Chapter 60: Fake Love

Jimin didn't stop running. It terrifies him to know what had happened back then. He didn't know if leaving Yoongi like that was a good idea either. He knows everything he had done was going to cause his downfall.

But maybe if he did something good for once, the heavens would be forgiving, and he was allowed to redeem himself for what he had done. But he knows for what he had done. Everything was for a reason.

It was love.

The sweet and intoxicating of love was addicting, and he couldn't help to slip every time he tries to get out. He was addicted to this fake love. He had been fantasising about it for years. He knows he couldn't go back to the past, but maybe you could be his answers.

Despite living in glooming halls, and the constant fake love, he saw the light for the first time in his life. He saw you. He saw how life had a continuous trying you. Jimin laughed at your face when he saw you trying to live as if he knows your death was timed. He had even seen your nightmares constantly trying to pry your mind and body.

He had seen how many times the devil had tried to knock on your door, and what astonished him is you were different from what he had thought you had become.

He was used to knowing that he had fallen into the devils' trap was something an everyday thing. Jimin was trying to slip his way up, and Jimin knows he was going to drown. But you were different.

As he was trying to run away, he was desperate to run away from what had grabbed him, but you were embracing the darkness. Instead of endlessly running away as he did, you were walking to it. The devil quails in your presences.

So instead of knocking on the door, you had the devil trap.

He observed how you had fought every battle, the constant push and pull, the continuous treads, they could make someone go crazy. If he didn't know better, it would have killed him.

"Jimin..." you try catching your breath, "Do we need to run again? I – I – the explosion the – fire."

"I'm going to need you -you to listen to me, alright?" Jimin was stuttering. His body could stop shaking as he tries to push you away.

"Jimin... what –"

"You need to get out of here, please... I'm sorry I didn't know what I was doing –"

Your fierce eyes were trying to understand why Jimin was like this, You held his hand, and you look at him as his eyesight was trying to observe every possible move that was coming.

"Jimin... we need to go back, yoongi –"

"I know – I know I'm trying to find a way, alright? I just I need to talk to you and –"

"What is it?" you asked him. He looks around as he drags you into the back of the pillar.

"I need to tell you everything –"

"The house, everything, it's here for a reason, and Namjoon is not behind it –"your eyes widen at what he had said, "Namjoon, he was always in the scene and everything, he was the main 'king' of the house, but after searching through everything and –"

"Wait... wait for - Namjoon is not, isn't he the one who inherited all of this?" Your question, "you're not making sense, min, Namjoon is the centre."

"No... you don't understand, after reading the files, from his office and I know he's more than just the guy, he's not the heir, I – I –"

"Jimin... how do you know all of this? It doesn't make sense, alright?" you try to look at him.

"I was told by –"he was beginning to get frustrated, but then he stops talking. He was holding back, and you knew, whoever he was trying to name, he was protecting them.

"Jimin, who told you all of this?" you said, but he didn't say anything.

"Jimin, you need to be honest with yourself," you try to reason," If we're starting this push and pull, I don't I'll be able to help anyone – "

"I can! I can help I just –"he was stuttering –"I don't, I can't."

"Why can't you do?"

"Because of love, the misery bound to love, it's killing me-"Jimin was crouching, and you crouch beside him, trying to hold him.

"I do – I do want to tell you, "He said, "but the cost of knowing will be greater, and I could not risk you or anything, I promise you, and I'm going make sure I don't break that promise – "he grabs my hand –"I made a mistake in bringing you here, I'm getting you out."

Your eyes widen at his confession as you let go of his hand. His eyes were beginning to pour out tears. Jimin didn't want to let go as his heart was crying out to hold your hands, but his mind was screaming to turn back and drag and drown you to the ocean, the voices of his.

"Jimin... I'm –"you couldn't believe what he had said –"what did you say?"

"I promise, I- I didn't think through... you just – I – thought ," he stumbles, "Namjoon... he wanted to hide something, and it's big... I tried to help I wanted too I just, I didn't think when I saw that night, I was not thinking straight and – "he started.

"I brought you here because Namjoon wanted to hide someone. He wanted to hide a secret. He wanted to hide something, a body." Jimin sat down, "He wanted to hide whoever he had kept a secret, but I – I don't think Namjoon was the one who killed them. He was hiding it for someone else."

"What – What do you –"

"I think he did something or someone. He was panicking that night. Namjoon said he'll lose everything, his status, his house, his money, he would lose everything if he didn't please them. He asked me to find somebody a girl, and you –"he looks up to you –"fit the perfect role and –"

"Jimin, what did you do, where are the bodies he had hide and –"

"No! You – you don't understand, Namjoon, he's not just hiding the bodies, that's not important he's protecting –"the sound of the gun piercing through the air, making your eyes widen. Jimin begins to run, grabbing your hands.

But you had refused, and Jimin looks at your hand, which didn't hold his anymore.

"Come on, you have to see the files he had. I promise you I will show you everything."
