A week Later - Storm's POV

I walk to the Hargeon Docks with Cream next to me.

"Storm, its cold." Cream says to me.

"Is it?" I ask.

"Its snowing and your wearing a tank top with your vest and shorts and boots. Not even a scarf!" Cream barks at me and I laugh nervously as we wait for everyone to get here.

"Yeah? I was told it was gonna be warm." I say to her with a smile.

"Your impossible." Cream says to me as she hides her face with her paws.

"Yeah, sorry Cream." I say to her with a sweat drop and a nervous closed eyed smile and after a couple minutes everyone else gets here.

"Alright! LETS GET GOING!" Natsu yells and I cross my arms over my chest amused.

"Your not cold?" Lucy asks me.

"Define Cold." Cream mutters and I just smile nervously.

"Cream." I say to her and she just snorts and sits up.

We get on the boat and Natsu turns into the barf king.

I sit on the edge of the boat and a guy I've never seen before stands next to me.

I glance around to see everyone is on the other side of the boat.

"You use a memory altering magic don't you?" I ask him and he stares at me shocked.

"How did you know?" He asks me shocked.

"I have a thick skull, a lot of people have tried to control me before but their plans foiled quickly, I have never seen you before in my life." I say to him.

"Heh." He says as he leans on the side of the boat next to me.

"What are you doing in my guild anyways?" I ask him.

"Your guild?" He asks me. "Your a new member and you already consider yourself a part of everything?" He asks me.

I stay quiet as I look to the ocean. "I don't doubt that I'm new and I'm not part of this crowd, but neither are you." I say to him. "For as long as I've been a fighter, I've been fine with protecting my friends and comrads from the shadows, always have, always will, if you dare try shutting this guild of light down, I won't hesitate to kill you, Natsu and my old teammate Naruto, they're so similar, they both hold light in them that makes everyone believe in them, I had vowed to protect that light when I first joined team 7 when I was 12, I'm 17, that has been 5 years of determination and what not to protect what I believe in, this guild has light, I want to protect it, because this me, wouldn't exist without it." I say to him and his eyes harden at me as my eyes reflect lightning.

"Your eyes are reflecting a lightning storm." Mest says to me.

"So they do, it happens." I say to him as I stare at the ocean and I close my eyes for a moment, trying to get my eyes under control. "Jeez, getting my eyes under control is like trying to stop a crying baby who lost its favorite toy." I say as I open my eyes to their normal color with a few sparks in my eyes.

"Storm!" Wendy calls and I look over as she runs over trips, in a second, I'm next to her, stopping her from falling on her face.

"Your such a klutz Wendy." I say to her and she smiles nervously.

"Sorry, I didn't see what I was tripping on, I really am a klutz." Wendy says to me.

"Are you ok?" I ask her.

"Yeah, thanks to you I'm fine." Wendy says to me with a grin.

I smile in relief. "That's good." I say and I sit back on my heels. "So, why did you run over to me?" I ask her.

"Are you excited? You get to participate for the S-Class Exam as a canidate. Weren't you a high level ninja before you came to Fairy Tail?" Wendy asks me.

"Yeah, the highest level below Hokage, Jonin and I was an S-Rank Ninja in our Bingo book so I was constantly targeted." I say to her.

"No wonder you looked awful when we found you." Wendy says to me and I fall.

After a while it starts getting scorching hot for everyone but Juvia and me.

"Why aren't you affected Storm?" Juvia asks me.

"I'm used to either hot or cold temperatures, I did a lot of traveling to different countries for missions when I was a ninja, the Land of Iron is always freezing and the Land of Wind is always scorching. I used to head to the Hidden Sand Village in the Land of Wind, a lot, because of missions there, so the heat just doesn't affect me anymore, plus, I was always wearing long sleeves too, so, it just build my immunity up." I say and Juvia nods.

I start getting bored as everyone complains how hot they are, especially Cream.

I start pulling the shadows from around us and messing with them like puppets.

"Storm, you shouldn't waste your chakra like that." Cream says to me.

"That's what Magic Energy is for, beside, I'm bored and I forgot my books at home so I can't read." I say to her.

Gramps then starts talking and then gets to the trials. "If you pleaseplease direct your attention to the smoke, there is 9 paths, each of you will take one so don't dawdle and pick one." Gramps says to us.

I walk over to the side of the boat with Cream.

"Teams who make it passed in one piece make it to the second round." Gramps says to us and explains the routes then says go.

"Now Cream!" I call and we jump off the boat before an enchantment goes up. "Come on Cream." I say as we run across the water.

We keep ahead of Freed and Bickslow and we get to the island.

Me and cream run down route I and run down it.

"What if we get stuck fighting?" Cream asks me.

"Then we fight." I say to her and she nods.

"We should slow down to a walk, we know better than to rush right into a battle." Cream says to me.

"Yeah, good idea." I say to her and we slow to a walk and after a while we get out of the cave and I look around.

"You got lucky Storm, you got a serenity route like us." Levy says to me.

"Oh that's unfair! I wanted to fight Gajeel." I say and Cream and Levy sweat drop.

"Yeah, I would have enjoyed beating you to a pulp." Gajeel says to me.

I smile amused. "You think you can beat someone who was trained to be agile, quick and strong?" I ask him.

"Alright, enough you two." Cream says biting our hands.

"Ow." I say to her sulking as she releases me and I heal my hand.

"You can use healing magic?" Levy asks me.

"No, I use Healing Nin-Jutsu." I say to her.

After a little while Lucy and Cana get here and see us.

"Storm! Levy, you guys made it!" Lucy says to us with a grin.

I nod. "Seems so, but seriously though, I got stuck on a serenity route, I wanted to either fight Gajeel or Guildarts." I say and and Lucy sweat drops.

"You have enough confidence to want to go up against the strongest Wizard in Fairy Tail?" Cana asks me.

"Not really, I just thought it'd be fun, I was the strongest and smartest of my year and a strong Jonin, one of the Elite, my job was to protect Tsunade as her guard, and since he's the strongest S-Class Wizard." I say to her with a small shrug and after a while, one by one some teams get here. Every team but Juvia, Mest's and Freed's team make it back.

I sit on a rock as Gramps walks over to us.

"Alright, everyone seems to be here, here are the results, Cana and Lucy beat Freed and Bickslow, Natsu and Happy fought Guildarts, Levy and Gajeel chose the Serenity Route, well are you lucky." Gramps says to them.

Levy giggles while holding up a peace sign.

"Yeah, well I think its sucky." Gajeel says annoyed.

"Storm and Cream got the other Serenity route, good job girls." Gramps says us and I snort.

"I wanted to fight!" I say to him pouting.

"Oh give it a rest, I'll tell Lady that your pouting during an exam, she'll surely scold you." Cream says to me.

"Please don't." I say to her.

"Gray and Loki beat Mest and Wendy." Gramps says to us.

"Juvia didn't even make it through the first round?" Gray asks and Gramps groans. "What's with the scary face?" Gray asks him.

"Unfortunately Juvia and Lissanna were not lucky, they got the route with she who knows no mercy!" Gramps yells.

"Oh." Gray says to him. "That sucks." Gray says to us.

"Elfman and Evergreen aren't here, what do you think happened?" Lucy asks Cana.

"Well by process of elimination, the route they took lead them to." Cana trails off.

"Mirajane." The two say a bit frightened.

"I feel bad for those two." Levy says to us.

"I could take here, but those two had no chance." Gajeel says with a smirk.

"Don't count us out yet. Didn't think we could beat my big sis did ya?" Elfman asks us.

"How did you beat Mira?" Happy asks shocked and the two freeze.

"A real man never reveals his fights." Elfman says to us.

"Let's just say we took full advantage of taking her off guard." Evergreen says to us.

Gramps congradulates us.

"Cana! Gray! Levy! Elfman! Storm! Only one of us is gonna become a S-Class Wizard and that's me!" Natsu claims and I laugh amused.

And I don't doubt you will one day.

I smile. "Good luck beating me, I've had five years of deadly fighting experience, you can't beat me unless you want your head on a silver platter." I say to him.

Gramps tells us we have to find the first masters grave and I sweat drop.

"Cream, are you able to smell the way to the grave?" I ask her.

"No, there's too many new scents." Cream says to me.

"Well then, he never said I couldn't use my Nin-Jutsu." I say as my Wolf Sage mode appears. I create about 100 shadow clones and they start going off in different directions.

"That's cheating!" Gray yells at me and I smirk.

"He never said anything about my Nin-Jutsu." I say as I stand up.

I sniff the air and so does Cream and we follow Gramps' scent but we get thrown off course by a monster and we run.

"Cream, I don't remember this being part of the Chunin Exams." I say to her.

"Its like the forest of death, remember?" Cream asks me.

"True, but this isn't a giant centipede or snake." I say to and she jumps down the hill while I slide down on my heels.

"Why don't you take care of it with you Wolf Sage Tai-Jutsu?" Cream asks me.

"I would, but, I have another plan in mind." I say to her.

"Oh yeah? What is it?" Cream asks me.

"There's a cliff ahead right?" I ask and Cream nods. "Good." I say and once me and once we get to the cliff, I drop to the ground and the monster runs right off. "There." I say to her and we continue back on track when my shadow clones disappear. "Its not anywhere my clones checked." I say as I stumble and I fall but Cream catches me with her back.

"You forgot, that method hits you with information too fast your brain to handle, it gives you fatigue, you should rest a moment." Cream says to me.

"I'll be fine, I just need on my feet again." I say to her.

"Your as stubborn as Naruto." Cream says to me.

"Yeah, I guess his stupidity did rub off on me slightly." I say and she helps me to my feet and I stumble slightly as I hold my head over my right eye and Cream keeps me up.

"Careful." Cream says to me.

"I am." I say and I gather my bearings after a minute and we continue running. After a while, I get attacked by some goon people and I deadpan.

"Go ahead." Cream says sitting down and I call the shadows around us and they choke the guys and we continue running.

After another long while, Gravity suddenly comes down on us.

"Cream, go back, now." I say and she nods and disappears in a poof.

I get up and scowl at the guy and he stares at me shocked.

"Gravity, you think you can pin me to the ground with it?" I ask him with a smirk.

"What is your name?" He asks me.

"Its common courtesy to say your name when asking others." I say to him.

"Bluenote." He says to me.

"Storm Nara." I say to him and his aura goes off in a big blast and my eyes flare up into lighting and it starts raining even heavier. "Stormy Eyes, control the storm! Make it thunder!" I boom and lighting and thunder go off everywhere around us.

"Impressive." Bluenote says to me.

I glare at him. "Your on sacred ground buddy." I say as my aura flares up around me rocks start to come up from the ground as it gets really windy and the rain parts over me as my aura gets ten times more heavy as does his.

"Your strong for a girl." Bluenote says to me.

"Thank you." I say to him.

We attack each other in flurries of punches and kicks as Lucy, Natsu, Happy, Wendy, Carla and Gramps gets here.

"She's, this, strong?" Carla asks shocked as she see's the flying rocks.

"Storm!" Natsu yells as the guy appears behind me and I duck as he punches, and I grab his arm and flip him into the ground and I do multiple hand signs.

"Earth Style: Mud Bombs!" I yell and the mud starts exploding around Bluenote. "Your messing with the wrong person." I say as a shadow casts over my eyes. "I'm living Karma, for years I've paid every rouge, bad guy and whoever did wrong, back, it didn't matter what was going on, if I had a mission to destroy them or take them into custody, I would, with out hesitation, my duty as a Shinobi depended on the safety of my village, now, your here, you and your friends hurt my comrades, my friends, and you've come before me? Your asking, for your own death wish." I say standing up straight and my killing intent comes off in waves as a deadly look appears in my eyes.

"She's, not in the best mood." Lucy says sweat dropping nervously.

"We need to get out of here." Happy says to the others.

I do a few hand signs and I bite my thumb drawing blood and I slam my hand on the ground. "Summoning Jutsu!" I yell and Chief Wolf appears next to me, considerably tall.

"EH?" Wendy and Lucy yell shocked.

"Your in Karma mode again." Chief Wolf says getting into a defensive stance.

"We aren't to take our opponent lightly, he's got Akatsuki level in skill." I say to her and she nods.

"Right." Chief Wolf says to me.

Me and Bluenote fight with Chief Wolf on support and I aim big jutsu at him, over and over again and I start to get worn out after a while.

I slide back next Chief Wolf, trying to fight his gravity. "Karma, you need a rest, let Storm back." Chief Wolf says to me.

I breath heavy as I stand there. "She's weak right now." I say and Chief Wolf frowns. "We've been attacked relentlessly and we're beaten, if I go back to being dormant, her reaction time will be much slower." I say to her.

"Yeah, your right." Chief Wolf says to me and Cana gets here and attempts to use a huge Magic Spell, but fails and I block an attack coming for her. She stares at me shocked.

"Storm." Cana says to me.

I wobble slightly, but I stand up straight. "Thanks Cana, for the distraction." I say and she nods.

I punch Bluenote across the face and he spins into the wall of stone he made.

"Karma, take it easy." Chief Wolf says to me.

"How the hell am I supposed to do that, she'll just get hurt badly if I go dormant again." I say and Bluenote gets up and Guildarts appears in front of me.

"Relax kid, I got this." He says to me.

I stare at him for a moment before I nod and my eyes go back to normal and I nearly fall, but Cana catches me.

"Easy, your hurt." Cana says to me.

"I'll be fine. Chief Wolf, you can go back now." I say as I rest on one knee.

"See you again Storm and Karma." Chief Wolf says to me and disappears in a poof.

"You guys get out of here." Guildarts says to us all and we nod and Canada helps me up and we all head back to base camp and I slide down a tree.
