calls out. The armored men walk away, their steps in unison, and head towards the torture chamber. Notch dammit, where do they get this stuff?
Minutes later, they. . . They came back with—with her. Shelby. And she looked absolutely horrible. Blood stains, cuts, bruises, scars, all over. Her clothing and paper crown were ripped in torn in various places, adding onto her dying look.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!" I practically scream at the guy. The urge to kill him only fuels me, but Shelby gives me a look saying 'It isn't worth it Y/N.'
"If you can't do what I ask," he tells me standing up from his throne, "The girl dies. Simple really." He flashes me a grin, opening up his . . . snow white eyes. Holy—!
He floats up from his throne, and lands several feet away from me and Max.
"Do I have time to consider?" I ask hopefully. Herobrine lets out a 'humph'.
"I don't see why not," he motions to Sparklez and the guards. "But for now," he now motions towards Shubs, "She stays in the chamber." The nerve!
"Fine." I grumble, glancing at Shelby with an apologetic look. She attempts to smile at me, but ends up wincing in pain as the other pair of guards haul us our separate ways. Max hasn't spoken since Herobine's comment about his royal secret. Once we were alone inside our prison cell, I spoke to him.
"H-hey Max? You alright?" I ask him, concerned. He holds out his chains.
"Do it." I stare at him, confused.
"You want to help her, don't you? Then do it!" Max whispers urgently. I begin eating at his chains, as awkward as it was. Once I finished, he began to work on untying my ropes. We were finally fully untied/unchained.
"Next step, get Sparklez." I say. It was his turn to be confused.
"But he betrayed you!" Max argues. I nod.
"I know, but he's still good. There must be some sort of explanation for this." I tell him, going towards the door. I call the guards, pretending something was going terribly wrong in here. Once they walked inside, we hit them full force on the head. Stealing the weapons they had, we set off for Sparklez.
"Halt!" We froze in our tracks, the halls down.
"I think you'll need a guide for this adventure." Sparklez laughs at us. My expression brightens, but Max stands slightly in front of me protectively.
"I'm sorry for what happened back there," he apologizes, moving his hand away from the hilt of his diamond axe. "I talked Herobine into having me capture you instead of killing you. And with Mithzan there, it would've been all to easy, and for the kingdom, heartbreaking."
"I understand, Sparks." I place a hand on his shoulder. Max grunts out a 'whatever' over his shoulder as we continued down the hallways and corridors.
