I laid there, staring up at the ceiling. I was cuffed the the bed to "prevent any further outbursts." I don't know why I attacked her. I just felt like I had to. I don't know what else to do. I don't know whats going on. I just want to know what they're doing to me.

She comes in and out of here, asking me questions and saying stuff. I stopped answering her. I don't talk to her anymore.

I feel like I'm going insane. I want it to stop. My head is constantly pounding. I want to go home.

The door opened again.

She stood in front of me. "Good morning, Mr. Cerulli."

I glared at her.

"Are you ready for your treatment?"

I didn't respond.

"I think we'll keep you awake for this one. I want you to feel it. You irritated me Mr. Cerulli."

Two guards came in and uncuffed me. They dragged me out of the cell and into a different room. I didn't know what they were doing. They strapped me down on a table and moved aside as she came in.

"Open his mouth." She said.

The guard grabbed my jaw and pried my mouth open. She came over to me with a strange rubber thing. She shoved it in my mouth. I tried to spit it out, but the guards held my head still.

What are they doing?

She attached something to my head.

I tried to fight again. I thrashed and tried to break free.

What the hell is she doing?

What is on my head? What's in my mouth?

"200 volts. 3...2...1..."

All of a sudden, I felt this sharp pain shoot through my head. I screamed.

Then everything went black. I could feel my body convulsing. I couldn't see. My head throbbed. I grabbed the edge of the table, feeling the metal cut my skin. I couldn't breathe. My body wouldn't function.

I could hear myself choking. I felt like I was drowning, like I was underwater. I couldn't stop the shaking, the burning in my brain. It hurt.

And then it stopped. I gasped for air. My vision cleared up. I stared at her.

"1 minute 12 seconds." She said. "We're gonna go again. 300 volts. 3...2...1..."

It started all over again. I screamed. My vision went black. It burned. My entire body burned. I clenched my teeth. I could feel the blood dripping down my fingers.

I don't know what this is. I don't know what she's doing. It hurts. It fucking hurts. I felt like I was on fire. I couldn't breathe again. I was trying but I couldn't take any air in. It hurts.

It stopped again. I tried to take in air. She pulled the thing from my mouth.

"Now, Mr. Cerulli, you're going to remember this one. Remember how it felt." She said. "If you dare attack me like that again, I'll keep you awake through another treatment."

"Fuck you." I gasped.

"I could do it again. I'd risk frying your brain, but that's a risk I'm willing to take."

"I dare you."

She shoved the rubber thing back in my mouth with the help of the guard.

I tried to fight it but I couldn't.

She moved aside, and then I felt it again.

She's gonna kill me.

They dragged me back to the cell and dropped me on the floor. I couldn't even move. I still felt the burning in my veins. It wasn't going away. Everything ached.

I'm gonna kill her. She has no right to torture me like this. I don't know why she's doing it. I feel sick, like I'm gonna throw up.

I want to fucking go home. I hate it here. I don't know where the fuck I am and its fucking driving me crazy. 

I want to fucking die. 

"You should do it. Get it over with. You deserve to die."

"What?" I whispered, looking around the room. 

There's no one here. 

"No one cares about you, Chris. Do the world a favor."

"Who's there?"

"Take one of the guards guns. Empty it into your skull."

"Stop."

I looked around the room again. Where is that voice coming from? There's no one here. I'm alone. 

"Who are you?" I yelled.

"I'm you."

"What?"

"I'm in your head, Chris. You've finally lost your mind."

I stared at the floor in disbelief. In my head? No. That can't be. That's not right. I'm not crazy. 

"You are crazy. Fucking insane. Look at you, hearing voices in your head." The voice spoke.

"No! I'm not fucking crazy!" I screamed, gripping the sides of my head. 

I don't know what's going on.
