FLASHBACK

SEOKJIN POV

"You're soooo lame! Are you gonna cry?" The other middle school kids said as they shoved me by the side, making me fall down with my bag.

It was back in middle school when the bullying started. Everyone despised me because I didn't know how to speak with other kids. I preferred to be alone and was too scared to even be with them.

"Listen, you're useless here. We don't need a person like you in our class," one boy said as he shoved me again, making me hit my back and I hissed in pain.

"Now now, he's too stupid to know he's useless. Isn't that right Seokjin?" The other boy chuckled and they laughed as they looked at me.

"I hope you finally realise how much of a pest you are! You're pathetic!" They laughed as they kicked my leg.

"Ow!" I hissed as I fell off my balance, the dust making my uniform dirty.

"Hey! What's this all about?"

"Uhh... uh..," the boys muttered as they jolted at the sudden voice, I was still on the ground in pain as I looked at them, not knowing why they were anxious all of a sudden.

"It's that pretty junior! What do we do?" They ask themselves as their eyes suddenly widened, looking at the other unfamiliar figure that was approaching them.

"What is this? You're making fun of another student? And you're also seniors! Isn't that a bit immature?" The figure asks as they looked at them.

"We-we're sorry! H-hey! You're a junior right? We've seen you before! You're from the A-class, right?" They ask and the figure crosses their arms at them.

"I am junior! Now go away before I report you to the teachers!" The figure threatens and the bullies instantly panic before running away, leaving me with the person.

"Hey, are you okay?" They ask as they kneel towards me.

She is pretty.

That was my first impression. She had really fair skin, and her black hair was tied into a messy ponytail as she stared at me, then her eyes travelled to my leg that was bruised.

"Hey there sunbae! No need to worry, they're gone now. Did they hurt your leg? I'll bring you some ice," she asked and I nodded as she stood up.

"Do you want me to help you walk to the infirmary, or do you want me to bring ice to you, and you can wait here?" She asked.

"I'll just wait here, and sit at that bench!" I said as I pointed to the bench outside the school and she nods as she bowed at me.

"You can call me Han Sunyoo. What's your name, sunbae?" She asked and I smiled before nodding my head at her.

"I'm Kim Seokjin," I replied and she smiled back before turning her heel, walking towards the infirmary.

-

"Come on, I know there are wounds under that arm. They did this, didn't they?" Sunyoo asks as she sets down the first-aid kit even though I asked for ice only. I pressed the pack down my knee.

"I'm totally fine! It's not a big deal! It's just, ow!" I flinched as she pressed down at my arm, and she took it before slowly rollinf my sleeves down, revealing the scratches I got.

"At this point, if you don't bandage it, it will scar. We don't want that, sunbae. Plus, it might blee and seep through your sleeves," she said as she observed the deep cuts that I got from the bullies.

She took out some band-aids, putting some on my scratches as I shyly looked down as I rubbed the back of my neck.

"You seem really familiar. You're that one junior who participates in plays and acting skits, right?" I ask and she looks at me before nodding.

"I participated in lots of them back in elementary. But I'm not sure if I could compete with the seniors now that I'm in middle school," she beamed.

"Really? You seem to be doing pretty well as a junior and you'll improve as time passes by! You can even be an actress!" I said as I stared at the beauty mark near her left eye.

"Thank you! But I don't really think I'm going to be going down that path, I'll most likely take a business course! And I'm also rooting for you! What do you do, Seokjin sunbae?" She asks and I stare into the sky before answering.

"I'm taking business too! My father will be starting a business soon!" I replied.

"Really? That's cool! My family has a small business at the moment! Maybe when we grow up we can partner up you know!" She beamed and I smiled back.

"Sure, we can."

Han Sunyoo. She was 13 and I was 14 when we first met. She and I would talk whenever we bump into each other and our friendship would also grow in each step of the way. We shared a really close senior-junior friendship. But it wasn't until then I had to transfer high schools and she had to move abroad to study after she graduated.

5 YEARS LATER

"Are you sure you'll be fine in Helsinki, Seokjinnie?" Mom asked through the phone and I hummed in response as I rolled my luggage to the university gates.

"I'll be fine mom, promise! First thing you'll know I'll be speaking fluent English as soon as I come back," I chuckled.

"Don't forget to take your red ginseng every morning! And don't drink too much coffee. I know I'm not there physically but please take care of yourself!" Mom replied.

"Yeah mom! I'll take care of myself! You can stop telling me now, I'm in university now!" I joked.

"Alright, it's just that seeing you and raising you from a little boy to being a young man makes me emotional. It's like you're a son to me," she said and I smiled, even though she wouldn't see it.

"Alright, love you mom," I said softly as I made my way to the front desk.

"I love you too," she replied, then I waited for her to hang up first.

I stated my name infront of the desk, and also made sure to submit my requirements to prove that I have already enrolled in the university.

"Kim Seokjin, 19 years old on business and management. Here is your key for your dorm. You will sharing with a male roommate in the male quarters," the lady said and I nodded and thanked her before getting the key and making my way to the elevator, my other hand clutching on the manual where I could know which direction I was going in the campus.

Ding!

The elevator doors opened whilst I was waiting, and my eyes widened as I scanned a figure that was looking back at me, and I walked inside as the doors closed.

Well, I didn't know how to start a conversation.

Today, it just hit me that things have changed and time passes by too fast.

Because right now, I was looking at a woman. She was wearing her high school uniform, and it had the logo on it. And her lips were redder than the last time we met. Her hair was still black, and it was now longer than last time. And I could still the mole near her eye.

She must've been attending her high school years here too. And might start university here as well.

As the elevator doors opened, I stepped out and she followed me, and she looked at me before smiling a bit.

"Kim Seokjin, right? Long time no see, nice to meet you again," she said as she stuck her hand out.

"Nice to meet you too, and long time no see, Han Sunyoo."

Vote or u will become a virgin forever

And also, don't attack me. This ain't for the JinSun shippers there, this is so I want you to know more on why Seokjin deeply cares for Sunyoo, and doesn't want to hurt her. (And also I wanted you guys to understand Sunyoo too) (and yes, friends care for each other)

Also, I want to point out that even though Seokjin's mom is his stepmom, Seokjin loves her and trusts her so much even though Joonseo's biological son is Namjoon. But she also loves Seokjin and treated her as her son too.
