Storm's POV

A while later Natsu comes back in and looks at me and I know what he wants to do.

I smile slightly at this and I get up with Lucifer in my arms and I walk out of the room and I close the door quietly.

I walk down the hall and I get a snack.

"Storm?" Max asks and I look over.

"Hey Max, what are you doing?" I ask him.

"I just came to get a snack, I thought you were watching over Lucy, so what are you doing?" Max asks me.

"Natsu wanted to talk with Lucy and I needed something to eat anyways." I say and Max nods.

"With a wolf pup?" Max asks me.

"This pup is a troublemaker for Cream, his name is Lucifer." I say and Max nods while Lucifer just sleeps.

I head back to the room as Natsu walks out and he looks at me with a wide grin and I give him a closed eyed smile.

"Good luck out there Natsu." I say to him and he nods and I head back inside and I see Lucy is sitting up. I sit down in my seat again with a smile. "How are you feeling?" I ask her.

"Better." She says with a soft smile.

I nod as I lean back in my chair. "That's good." I say and I pet Lucifer and I close my eyes. "Alright, now its Natsu and Gajeels turn." I say and Lucy hums.

We listen to the fight and the place shakes with Magic Power.

I start getting tired, but I mentally shake it off and I watch the fight through a shadow.

"Storm, did you get any sleep last night?" Evergreen asks me.

"No, when I get an uncomfortable feeling about the near future, I don't sleep and I'm basically like a watch dog, ready to fight at any possible moment." I say and she whacks me with her fan.

"Nothing is going to happen." Evergreen snaps.

"Sure." I say and Lucifer bites my finger, not that I really care, he won't chomp my finger off.

The tension stops all of a sudden along with the cheering, Porlyusica talks to everyone while I watch what's going on.

"Storm?" Lucy asks me.

I smile slightly. "Everything's fine, Natsu will win." I say and she hums in agreement.

We wait and once everything is settled everyone cheers loudly while Lucy and everyone else including me, in here, are holding their pointer fingers up.

We wait and after a while Natsu comes in, with injuries and tattered clothes of course, but he's grinning.

Lucy smiles at him as I get up and Lucifer trails after me.

"Alright, time to go get dinner, you guys can do whatever now." I say as I pick Lucifer up in my arms as I walk to the door.

"Thanks Storm." Lucy says to me and I smile slightly as I head out the door.

Huh, a simple thanks, I haven't heard that ever.

I head to a diner, sending Luci back home and I walk in with my hands in my pockets, I see Rouge there, beat up of course, with Frosh.

I sit at the bar and I order a burger and fries, I know, not what most women would choose with guys around, wait, it isn't, huh, well, I'm different, I couldn't care less what people think of what I eat.

"Here you go miss." The bartender says to me.

"Thanks for the food." I say and he nods with a smile.

"Frosh says hi." Frosh says jumping on my lap.

I look at Frosh confused while I hear Rouge curse under his breath.

"Frosh, I don't think-"

"Storm says hi to Frosh." I say and Rouge falls Frosh grins at me.

"Why the third person?" Rouge asks me.

I point my fry at him. "You, shush, I am enjoying myself right now, no questions." I say to him and Frosh giggles and I look at Frosh curious.

"Frosh thinks Storm is funny." Frosh says to us.

"Funny?" I ask confused. "That term doesn't apply to me you know, scary is usually a better term, at least, that's what I think after hearing it so much, so why do you think different?" I ask confused.

"Storm, can I ask you one question?" Rouge asks sitting next to me.

"I thought I said no questions. But, seeing as your persistent and you won't let it go, fine, one question." I say to him and I put a few fries in my mouth and that's when I realize, they're way over salted and get that feeling in my mouth when you eat too much salt at once. "Bartender, can I have a glass of water?" I ask.

"Sure." He says and gets it for me and I sniff it before I take a drink.

"Why are you eating a burger and fries? I thought girls only eat salads." Rouge asks me as he takes Frosh into his lap.

"Ha! Girls only eat salads? Try most of them starve themselves to lose weight and be a twig for whoever they like, personally, I can't get fat, I move around too much, no matter what I eat, I'm either running, jumping, training, so, I can eat whatever I want." I say to him and Rouge nods.

"Can I ask you another question?" He asks me.

I groan slightly. "Your as curious as a cat, and that's what gets a cat killed, but, fine." I say and Rouge nods.

"Why weren't you watching the fights earlier?" Rouge asks me.

"I was with Lucy and Elfman, Evergreen and Porlyusica were busy with Elfman, so I was watching over Lucy so her injuries wouldn't get worse." I say and Rouge looks at me shocked. "Its better to watch over a friend when they're injured, than watch the enemy, my Sensei told me something one time, 'Those who abandon the rules are scum, but, those who abandon their friends, are worse than scum.' My Sensei learned this lesson with his teammates. So he taught it to us, and I taught it to my students." I say to him with a small shrug as I finish eating my fries and I sniff my water and I smell it to be spiked.

My eye twitches slightly.

"What?" Rouge asks.

"Spiked, why am I not surprised?" I ask and Rouge looks at me shocked as I drink it anyways.

"Seriously?" He asks me.

"My aunt is a heavy drinker, so I expect this, a lot, and I've built up an immune to spiked drinks." I say and I see double for a moment, but it disappears as I eat my burger.

"What was your aunt like?" Rouge asks me.

I sweat drop as an image appears of her breathing fire with a very annoyed temper.

"She was a good aunt, some of the time, part of the time, maybe once or twice a week if I didn't piss her off, she loves Sake and Gambling, but despite it all, she was a good Hokage and she was a good person, even if she had a short temper like mine, possibly even shorter, if she could breath fire like Natsu, I'd probably be dead with all our fights about my failed missions, she changed my personality to I don't care, to I don't give a shit about the world and it can burn for all I care." I say and he chuckles. "She taught me Medical Nin-Jutsu, strong Medical Nin-Jutsu, the purple diamond on my forehead is a seal, I have chakra stored in a small space behind it, if I unseal it, all my injuries heal and I get a boost of strength. She taught me this jutsu, sort of, I wasn't aloud to sleep until I mastered it." I say to him with a small amused smile as I finish my drink.

"What was your old home like?" He asks me.

I frown slightly. "It was either life or death half the time, but the Leaf was Warm and Kind, like Fairy Tail, the third hokage was like a Grandpa to me, so I often called him Gramps, like I do to the master of Fairy Tail. My brother, was a lazy ass person, he was smart, incredibly smart, had an IQ of over 200, my parents, eh, Mom was terrifying, constantly giving me and Shikamaru lectures along with Dad, it, was a pain, I just tended to ignore them half the time because that's all they spoke of." I say as I pay my bill. "Well, I'm heading out." I say and Rouge nods and I head out with my hands in my pockets.

I summon Jasper and we walk down the street.

"Storm, let's play." He says giddy as he trots next to me.

I smile amused. "Fine." I say and chase him down the streets back to the hotel and he poofs away. "That's cheating!" I say and I teleport to him and he jumps and I chase him around Mt. Okami.

"Storm, what are you doing?" Lily asks me amused.

I pounce at Jasper and he swerves out if the way and I land on my stomach, sliding forward and I manage a flip and I land on my feet and I continue running.

"You can't catch me!" Jasper taunts.

"I'm gonna get you!" I say to him as we run through the forest and he dodges a tree and I punch it out of my way.

"That's cheating!" Jasper yells at me.

"Yeah, well its cheating to come here in the first place, so we're even." I say to him and he nods as he jumps down a hill and I slide down my hill on my heels, following him.

I catch him after hours of running and we lay on the ground panting.

"You two are ridiculous." Lily says to us.

"Sorry." We say and I roll over onto my stomach and I push myself up.

"I have to go now." I say to them and Lily nods.

I teleport back to the Hotel Room and that scares the living shit out of everyone in here.

"STORM!" The girls yell at me and I sense danger.

"Shit." I say and I jump away from them as they hit where I was with pillows. "Sorry, Sorry, jeez, you guys are jumpy." I say to them with a sweat drop and Laxus's eye twitches as he picks me up from behind like I'm a kid. "Shit." I say and he nods with a smirk.

"Where were you?" He asks me annoyed.

"That's for me to know, and you guys not to know." I say and he raises an unamused eyebrow. "And, now, for the finale, of home I single handedly take down Laxus." I say and I flip him into the ground and he groans while everyone else looks at me shocked. "Jeez, what a pain." I say as I scratch the back of my neck at the dent in the floor under Laxus. "Oh well." I say and I head out onto the balcony, making sure to lock the door from the outside.

I sit on my perch again, looking out at the city.

I frown as I think about my perch above the Hidden Lead on the Hokage Mountains. I close my eyes, picturing the view in my mind and I smile slightly, the village in the setting sun light, villagers walking around, talking to each other, some heading home to make dinner, kids running down the streets playing, some arguing, others walking with their parents. The Hokage Mansion, standing tall with Tsunade in the window looking at the faces where I'm at with TonTon in her arms, Shizune next to her, my team walking down the road along with Team 7, Sasuke is with them. Naruto is grinning with a warm feeling being admitted from him, Sakura has her arm linked with Sasuke's and Naruto's with Sensei walking behind them as they walk towards my perch, Sasuke is smiling, Sakura is grinning her brightest and Kakashi is reading his perverted book with a blush. Shikamaru is walking with Ino and Choji to Barbeque, Lee, TenTen and Guy are heading to Ichiraku's with TenTen pushing Guy's Wheelchair, Hinata, Shino, Kiba, Akamaru, Kurenai and Mirai are walking together with Mirai on Akamaru's back, grinning while Kiba is sweat dropping and Hinata is giggling, Shino as usual, is emotionless, Kurenai is smiling warmly next to them. Mom and the other Moms of the crew are all talking about something while laughing and getting angry. I smile softly as I open my eyes, my homesick feeling growing, but I push it aside.

"What are you thinking about?" Cana asks me and hiccups.

I nearly jump surprised since I didn't sense her coming. "Of all things holy, Cana, don't scare me like that." I say to her and she laughs nervously as she rest her arms on the bar that I'm sitting on.

"Seriously though, what were you thinking about?" Cana asks me.

"My old perch in the Hidden Leaf, I had the best view of the village, I could see everything." I say to her and she nods.

"You must feel homesick." Cana says to me.

"A little, but this is my home now, sure, it sucks that I was forced out of that world and into this one, but you guys are a whole lot nicer, back in the Leaf, I had a horrible attitude because people always treated me poorly, in my opinion, what goes around comes around, ten times fold, and because of that, no one really liked me, I was treated horribly because I was, different, I wasn't like everyone else, my eye color was different, my entire being was different, and if you think of people like a flock of birds, they attack the one that stands out from the rest, when I was a kid, being smart and sarcastic and rude and tsundere, wasn't popular for girls, I mocked the Fan-Girls because at the time, they were popular and I despised them, I was irked at the thought of being like them, so not liking Sasuke, got me into more trouble than I was already in." I say to her and Cana nods.

"You didn't want to be ordinary." Cana says to me and I nod.

"I don't think being ordinary is fun." I say to her and she smirks.

"Well you came to the right guild, no one is ordinary here." Cana says to me and I nod with a smile.

"I love it here in Fairy Tail, there's an Aura about it, that, makes me never want to leave." I say and she nods.

"That's because all of us are like a Family here, no one likes to leave family after all." Cana says to me and I smile as I look at the stars.

"Yeah, Family, you know, me and my brother would lay on a hill all day if we could, watching the clouds, and after dinner, we'd sit on the deck looking at the stars, but that was when we were still Genin and Academy Students, after he became Chunin and I became Jonin, we hardly had anytime at home, I'd be lucky if I got a few hours of sleep before I was kicked out of my bed." I say with a small laugh and Cana nods.

"Well you can enjoy yourself like the rest of us, you won't have to worry about being called on missions every day, and your magic power will increase the more you use your magic. Since you can manipulate shadows with your shadow magic, try making your shadows do things around your apartment." Cana says to me and I nod.

"Yeah, thanks Cana, that piece of information might actually help, sometimes I'm too lazy to get out of bed." I say to her and she nods. "And, thanks for letting me talk, I don't normally talk about that stuff, actually I've never talked about stuff like that before, but, I feel better, at least a little." I say and she smirks at me.

"Of course, that's what a sister is for right?" She asks me with one eye closed.

"Thanks Cana." I say and she nods and heads back inside while I stay on my perch for the rest of the night.
