The Next Day - Storm's POV

"Gramps, we have someone who is gonna be a new member!" Natsu says kicking the door open to the guild and I follow him with a sweat drop and Lucy is next to me.

"Who?" Everyone asks and I raise my hand.

"That'd be me." I say and everyone looks at me shocked. "What? Have a problem?" I ask them.

"We just didn't expect you to join." Gray says to me and I snort as I put my hands in my coat pockets.

"I'm just full of surprises aren't I? Also, where are your clothes?" I ask him.

"I took them off." Gray says to me and I raise an eyebrow.

"Whatever." I say and Lucy takes me over to Makorov.

"Well Gramps?" Lucy asks him.

"Is she willingly agreeing to this?" He asks her and she nods. "Come child, I want to talk to you." He says as he gets off the counter and I follow him to his office on the second floor. "Tell me, why are you joining Fairy Tail?" Makorov asks me.

I stare at him for one long moment before I sigh as he sits on his desk. "Why? I seem to get asked that question a lot." I say to him. "You said Fairy Tail is a guild for people to go who have no friends or family, does that count if they live in another dimension and they don't remember the friend or family they once had?" I ask him and he stares at me surprised. "Not a single butterfly, not one has landed on my finger or even passed me, back in my village, butterflies would always land on my finger or my nose, there was one butterfly, its a symbol of mine that always let's me know I'm not forgotten, it disappeared while flying away, memories, I felt them fade away, all the ones of me." I say and he looks at me with pity.

"Your reason for joining then?" Makorov asks me.

"I have no rhyme or reason as to why I do things, I'm as chaotic as a Storm, hence my name and my eyes." I say to him.

"I see child." He says to me.

"I like your guild, a lot, I feel like I could learn how to be not so uptight here, but, I probably wouldn't do much good here since I don't have magic, I'm quiet, rude, sarcastic, and elusive, I blend in too much and above all, I have a temper, a bad one and its easy for me to get mad at things I find annoying." I say and he chuckles.

"Blend in? That's impossible." Makorov says to me.

I raise an eyebrow. "And why is that?" I ask him.

"Because everyone here is different, you couldn't blend in even if you tried." Makorov says to me with a smile.

"Different, that's a new word, I'm not used to change in people." I say and he chuckles amused. "Then again, there was Sai." I say and I look at Makorov. "As my brother would say, what a drag." I say and Makorov chuckles.

"So, the Nara part of your name?" Makorov asks me.

"Its a clan back where I lived, my father was a Nara, the Nara are famous for having skills to create medicine, they're also known for their smarts and their signature Jutsu the Shadow Possession Jutsu, the Shadow Possession Jutsu captures an enemy for the duration of 5 minutes, allowing the rest of your team to defeat the enemy." I say and Makorov nods with a frown.

"And your mother?" Makorov asks me.

"She was a Senju, she had a temper like her Grandma who was an Uzumaki, the Uzumaki are know for their red hair and their monster temper, the Senju are brave, strong, kind and the ones who founded my village. They make great leaders and was a battle clan back in the warring era, they were most known for always battling the Uchiha, the rival clan who are most known for being vengeful, and their eyes have a special power, they can make illusions that are hard to get out of, and there's only one Uchiha left and I had to get placed on his team, his name is Sasuke, and he had all the girls after him except one, me, I couldn't give a rats ass about him in the academy." I say and Makorov chuckles.

"Academy?" Makorov asks me.

"Its where kids ages 5 to 12 go to learn how to be a ninja, they learn basic battle tactics, basic hand to hand combat, basic Jutsu, basic weapon combat, when a kid becomes a ninja, they say goodbye to a peaceful life and enter a place that's deadly, horrifying and unkind, sadly, that's the life of a ninja." I say and Makorov nods. "But with people like me, my teacher and my friends, kids have hope, hope that someday the ninja world will have peace, even only for a while." I say to him. "Hope, that's what keeps us going in that world, and if we don't have hope, we still fight, its our Will of Fire in the Leaf Village, we wouldn't sell out a comrade and we wouldn't let our village be taken down, there's pride in our village, and even a pessimist like me, we would still rather die than let our village go down." I say and Makorov nods and smiles.

"You have loyalty, spirit, kindness, strength, and you seem to be calm." Makorov says to me.

I raise an eyebrow at this. "Calm, no, just lazy, though I do tend to have a crazy side every once in a while, that's just if I haven't taken my anger out on something in too long, or if I've caped my anger for too long, you'll know when I'm pissed, my will eyes glow like lightning." I say and Makorov nods.

"Well, come with me and we'll get your guild mark." Makorov says to me and watch him confused as I follow him down stairs to the counter where Mira is at. "Well then, Mira, get the stamp, we have a new member." Makorov says to her and she smiles and gets something.

"What color Storm?" Mira asks me.

"Uh, color? Royal blue?" I ask confused.

"Now where would you like it?" Mira asks me.

"Uh, how about my left shoulder?" I ask confused and she smiles.

"Take your coat off then." Mira says to me and I nod and I slip my coat off to reveal a dark blue long sleeve.

"Why do you wear such warm clothing?" Wendy asks me confused.

I slip my long sleeve off to reveal my fishnet short sleeve guard and I raise my sleeve up while the guys stare at me with blushes.

"Uh, shouldn't you cover up a bit more?" Wendy asks me nervously.

"Eh? Cover up?" I ask her.

"You know, there's this thing called modesty." Lucy says to me.

"Modesty. Uh, I seem to recall the word, but, I don't use it." I say to her.

"There we go." Mira says to me and I look at it.

"Its a Fairy." I say and Mira smiles.

"You already know." Mira says to me and I look up at her confused as I put my coat on, leaving my long sleeve off.

"Alright, time to start shopping." Lucy says grinning.

"Eh? She should work a job first." Natsu says to her.

I deadpan. "What a pain." I say once Gray and Natsu start fighting and I ignore them as I sit down at an empty table and Gajeel sits in front of me and stares at me as I spin one of my kunai on the back of my thumb. "You need something?" I ask him.

"Storm, you seem good with weapons, I challenge you to a duel." Erza says to me.

"Is she going to accept the duel?" Lucy asks nervously.

"She would be stupid if she did." Gray says to her.

"Then I guess I'm stupid Gray." I say and Erza smirks as I stand up.

"Good." Erza says and drags me outside and tosses me one of her swords and I look at it confused.

"I have my own weapons." I say to her and she smirks.

"Just use it." Erza says to me and I toss it back to her and I pull out two kunai.

"No, I'm more comfortable with my kunai." I say and she nods and we start a duel as the guild watches us.

"She's able to keep up with Erza, that's amazing." Lucy says to the others and they nod in agreement.

I block Erza's blade. "So, this is a no injury duel right?" I ask her and Erza nods.

"Yes." Erza says to me.

"Alright, that rules out almost every single weapon tactic I know." I say and Erza laughs.

"You'll lose then." Erza says to me.

"Not exactly, I'm efficient in capturing people, without harming them, some of the time, really depends who I have to capture." I say and Erza nods.

I manage to pin her to the ground with my kunai to her throat.

"You are quite commendable with those knives, you'll have to teach me how to use them." Erza says to me as I get up.

"The only reason I'm commendable, is because I was taught to fight with the intent to kill, where I lived, the rules were simple, kill, or be killed, not a fun place unless you have the right team." I say and Erza nods.

"Well, we'll have to fight for real sometime." Erza says to me with a smile.

"Yes, I look forward to it." I say to her with a closed eyed smile.

We all head back inside the guild hall and I sit down in front of Happy and I stare at him.

"Why are you blue?" I ask him.

"I don't know." Happy says to me and I stare at him.

"Jeez, she's such an idiot." Gray says with a sweat drop and I smirk.

Gajeel sits in front of me and we have a staring contest while as I'm just getting bored and he's getting ticked off.

"Did you want something?" I ask him.

"Yeah, your so aloof, I can't figure you out." Gajeel says to me.

"Aloof." I say and I blink.

"Does she even know what that word means?" Gray asks and Lucy sweat drops as I stand up.

"Yeah, I know what aloof means. It means not friendly or unkind, that or cool and distant." I say to him.

"She gave the literal definition!" Half the people say shocked.

"Uh huh, anyways, Lucy, you wanted to go shopping, right?" I ask her.

"Can we?" Lucy asks with bright eyes.

"I really don't see why we can't." I say to her and and grins and take my arm and starts hauling me away.

After the whole shopping fiasco, I end up wearing a dark blue tank top with black short short jean shorts, black combat boots.

"Eh, I still feel comfortable with my fishnet guard on." I say to her.

"No, no more guards." Lucy says to me.

"Jeez, those guards protected my life over a dozen times." I say to her.

"Too bad." Lucy says to me.

I take my Jonin vest from her and I slip it on, leaving it open. "Well I'm wearing this, it has some very important things in it." I say to her.

"Like what?" Lucy asks me and I pull out a picture of me and Shikamaru and I show it to her. "Is he your boyfriend?" Lucy asks me.

"No, he's my brother, this is Shikamaru Nara." I say to her and she nods and I put the picture back in my vest. "This vest was given to me by my Aunt Tsunade, I don't plan on leaving it behind any time soon either." I say to her and we get back to the guild.

"Alright! Time for Storm's first job!" Natsu says way to excited.

"Huh?" Lucy says to him.

Mira shows me the request board and I look at it for a moment before I see one to hunt some monsters and I pick that one.

"Oh dear, a strong one to start out with?" Mira asks worried.

"Strong one?" I ask her.

"She's still not accustomed to our ways, but you should let her go, she comes from a battle clan and a smart clan." Makorov says to her.

"Seriously?" Everyone asks shocked.

"What? Don't I look like a fighter to you? Jeez, you guys underestimate kunoichi, well, I'll show you all I can do it, by, my, self." I say and their jaws drop. "With out a scratch, or even a speck of dust, you know what, I'll bet it." I say and Makorov smirks.

"How much?" Makorov asks.

"The 800,000 jewel reward, every cent, and if you lose, you'll have to lay me that much as well." I say to him.

"Its a deal." Makorov says to me.

I walk out of the guild and I call a shadow and it goes and finds the place for me and I head there.

I look at the monster and it looks like an over grown monkey and 16 others surround me.

"Huh, well, they didn't tell me numbers." I say and I constantly dodge their attacks as I do hand signs. Once I get to a good position on a ledge I keel down. "Shadow Strangle Jutsu." I say as 17 shadows shoot out and start strangling the monsters. "Thank you Shikamaru, for teaching me this Jutsu." I say and the 10 of the monsters escape while the last 7 fall unconscious. The ones who escaped come after me and I jump off the ledge.

I punch one of them and he flies into the others and they roll on the ground.

I jump up into the air as five of them come after me and I do a few hand signs. "Shadow Style: Shadow Carpet Jutsu." I say and I bind the five with my shadow and they grunt as they fall unconscious. "Where are the last five." I say and I feel the air move around me and I do the substatution Juts as I get hit into the ground. I appear in the shadows and I dodge the monsters over and over again. "Ok, your getting on my last nerve, oh well, this was fun, but I have to finish this." I say and I do a few hand signs. "Wind and Water Style Bullet Jutsu." I say and I blow out water and air and they circle each other and hit the monsters, knocking them unconscious them and I stand there staring at the Monsters. "What a pain, you actually made me waste chakra." I say to them as they wake up. "Now, get the hell out of here and don't come back." I say and they nod quickly and run off.

I head back to the guild with out a scratch or a spec of dust and everyone stares at me shocked as their jaws drop. I give them a closed eyed smile. "I win." I say and Makorov inspects me and not even one hair is out of place and he cries as he hands over the money. "Paid twice, awesome." I say and Lucy grabs me.

"Time to go place shopping for you." Lucy says to me.

"Eh? Oh right." I say as she starts pulling me and a girl with short blue hair comes with us.

"Storm, this is Levy, Levy, Storm." Lucy introduces us.

"Nice to meet you." Levy says to me with a smile.

"Its a pleasure." I say with a nod.

"So, your able to fight monsters without getting a scratch?" Levy asks me.

"They aren't much different than Ninja, both are dumb." I say to her and she smiles and we go all our Magnolia with Lucy trying to find me an apartment while Levy helps her.

"None of them feel right." I say as we get another apartment building and we go to an apartment on the second floor and I walk in. I walk around it for a bit before I nod.

"She likes it." Lucy and Levy say with a relieved smile.

The Landlady looks at me and I look at her. "So." She says to me.

I fill out the forms for the apartment and I pay first months rent which is about 80,000 Jewel.

"Alright, now what?" Levy asks us.

"Now, I get whatever the heck I need for this place, groceries, cutlery, plates, cups, etc." I say to her with a shrug.

"I really don't understand why you wear that vest." Natsu says sitting in my apartment.

"And I don't understand why you wear that scarf." I say to him.

"Igneel gave this to me!" Nates says getting up and walking over to me with a small scowl that I match with my own.

"And Tsunade gave this to me." I say to him as I cross my arms over my chest.

"Who's Tsunade?" Levy asks me.

"My aunt on my mother's side." I say to her and she nods. "And who's Igneel?" I ask.

"My dragon dad." Natsu says to me.

"Well then, that explains your breath." I say to him.

"What? My breath smells just fine!" Natsu says getting frustrated with me.

"Yeah, sure, I'm starting to go nose blind." I say to him.
