Happy New Year's Eve, everyone or Happy New Year if it is already 2014 where you are!!! The next chapter of this story will be up on Friday. I need you guys opinion on something. I'm thinking about another story like this one with the Outsiders and something supernatural, but instead of the main character being a werewolf she's half mermaid half human. What do you think? ~Cleo’s P.O.V.~

Ponyboy and I walked out the door to head to the gas station. I had grabbed my phone to text Summer and have her meet me at the station. “Hey Ponyboy what is the name of gas station your brother works at?” I asked looking at my phone and beginning to type. “The DX, you can call me Pony instead of Ponyboy, ya know.” He said looking at me as I sent the text. I looked up from my phone at him and realized how tall he was. Even in heels I was still about six inches shorter. “I know I like calling you Ponyboy though. I think it is unique.” I said and we turned the corner. I looked over and could see the station. My phone beeped indicating I got a text. I had told Summer to meet me at the DX gas station in five minutes. Apparently she is already there. I looked over again and could see the familiar platinum blond hair. I grabbed Ponyboy’s wrist and ran over to her. I let go of his wrist as we were right behind Summer. She didn’t see us so I got right next to her ear and shouted, “HI SUMMER!!!!” She screamed and jumped back and faced me. I tried to contain my laughter as she gave me a death glare and two guys came out of the garage, but failed. I began to laugh and fell to the ground and held my sides. Summer stood over me and looked down. “That’s not funny Cleo.” She said with her hands on her hips and a scowl on her face. “You-you’re right i-it was hilarious.” I said and began to laugh even more. Once I regained myself I hopped up and dusted myself off. “I hate you.” Summer said. “I hate you too. Hey we have something in common we should be friends.” I said and we just looked at each for a moment. Me with a smile and her with a frown. Then we both started to laugh while Ponyboy and the other two, who I hadn’t gotten a good look at yet, stared at us like we are complete idiots. Once we were done, I draped my arm on her waist and she draped her arm on my shoulder. We looked at the three boys who were very confused. “Ponyboy this is my best friend, Summer.” I said and pointed to her. “Summer this is Ponyboy and wait Pony don’t tell me, the one in the middle with the blond hair is Sodapop, and the one with the brown hair on the end is Steve.” I said and Pony nodded. “How the hell do you know who I am? I don’t know you.” Steve said and Summer gave me a warning look. And Soda gave Steve a warning look. “Keep your pants on I won’t go overboard. I know you because Ponyboy described all of the gang so well. If that is a damn problem then that is to fucking bad because I asked him to describe y’all.” I said and stepped towards him. To be honest he had a scared look in his eye. Everyone else could see it too. “Steve, what’s wrong?” Soda asked. He pointed at me, “Her eyes.” I looked back at Summer who had the same worried expression as me. “Steve what about Cleo’s eyes, did they flash a color or anything like that?” Summer asked as she stood next to me and I just stood still. “Her eyes, they flashed a reddish brown color then went back to blue.” He said looking at Soda then back at me. I stared at Summer and she stared back at me. “We have to go.” I said and grabbed her wrist and dragged her in the direction of my house. For one of the first times in a while I was scared.
