The memories swirled around him like a poisonous blanket, that was killing him slowly. Snippets of voices and menacing, foreboding smiles, glimpses of torturous weapons in the dark soon became the same harmful memories he had been working so long to block out of his new pain-free life...

The cold in the dark, wet, cramped room was unbearable. Jungkook had been trapped in here for hours. He sat in the corner shaking from cold and anxiety. The movement forced a painful groan from his lips. His breathing was laboured and agonisingly painful. The constant abuse and suffering was more than he could take.

He messed up a few days ago. They let him out, and he messed up. Now he was sat waiting for his punishment. The fear and anticipation was eating him up inside. He lowered his head and sighed heavily. The dull ache behind his eyes began to make them droop over his pale cheeks. Jet black lashes against the snow of his skin he slept.

Lights behind his eyelids were what woke him from his fevered sleep, turning his world from gentle darkness to a blazing orange. Prying his eyes open he could only make out two male silhouettes in the decaying doorway. After being trapped in darkness for so long his eyes stung stung at the brightness of the fluorescent light bulb above his head. One of the men stepped forward into the light, the menacing glint in his eyes was clearly visible beneath the ugly scars and cavernous deformations of his face. The merciless smile that was plastered across his twisted features sent shivers down Jungkook's spine.
"You broke our rules pretty boy..." the man whispered his tone threatening and patronising at the same time. A small nod from the man in front of him made the other silhouette retreat and return with an all to familiar box. It was coated in a red crust of Jungkook's dried blood from past punishments. Jungkook's hand immediately went to the still healing lines that wrapped around the smooth skin of his hips and upper legs. A tear full of terror fell down his cheek, leaving a streak of clean on the  boys muddied cheek. The other silhouette stepped closer, so close Jungkook could smell his foul breath. The sound of metal scraping against metal forced a petrified whimper from his lips. "Please..." he begged helplessly "I-I'm sorry please I" his words were cut off by his blood curdling screams as a knife plunged deep into his flesh. Crimson liquid began to soak his bare flesh. Another metal implement was stabbed viciously into his legs. A maniacal laugh came from one of the men. Tears rushed down Jungkook's face in a never ending torrent. Hysterical cries and pleads poured from his lips in between chilling cries and screams. Cold began to spread through his veins. Looking down at his legs an empty syringe stood mockingly out of his left thigh. The cool began to spread throughout his entire body. Panic-stricken the boy tried to flail and squirm out of his captors hold but his limbs stayed perfectly still. The pain was excruciating now. More and more metal began to sink into his skin. A jolt of pain erupted from his hip. The joint had sprung free of its socket and was lying agonisingly at his side, the muscles contracting around it trying to guide it back into place and failing miserably only made his suffering worse. Scars and deformations that once had formed a beautiful face came into is vision and cackled at him. The sadistic men pounced on the helpless boy filling him with more and more metal, spilling more and more blood until there was nothing left to play with. His shoulders, knees and hips were all out of their sockets turning him into a sprawled mess on the floor. An agonising grimace twisted his features into nothing but pure sorrow as darkness overtook him once again.
