Kensi's pov

"WHAT!" I shout at the top of my voice to one of the unsuspecting Doctor.

"I'm sorry Miss Blye. We have orders from your boss to turn his life support off and try to wake him."

"Can I at least be here when you do?" I ask defeated, I can't argue with Hetty.

"Of course. If he wakes up I'm sure he would like to see someone he knows." The doctor tells me, forgetting that he may not remember anything. "Ok let's turn this off, now this and finally this."

Deeks steady pulse keeps going for 5 seconds then stops in a continuous beep. An everlasting beep.

"Time of death 16:43. I'm so sorry he would of woke up if he wanted to, he lost his fight."

The doctors leave and I break down. I'm crying on his motionless chest when I get a call from ops

"He...llo" I say through sobs

"Miss Blye, I'm so sorry but we need you here at ops."

"Fine." I say hanging up the phone on Hetty. I kiss his forehead gently as if not to wake him and walk out.

Beep. Beep. And the door shuts behind me. I heard that, didn't I? No, it's just my mind playing tricks on me. As much as I don't want to admit. He's gone.
