White tower and golden geese - Part 7 - Arryk x Erryk x Harrold x Reader
The twins broke out into a run, as they tried to find the lady that had just left the small council chamber. They had heard the rumours. They had heard tell of what the younger Hightower had told her father that day that they had brought her back from the Rush. The day that she had stood before them in all her naked glory, offering to do whatever they wanted as she glistened in the afternoon light. The drops of water like diamonds that slowly slipped over her flawless flesh, as she waited for their reply. The image of her just as fresh in their minds now, as it had been that night. As it had been when they had first pleasured themselves with the memory, and as it had been every night since. They had eventually spoken to one another about it; both of them surprised, yet not, that they could not forget about her. That they could not forget about her beauty, and the fact that they had denied not only themselves, but her. The twins only able to imagine what might have happened, if they had said what their hearts truly desired. If they had had enough courage to confess that they wanted nothing more than to share her. To give her what she seemed to want, just as much as they did. The two men no longer able to deny that they had wanted the beautiful lady, for some time. Yet the oath hung heavily over their heads. They wore the cloak and had sworn the oath with pride; the two wondering that if (Y/n) did not want to be taken as a wife, and if they fathered no children with her, whether they would actually be breaking their promise. But now, if all the stories were true, then perhaps they had lost their chance to know her. To know her as only lovers can.
"She's done it again........." Arryk sighed, as he and Erryk finally came to a halt.
They had no idea what had been said behind closed doors. Only knowing that her father, sister, the king and Ser Cole had been in attendance. And given the look on her face as she had left to chamber, neither knew whether things had gone right, or wrong.
"Ser Westerling............" Erryk suddenly said, as he looked to his brother. Arryk nodding in agreement, before they both made their way to find the older man. Hoping that the lady would be right by his side.
Everyone knew that (Y/n) had always had a soft spot for the Lord Commander, and that he felt a love in return. Even when she was little, and he was just a Kingsguard, she would follow him around like a shadow. Utterly curious about, and some would joke, completely in love with the older man. Many saying that it was because her own father showed her no love, that she had looked to the warrior. That when he thought no one else was around, Harrold would sit her on his lap, and listen to her tell him about what she had done and the wonders that she had found around the castle. Also that he had been the one to help her find the tutors that had taught her how to fight; and had, perhaps, even trained her himself.
"Shhhhh. Listen.........." Erryk said, as they finally reached the Lord Commander's rooms. The two moving so that they could see the through the gap of the slightly ajar door. The twins watching as Ser Westerling sat in his chair, and the lady paced the floor.
"Why would you agree to that, child......?" Harrold asked, as he watched (Y/n) walk to and frow.
"What other choice did I have ñuha vīlībāzmio......." (Y/n) countered. The term of endearment that Rhaenyra had taught her, in High Valyrian, bringing back memories for them both. It being some time since she had called him, her warrior. (Y/n) dropping to her knees and placing her head on his lap.
"My father wishes to wed me off, and I cannot, will not marry a man that I do not love; not when I............."
"Not when you what.......little one..........?" Harrold asked earnestly, as he raised her head so that she was looking at him.
"You are in love.............?"
"I..........I think.........yes......yes I am. I did not realise it until recently, yet I know it now. But I also know I cannot have what I want. I.........I offered myself the other day and was refused. I stood there, naked, and was denied." (Y/n) confessed. Turning her head as she saw the disapproval in the knight's eyes. Always hating it when she disappointed her warrior.
"If I am not loved in return, it seemed best that I swore an oath. That I donned a cloak and kept my chastity. That I followed in your footsteps, ñuha vīlībāzmio; but to do that, I have to beat Ser Cole. I have to prove that I can fight; that I can defend the king and the royal family, against all foes. And if I can; if I can show the king, my father, my sister that I am as much a warrior as Ser Cole, then I will be free. I will receive the title of Kingswarden. There will be no more talk of marriage to the like of a Lannister or the Seven forbid, Larys Strong. But to do that, I will need your help. I know what Ser Cole is capable of; my sister, my father will tell him to not go easy on me. That he should do all he can to make sure that I fail. Yet with your assistance, I know I will not fail. Please, ñuha vīlībāzmio, do not let me fail................" The lady pleaded. Tears slowly making their way down her cheeks. Erryk and Arryk watching as the Lord Commander brushed them away with his thumb, before kissing (Y/n) on the forehead.
"We start training in tha morning. Cole won't be beaten easily; but he's never faced you before." Harrold finally replied. The twins actually surprised to see him smiling, as the older man got to his feet and pulled (Y/n) up with him before taking her into his arms. Erryk and Arryk looking at one another, deciding that they should give the pair their moment. And that they needed to talk about what the lady had just confessed.
