Chapter 4

Harry couldn't believe this bullshit he was hearing.

Louis Tomlinson wants to be friends? What the hell changed? Why now?

Harry couldn't wrap his head around the situation. It made absolutely no sense to him, he almost wanted to laugh thinking it was some sick joke, but Louis's face told him otherwise.

So, instead Harry sighed, complied to the sorrowful boy and wrote down a couple of things that a decent human being should do. This definitely did not mean they were friends, it just means that Harry could finally teach Louis how to respect people, no matter their class.

He couldn't help but feel proud inside when Louis started reading the list out loud.

"1. Never judge someone for their looks, riches, or rumors."

"2. Always treat people with kindness, however when they're a bitch to you, you're allowed to be a bitch to them. It's life.-" The rich boy pauses and looks at Harry knowingly.

Harry returns his gaze and just nods for him to continue.

"3. Always consider the other persons feelings, never be rude to them first unless they have done something to you."

"4. Last but not least, alway ask, "how are you today?" " Louis finishes the last rule and looks at the taller boy strangely.

"Isn't that kind of odd? I mean wouldn't that get repetitive?" He inquires, tilting his head. Harry simply shrugs in return and says,

"Who knows? it could save a life. Never under estimate the power of words, and it's not repetitive if you mean it." Louis looks at him for a long moment before nodding understandingly.

The blue-eyed boy then gently sets the paper down and looks at Harry with question in his eyes. Harry is about to ask him what's wrong and why is he starring at him creepily, when Louis interrupts him with,

"So Harry, how are you today?"

Harry pauses, shocked, he hold back his small smile as he responds,

"I'm okay, I guess. How are you?"

Louis frowns slightly knowing that's not the whole truth-(the scars definitely tell otherwise)-, but decides to let it go.

"I'm good, I'm great actually my dad bought this new Ferrari and I get to take it joy riding, but he said no poor-" Louis starts, not even blinking an eye at what he was about to say, until Harry gives him a slight glare.

"Oh, uhm yeah I'm good. Thanks for asking." The rich boy sums up his ramble and blushes sheepishly.

Harry nods approvingly, smirks, and simply says, "Good start, bitchy rich kid." Before turning back to the front of the class as the teacher enters.

During the rest of class the taller boy can't help but have a slight hope that the blue-eyed boy really wants to change.......but however, he also knows that change is hard, and not many people like the struggles that come with it.
