-bell rings-
Wooo freedom is finally here! Today was my official last day of college, I'm finally graduating. I finally can have a life with no homework or drama mixed in with it.  I start walking home and I see a moving truck by our house, I walk in and see boxes. I run upstairs and see my mom in my room looking a pictures. "Mom...what's going on here?" I said but kinda yelled. "W-well your father got a promotion and we have to move. Also it's just about an hour away." My mom says calmly. "When are we leaving?" I question "3 days" she says putting pictures in a box. "How long have you known about us moving because there's no way you guys found out today and found a house and expect everything to be out in 3 days!" I say now getting impatient. "No y/n...we have known for about 2 months" she says realizing she should have told me before. "WHAT? And you haven't told me....mom this is where I grew up. We are just throwing all our memories away" I say "I know your going to miss your friends b-" she says but I cut her off "no mom...Im not sad about my friends I'm not 9, I'm going to miss the house that watched and helped me grow up." I say on the merge of crying. " honey I know but we can make new memories and it's a huge house." She says and then I realize that I can get my own home. "Are the houses pretty cheap?" I ask now interested. "Yes...?" She says confused. "Okay just asking!" I say and walk away now kinda happy.

~~~~transition to the day of the move~~~~

Today we are moving and honestly I'm pretty sad leaving the only house I have ever lived in, but I am 22 and I should probably start looking into my own house. I don't know what I'm going to do yet but I'm excited to see who my neighbors are. We get everything out of the house and into the moving truck and I stand in a empty house and look at the carpet and the walls that still have stains and drawings on it. My thoughts and memories are now all scattered and now I just think about random things that happened in this house, but soon get interrupted by my mom coming in and saying let's go. I get up and we walk out the door and I hesitate to close it but I do. We get in the truck and drive off, I start to get teary-eyed.

We stop by my aunts house so we can get our dog y/a/n, we get him, he was so excited to see us and drive off.
The hour drive felt like 5 hours but we finally get there. The house had 2 stories and it was a cream color and had a very pretty front and back yard. We started bringing everything in from the moving truck and I looked around.
When you walk in there's the kitchen on the left which was very nice and to the right there is the living room and close to it was a stair case and straight a head there was a hallway with a bathroom and a Laundry room and if you keep walking there is a sliding glass door leading to a big backyard. The house was very nice like I said probably 10 times now and I'm getting pretty excited now.

So this chapter is basically explaining how you got to the neighborhood and the next chapter she is finally gonna meet people. Hope you like 1st chapter!
