Natasha's POV

She was going to do it, despite my desperate pleas. "Yelena, don't! It's not worth it!" I understood fully why she wanted to be the one to defeat them. She and I both wanted to redeem ourselves for the years we spent doing evil. She had insisted that she had to be the one to destroy them all. I told her we were in this together, for her to let me help, but she refused.

I had just reunited with my family. I couldn't bare to lose another family member. I lost my actual family and though it wasn't my fault on what happened with Pietro, I lost a fellow Avenger. I lost my family. Yelena yelled back at me with her thick accent, "It's for the best!" She whispered, "I'm sorry Natasha." She raised her weapon, about to strike the plane that Dreykov was in, which would cause an explosion. One of which would kill Yelena, much to my despair.

"NO," I cried as Yelena brought down her weapon, puncturing the airplane as burning years fell down both of our faces. She got thrown backwards, due to the strength of the explosion. I had no time to waste, so I grabbed a parachute and ran over the edge of the falling Red Room. I had to get Yelena back. As annoying as she is, she meant too much for me to lose her. I navigated through the mess of the building falling out of the sky. I spotted Yelena and steered my way over to catch her.

Yelena's POV

I was kneeling at her grave. I honestly think part of the reason she died was my fault. If only I had sacrificed myself earlier. Well, if I had, she would have been depressed. The person she sacrificed herself for is a bastard. My sister was an amazing, badass, woman. Her sacrifice saved the world, yet destroyed mine. (A/N: The previous line gives me Traitor by Olivia Rodrigo vibes. God I wish that you had thought this through, before I went and fell in love with you.) I cried my heart out, knowing I could never get her back. The gravestone read:

"Natasha Romanoff

1984 - 2023 (2014)

A brave hero, loved by many, will be kept close to our hearts."

I placed a rose on her gravestone, as someone came up behind me and asked, "Would you like to avenge her death?" I turned around to see Valentina and I tiredly nodded my head. She showed me a picture and simply said these three words. "Kill Clint Barton."

A/N: BROOO. BW KILLED MEEE. tbh i felt like it could've been better. Honestly, if the ending went the way I wrote, i would have been super hyped for the Hawkeye show

the end. dont attack me, this was my personal opinion on how it shouldve went
