"Water under the bridge." Audrey said with a fake smile.

"Totes." She says with the same smile and slight laugh.

"Okay! So, how about a tour?"

Time skip

After the tour of the outside areas, we go inside to see a few students going to their rooms and helping other new and younger kids get settled in. I wasn't paying much attention until I hear my name.

"-- if there is anything you need, feel free to--" Ben started.

"Ask Doug. Or Y/n." Audrey finished for him.

I look in the direction of the group that have wandered a little bit away from me.
"Y/n? Can you show the girls to their rooms while I show the boys to theirs?" Doug asks. I nod and look towards the two girls and start to walk up the stairs knowing that they were behind me.

"You don't talk much. You scared?" One asked. I shook my head no and kept walking. I hear a sigh. "I'm Mal. This is Evie." She said. I turned around and looked at them. They stare back and we stay there for a moment. "Okay! Where is our room." I nod and look back at the paper that has their room number written on it.

Wait. This room number-- I start to think but I then shake my head. No no. It's fine Y/n it'll be fine. I continue to lead the way in silence.

We soon stop and I open the doer with the key and hand them both a key. "Okay. This is your room." I look at the door across from it. It's my door. So I was correct. Their room is right across from mine. I look back at the two girls and point to my door. "I'm right across from you so stop by if you need anything." I say and turn to walk away.

I open my door and hear a slam come from behind me. I turn to see that the door has shut with a large amount of force to cause such a loud sound. I sigh and open my door to see that B/f/n is in the room looking at me.

"Hey! How was it? With the villains, I mean." She asks with a smile doing some unpacking of her belongings. "I know you were excited about meeting them. I'm not completely sure why but--"

"Adventure." I said before she could finish. "All for the adventure."

     "Adventure? Should have known when it was you. I just hope you don't get hurt because of this "adventure" you speak so fondly of." She said laughing slightly. "I saw that you got hit on by one of them." She said smirking and wiggling her eyebrows in a suggestive manner.

     I've never been in a relationship. I never cared enough to have one. A lot of guys seem to like me and they'll flirt with me but I never cared for it. Having a relationship now would just cause trouble for me. Dad won't be happy because I'll be dating, my grades will probably drop, and I'll probably end up heartbroken so I don't want a relationship. Not now at least.

     "Meh. Not like it's never happened before." I say shrugging. "How about you? Are you in a relationship?" I ask. She's been of a few.

     "Nope. But come on, Y/n! Your almost (16, 17, 18)! You need to find someone soon! Live a little!" She says grabbing my shoulders and shaking me. I sigh.

     "I'd rather not." I mumble.

     She was about to respond but there was a knock on the door. "Hello! Y/n. We need some help." I hear Evie say. I go to open the door to see all four of them standing in the hallway smiling lightly.

     "Yes, what is it?" I ask looking at all of them one bye one until my attention was directed towards Mal.

     "So, Ben and Audrey are dating, right?" She asks. I nod and she smiles. "We don't know really how relationships work but do you happen to know why they are dating?" She asks.

     "I think Ben said something about it being arranged. Why?" I ask and my attention goes to Evie.

     "It seems like some tension is between them. But I could be overthinking it." She says. I nod.

     Ben never seemed to really like Audrey. But, hey, I wasn't going to ask about it. "Is that all?" I ask and Carlos (you learned names on the tour) nods.

     "When do we have to be in the dorms? For, you know, curfews?" He asks.

     "About 10:30." I say. He nods and the four wave goodbye and walk away. I look towards my friend who looks shocked. "What?"

     "Y-you... but.... w-wait... what?" She asks I tilt my head. "You don't seem to be at all scared of them." I look at her and nod. "I don't get it. Even your dad said that they are dangerous."

     "They haven't done anything." I say and start to unpack. She nods and does the same and we don't speak much. After a while we chat and realize it's 10:29. We know they do room check around this time and so we  stop talking and got to sleep.

        I wonder... what will tomorrow bring?
