Blue starts the day by waking up. Then he dresses, putting on the scarf he was inspired to change his name with. He leaves the house, heading to Alphys for a mid-morning sparring session, in which Alphys picks up on Blue's negative aura, but Blue is unwilling to say a damn thing, knowing Alphys would just report it to Honey. After sparring, Blue hangs out with Undyne, watching anime. Undyne and Blue have a silent agreement. Undyne would tell Honey that everything went according to plan, which was true, and Blue would relax, not really tell what was wrong, but not look over his shoulder every ten seconds.

Blue then heads home, cooking terrible tacos, never improving, but getting better at pretending. Blue then heads to bed, listening to the living room. Ink shows up every night, and Honey celebrates Blue's 'progress' at becoming like he used to.

Another day would have Ink dragging Blue around the multiverses, expecting Blue to be happy with all the new creation. Blue, however, knows better. For every new universe created, Error must destroy one as well. Dream has started catching on to Blue's faking, but Ink still remains oblivious to the fact that Blue changed.

"Blue, if you...ever need to talk, me 'n' Color would understand." Blue looks up at Dream, pushing past him.

"No, you and Color don't understand. You'd never understand." Blue mumbles under his breath, walking to his room in the Star Sansi Base. Blue has always hated being one of the Star Sansi, but he has no way to fight without causing more problems for himself.

Blue gently rubs his blue scarf, closing his eyes.

"Error...I hope you've remained in control..." Blue lays down in the room at the Star Sansi headquarters, falling into a nightmare-filled sleep.

~Nightmarescape~

Nightmare walks around the destroyed area in this nightmare, trying to find who would have such a vividly negative nightmare.

"Error...come...back...please..." Nightmare turns to see the Underswap Sans, Blue, holding a dusting Error. Blue keeps sobbing, hugging the slowly dusting body of Error close to him. Nightmare walks over, waving his hand in front of Blue's face. Blue blinks, looking up at the goop monster, no fear in his face, only sad curiosity.

"You realize this is a nightmare, right? Not reality. Error is, last I knew, still very much alive." Blue tilts his head, the nightmare slowly dissipating.

"Really? That's great news." Blue's eyes widen as a familiar voice alerts both to a new presence.

"Coulda swore I felt a nightmare here..." Dream's light yellow eyelights widen slightly at the sight of Nightmare.

"What the hell? Blue, you talk to Nightmare?" Blue shakes his head.

"Never met Nightmare before this instance." Dream sighs.

"I knew you were keeping secrets, but Ink has to know about this." Blue's eyelights shrink in fear, his eyes circling up and glowing a dark blue, a massive blaster appearing above him.

"Sorry, Dream. Can't let you tell him." Dream looks at the blaster, a little hesitance appearing on his face.

"Blue, let's talk about this."

"You'd sell me to the devil. You think you know Ink, but you don't. Nobody does. Except for the people who are suffering because of him." Dream's pupils shrink.

"What do you mean he's the devil?"

"HE'S THE REASON ERROR IS A DESTROYER! Error has to maintain the balance of the multiverse, keep all of us ungrateful assholes alive. If Ink stopped creating new AUs, Error wouldn't be destroying! But you are brainwashed by Ink, and refuse to see reality!" Blue shouts this, tears streaming down his face. Dream drops the thing he was using to contact Ink, his eyelights shaking at the breakdown Blue is currently having.

"Error...is good...just...misunderstood...and nobody...tries to help him...you all just call him a monster...content to break his will...and kill us all...." Blue drops to his knees, sobs racking his body.

Nightmare awkwardly stands off to the side, the negative emotions from Blue not feeling nice to Nightmare. Nightmare studies Dream, who's looking at Nightmare, an unreadable expression on his face. Nightmare sighs, walking over to Blue.

"Calm down. Your mental state affects how this dreamworld holds up." Blue blinks, confusion covering his face.

"And you two have a lot to talk about, so I gotta skedaddle. It was fun watching you breakdown but-"

"You don't like the feeling I was feeling, did you?" Nightmare freezes, remaining quiet, before looking over his shoulder at Blue.

"Wake up." Nightmare vanishes.

*Reality*

Blue shoots up out of his bed, sweating. Dream rushes into the room, Blue and Dream's eyelights meeting. The room descends into silence, Dream slowly sitting beside Blue. The two both remain silent, thinking over the nightmare/dream they shared.

Ink walks into the room, raising a brow at Dream sitting beside Blue.

"Blue, come to my office. I have something I need to discuss with you." Blue stands up, walking out behind Ink. Dream folds his arms around his legs, and quietly sobs. Color walks into the room, sitting beside Dream.

"What happened?"

"I just doomed Blue to hell...and I can't save him." Color furrows his brow, confusion on his face. Color reaches his hand, trying to calm down Dream. Dream leans into Color, his sobs growing in intensity.

Blue stands in Ink's office, a cold chill in the pit of his stomach.

"So, you defend Nightmare and Error?" Blue remains silent, and Ink sighs.

"Blue...I've given you long enough. Make your choice. Are you with me, or them?" Blue looks up, primarily confusion on his face, fear hidden deep beneath the surface.

"W-what?"

"You heard me Blue. You either stand with me, and will fight Error and every other bad guy, or you're with the bad sansi. In that case, I can't let you remain free." Blue starts shaking slightly, his eyelights shrinking in fear.

"Ink?" Ink looks at Blue, his plain eyelights striking more fear in the smaller skeleton.

"Unless you repent advocating for the Destroyer, we have nothing more to be said." Ink stands up, a pair of handcuffs in his hands.

"After all, can't let the sheep wake up."
