Chapter 24: Innocent.

          Namjoon was the first one to step up, and Taehyung cowers back into your back as he holds your dress.

"I will need you to step aside as I will be taking Taehyung from you," Namjoon said, but I wasn't going to let go, not when I have not got my answer from him.

As Namjoon was closing in, you look at him," You're not taking him away from me Namjoon, he hasn't done anything wrong for you to take him away unreasonable."

Namjoon who head it suddenly stop his track as he looks at you questioningly, his cold stone face was put in a façade as he looks at Taehyung in a hardening stare, Taehyung cowers back as you held him by the hand.

You know it was a bit out of your mind to protect Taehyung like this, but now the people in this house are unreasonable. They were dragging someone like this, unless.

"I don't see why you need to protect Taehyung, and it's better for all of us if you give him to us right now and –"

"Give me one good reason why you should take him away, don't you see he's trembling in his feet," you roared. Jungkook, who had calm Hoseok down while Jimin was calming down Seokjin while Yoongi, who was silent, was looking at you both.

"It's obvious you can see Taehyung your killer and –"

"Do you have proof? I can't believe you came here barging in my – our room like this and decided it is okay for you to take my husband away." There you played the husband and wife card, you had no choice, but you need Taehyung's trust, you didn't know you were playing a dangerous game, who might know more than you think.

"I didn't think that you're this naïve and –"

"I've been aware all this time Namjoon, and you're just playing a dangerous game with someone naïve." As you finish your words, his stare hardened and Yoongi had his feet on the ground ready to give back up.

"Just like you said I didn't know any better so please enlighten me," you said daringly, probably not the best choice but you're ready to risk it.

You hope that Namjoon would slip but again for someone as Namjoon he was always prepared with a situation like this, so Namjoon comes prepared as he smiles, one thing you might know about Namjoon is that he doesn't just stand there and let people bite, he bites backs.

"Right as you had said, you're naïve. You wouldn't understand love," He looks at you daringly," Or perhaps you do know something? Or –"

He was tempting you to spill your thoughts, he was taunting you if you knew something it might be dangerous for you, and again if you were in the middle of a death trap this is not the best way, you're trying to find the truth while not exposing yourself either.

"No. I don't, but the least I can do is know why you decided to drag my husband, I am his wife, aren't I? Unless you're saying I'm not?"

But you were smarter, a bit too daring but you're taking your chances.

His eyes who was as equal as challenging as you held it's blank façade again.

"Yes. I guess you are. But it would help if you were mistaken, I'm not taking your husband, because I have nothing better to do, as you might not know. After all, you were naïve." He smiles.

"He's being taken away by us because of attempt murder, and I don't think I can let a killer out of the way." He said as he walks to you," Your attempt murder. You need to be careful who you trust sweetheart, and you might fall in a rabbit hole."

"The same rabbit hole that drags you in?" you were retorting back when you look at your side and see Jungkook was looking at you as his body twitch.

"Namjoon was going something for you, please we're not trying to bring any harm and –"

"Jungkook"

"We want you safe, that means taking measure any obstacles in our way." You look at Jungkook and Namjoon back.

"I'm glad someone does care, but this is my husband I know him in the back of mind despite my amnesia, Thank you for caring, but I think you might know where the door is." You said confidently as the people in the room gives the looks.

"You can come back when you have proved he was the killer." That is if Taehyung doesn't kill me first, despite protecting Taehyung, the boys' words were reasonable, and yes, I can believe that Taehyung might be the killer. Still, I need an answer in this crazy house if that means dancing with the Serial Killer himself.

"Namjoon, you –"

"It's okay Jungkook, we can come back another day," Namjoon said as he walks away with Jungkook who was looking Namjoon and Jimin who was ushering the youngest to move, while Seokjin could only look as he also follows the others.

Hoseok and Yoongi stayed as Taehyung was breathing in relief.

"Hoseok are you alright that was some punch thrown to you," you said, but Hoseok shrugs.

"I had worst, don't worry I'm alright, I'm always alright, we need to go now," dragging Yoongi who gave you a nod—leaving you and Taehyung alone.

You turn to Taehyung who sat on the sofa.

"Taehyung..." as you called out his name you look at him.

"I'm trying to help you, alright? Don't worry, I trust you." Not really.
