PRESENT

SUNYOO POV

"H-hoseok?!" I exclaimed as I looked at the man infront of me. He looked like he grew up well. He had the exact same features he had when he was a kid.

"Sunyoo, I missed you so much. You know... how I wanted to approach you everyday and ask you how you were doing," he smiled.

"W-wait... how... I thought you were dead,"  I replied and he smiled a bit.

"I told the doctors and they gave me a favor to announce me dead. And they used the body of a random person as my ashes. I had to run away, and I never regret doing it," Hoseok replied and I looked at him as tears formed in my eyes.

"H-Hoseok! Why would you do that? You know how much I've spent crying myself to sleep missing you! And you even changed your name into mom's surname!" I cried as I ran to give him a hug.

"I missed you too, Sunyoo. That's why I'm doing this for myself and for you. J had to change my last name so people wouldn't suspect me," he reasoned and I looked up at him.

"Then why did you just show yourself to me now?" I muttered.

"Because I heard you met Taehyung. Don't worry, I know he was the one who saw you grew up without me, and I had to work for him. But now, we need to do something, Sunyoo," he said as he grabbed my shoulders.

"What... what is it?" I replied.

"I heard Mom really forced you into Helsinki huh... you must've felt lost without me. That's why I'm here to have your back," he smiled.

"Let's run away together."

My eyes opened slightly, looking at him as he smiled slightly.

"Sunyoo, all your life you were controlled by someone who thought they knew best. But they don't. They say because they're old, and they have experiences means they know what life is all about. When in reality, it's you who knows how your life, experiences, and story should go," he continues.

Hoseok....

I missed him...

But what about Jimin?

"I care about you. And my contract ends with Taehyung as soon as I exposed myself to you. And I plan to take you with me so we can get out of this hell together," he said as he patted my shoulders.

"Hoseok.... I don't think we can do that, we can't do that so suddenly," I said as I looked at him, and he cocks a brow.

"They why... why don't you want to leave?"

NAMJOON POV

"Good Morning, I recieved your reports for a partnership and collaboration?" I asked as I walked inside the building, and the person was standing infront of me, back facing me.

"Mr. Kim, I heard you were the CEO of a famous pharmaceutical company in America. It would be a pleasure to meet you," the person started and I nodded.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, I'd like to know how much you'd invest if you want a collaboration," I replied and the person turned to me.

"Around 2 billion dollars, would that be more than enough for you?" The person replied.

"Hmmm... I'll try to see about it and I have to discuss it with my board. While I'm on it you should issue a contract," I replied and he smiled.

"Of course," he nodded.

"And what's your name? I'd also like a business card," I replied.

"Mr. Han Hyunseok."

SUNYOO POV

"Maybe... it's because... I want to save someone too, Hoseok," I replied.

"Why? Why do you want to save?" He replied.

"All our lives, we've been living with a golden spoon in our mouths. But I've met someone that changed my whole mindset," I replied.

"What is it? Is this about that Kim Seokjin guy? Sunyoo, I know you love him but-"

"It's not him. I somehow cared for him. He was kind enough to share his story with me and made me cry with him, he taught me how to open up to others," I explained.

"And who is this man? You know.... he made me learn about all kinds of things, be made me realize what love really is," I said and he cocked a brow.

"And who is he? Is he someone... I know?" He replied.

"He's someone dear to me. But he's also been through hell, and somehow he has overcome it. He had his own battles, but it still left him insecure and full of problems, that's why I can't leave him," I trailed off.

"He treated me like his comfort place, so I want to be with him and make sure he's okay before I go with you," I replied and he smiles warmly.

"Whoever he is, I hope he treats you well. Because when you talk about someone you love so much, you talk like... that. But it doesn't matter, now you know how it feels to stand up for people and put them before you, I think that's true love," Hoseok smiles as he pats my head.

"True, but I do want to escape with you. We just need time... and to overthrow our parents," I smiled back.

"Doesn't matter. I'm not gonna run away anymore, because I promised myself I'll find you and keep you safe and free," he replied.

SEOKJIN POV

RIIIINNNNG!

"Sir! This is XX news! We just want to ask-"

"Fuck off, don't call me," I groaned before hanging up. This might be the 100th call I got today.

RIIINNNGG!

I furrowed my brows before finally shutting my phone down, dumping my head in between my arms before letting out a groan.

Why why why do you have to make such rumors?

When will Youngyeon come back?

I take the remote control before turning the television on.

"And on our hottest news, Korea's most handsome businessman, Kim Seokjin has been tied in numerous rumors this morning. Some sasaengs have retrieved footage of Seokjin with a woman and they were talking to each other privately. We are currently reaching the man himself for some questions-"

Then, I grit my teeth as I throw the remote control towards the television, making it crack as it went off. I sighed deeply before resting my head.

If only Youngyeon were here.

Please please pleaseee if Youngyeon was here.

I lift my head up as I stared at the slightly opened curtain gap of my window.

Youngyeon, wherever you are. I love you.

Please don't forget me. I won't forget you.

And... I hope you're safe out there.

JIMIN POV

"I'm here... what do you need?" I asked as I approached the woman. She was wearing a scarf and a long coat as she stood there with her luggage.

"I just realized.... could you do me a favor?" She said as she looked down at the floor.

"Hm? What is it?" I replied and she sighed.

"Could you... uh... drive me somewhere?  I need to do something," she replied and I nodded.

"Sure where would like to go?" I ask and she leans towards my ear before telling me the address.

We're now inside my car. I drove her to the destination to where she wanted me to drop her off and as we arrived there, I went to take her luggage out and she smiles at me.

"Thanks Jimin. You see, I needed a place to stay for the meantime and this is the only place I could think of. Thank you," she smiled.

"Are you sure? I can help you find a house if you want to, now that I've heard what happened from you," I said.

"Well, it's fine. This is much better to be honest," she smiled and I smiled back.

I burrow my hand in my right pocket as she began to turn her back on me.

"You... take care... alright?" I responded and she nods.

"Yup. Thanks again! I knew I could trust you!" She laughs.

We stare at each other as she waves at me, which assured me that she will be fine.

"I'll be back to meet you better than ever!"
