Annabeth's POV
I was crying now as I saw Percy slip into unconsciousness. I decided to see how bad his wounds were. I flipped him over gently and raised his shirt. I stumbled back. His back was unimaginably red. Blood was racing down his back over bruises and cuts. This was all my fault, he wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for me. I quickly grabbed my backpack that I found quickly after our fall and took out bandages I wrapped him and he didn't even move a muscle. I cried leaning on his body as I felt him stir " Anna...b.. beth" he stuttered. " Percy" I answered. His eyes fluttered open and looked straight at me. " Annabeth, r u ok?!" He said half-yelling. I could see the pain and worry in his eyes. " I'm fine Percy....." I hesitated, " How r u feeling?" " I've been better." He laughs but i see him fighting back tears. "U r so difficult Seaweed Brain." I giggled but I was worried.
Jason's POV ( oh snap)
The Argo 11 was deathly silent as we all headed down to our meeting. Trying to break the silence I spoke, " they'll be fine, Percy won't let anything happen to Annabeth." But we all knew that Percy might protect Annabeth too well and get himself hurt in the process. Hazel spoke our thoughts aloud saying, " yea but he sure won't care if he dies in the process of protecting her." Silence filled the room once again. " What if we try to Iris Message them?" Leo said hopefully. All of the sudden a note appeared on the table and I read it aloud. It said:

I͞ w͞i͞l͞l͞ a͞l͞l͞o͞w͞ u͞ o͞n͞e͞ I͞r͞i͞s͞ M͞e͞s͞s͞a͞g͞e͞ t͞o͞ P͞e͞r͞c͞y͞ a͞n͞d͞ A͞n͞n͞a͞b͞e͞t͞h͞ p͞e͞r͞ d͞a͞y͞.

Everyone's faces seemed to brighten at the news. Leo flipped a coin into the mini fountain that appeared in the center of the table and a vision appeared. Percy and Annabeth were falling, and Annabeth was clutching Percy. Suddenly the area around them turned red and the ground was visible. With a blink of the eye, Percy flipped Annabeth so that he could take the full blow of the fall. Everyone gasped in shock as he reached to ground with a sickening crunch. Annabeth was crying and leaning over his bent out of shape form. She flipped him over and studied his back and I saw tears in everyone's eyes. His back was terribly red with deep gashes and bruises. Finally he groaned and managed to slowly saw Annabeth's name. She answered saying Percy. They exchanged a few words and Percy asked how Annabeth was feeling. Everyone at the table laughed slightly and carefully at the irony of Percy asking her how SHE was. Annabeth turned around and saw the Iris Message. " Oh my gods, hi !" She said her face filled with excitement and worry for Percy. Piper said, " how's Percy." Annabeth's face turned grave. " guys.... Oh gods I don't know what to do Percy is gonna get himself killed protecting me, I don't even know what to do now .....There's no water to heal him and we don't have any ambrosia or nectar." Percy seemed to slowly realize we were there as his eyes locked to the screen or umm Mist I guess. " hey Jason my bro." He croaked forcing a smile. Jason's heart clenched. " hey Percy, How u feeling." Percy winced before putting on the smile, " I'm fine ." He managed. He could see everyone holding back tears. " How's everyone over there he said worry seeping through every word. " We're good." Percy's face brightened at the words. Just then the mist rippled and we couldn't see them any longer. I looked around the room and saw everybody's shocked faces. " How is he gonna survive ?" Hazel muttered. I raised my voice, " I can't believe he took that fall and is worried about us." Everyone finally let there tears fall as we remembered the image of our broken friend and the worry on Annabeth's face. Then silence rang and for once no one tried to break it.
