No relationship is made for certain until the end but the gem who is one fallen for Y/n is a surprise guess who it is before the ending. Modern au also.

No one's POV:
I can't decide what costume to choose. Either being a cat or a witch. [Roll with it or pretend it's something else.].  Nobody at the time knew what the younger girl they knew would dress up as. The only thing she ever mentioned was "it's cute I promise!"

Y/n would always force the gems to dress up as something that fit them. Phos would be a cat curious but lazy. Rutile as a mad scientist. Zicron as a puppy.

Everyone else as something that fit them as well. Y/n would dress up as whatever she felt like. This year she dressed up as a zombie. She had put makeup on and everything else.

She felt proud of her outfit and went to the gems. Red Beryl of course had a small fit as seeing the zombie clothing was torn and ripped in different places but Y/n had argued saying it had to be there cause it added to the costume effect.

Later she found an envelope on her living room table addressed to only her. She had decided to open it and read it and looked at the letter.

~Hey Y/n,
I really like your costume but I couldn't say it to you physically. I got too nervous to tell you but I want to meet you outside in the backyard to confess something to you

You smile and put the letter in one of your pockets. You slowly walked outside and saw Cairngorm wearing his zombie outfit. She giggled very quietly to herself at what he was wearing but coughed a little to get attention.

He quickly looked at Y/n while blushing and quickly stands up straight. "Y/n you actually came?" He asked with clear confusion in his voice. Y/n nods while smiling "yeah and I like how you and me had the same costume idea!"

Cairngorm blushed in response and quickly composed himself. "Y/n I wanna confess something to you... I've fallen in love with you ever since you became friends with my entire family. I don't even know how you became friends with literally everyone here but I love your personality, your ways of handling things. I completely understand if you don't accept my feelings."

Y/n had felt her cheeks go a bright red but smiles and basically tackle hugs Cairngorm yells out in surprise but hugs back. "Of course I love you too! I love you more than a friend but I could never tell that until now"

Both of them stared into each other's eyes for a moment before sharing a small kiss with their eyes closed. Suddenly they both heard a click. They pulled away to see Phos giggling loudly with his phone.

Cairngorm quickly sets Y/n down gently and took off running after Phos yelling at him to delete the photo. Y/n smiles to herself while hugging herself.

You had fallen in love with a cold yet absolute sweetheart.

I know I know it's short but I wanted a Halloween one shot special before it became way too later. I didn't wanna delete this and have to wait until next year for a Halloween one shot.
