CHAPTER 33
Chapter 33: To a simple end of a row of forgiveness pt.2
Trust.
It's Something that you need to build within the people surrounding you. You can see someone in a second and tell yourself you must make them trust you. It is the first step of what we call a bond.
It's like trusting someone by tying a string to their pinky fingers. That is precisely what you did when you first arrived at the house. You try to find someone or Something to try that string for a sense of trust, a bond. You don't know that the string you tie accidentally ties itself to seven men in the house.
Strings for someone you could trust were entangled because you were searching for the one. The worst part is.
They become obsessed with the strings you were going to tie. They wanted them to be the person you wanted to connect with, and they would do anything to get that, even if death were the only way.
"If Taehyung wants us to know, he will tell him by himself," you told him, still sitting down. Of course, you wanted to know, but you trust Taehyung enough. After what happened, you can give the guy a break from explaining himself.
"Oh flower, you were always this naïve." Yoongi walks back, leaving you behind for some peace and quiet.
"It's funny for you to trust Taehyung this much, and you don't trust me?" Yoongi asked, "Even asking if I did something."
"Yes, I don't trust you."
"Have you ever?"
"Look, Yoongi, and I don't want to debate on this and –"
"I'm not debating on anything. Now, don't you want to know what your little friend has been doing since he disappears? Trust me, Anne, and the story has just started. What you went through did not happen just once."
"Again, with this talk?" you groan in annoyance. You didn't need this right now. You didn't want to hear what was happening outside with what you could handle. It's not getting better to know that you were in this mess. You were somehow connected to the past.
A past that you didn't want to be part of but was written for your faith.
You looked up to Yoongi, and he kept his eyes on you. You continued, "You all must tell me what was happening bluntly. I can't take it."
"Exactly, you can't take it. I'm not cruel enough to say. Besides, I have nothing in this. I'm someone who knows. But the person behind all of this? I'm not the one who can say. You should listen to the person who is involved." Yoongi took your hand, "Come on."
You did not have it. There must be more than waiting for Taehyung's explanation, so you walk away from him.
-
"You should just give up," Yoongi started as he saw you rummaging in his 'room'. A specific place was given for all of you to stay. Hoseok had managed to buy a house big enough for many people. So, it becomes everyone's tiny own space.
And you've been trying to find the tiny detail Yoongi missed to tell you. He's not budging on informing you about it. Of course, you were the type to be nosy after all, but after Yoongi's little slip-up. You were sure he was doing Something behind your back.
"You are surely one nosy human being. Don't you think you had enough drama for one episode?" He asked before he held your hands, "Stop."
"Yoongi, I don't think I appreciate doing this behind my back," you told him, "But you can't just put pieces of stories in front of my face and then not give the other half. I don't care about anything else, but it involves me. I need to know."
"From the beginning, it always involves your well-being," Yoongi started, "No story would start if you don't start."
"Then tell me everything."
"Anne. I want to. Do you know how much it kills me not to tell you everything, but it hurts me knowing you don't even know everything?" Yoongi looked at you sadly, "I just hope you understand everything I say, but I don't need to explain anything too much."
"I'm not a mind reader."
"I hope you are."
"You are unbelievable." You groan.
"Just try asking him, Anne, Taehyung, where he has been. He will tell you more than what you asked for." Yoongi say, "Then you'll realise what I mean. Just ask where he is." Yoongi then went away.
As you were trying to ask Yoongi again, the door opened and, of course, spoke of the devil.
Taehyung came into the place and searched for Something until his eyes landed on you. The cold glance starts to soften, and he heads to you as he rubs your shoulder slowly.
"I see you've been doing well. I'm glad."
"Where have you been?" you asked him, slowly not wanting to sound so obvious.
"I've been around, got a lot of things to do," Taehyung shrugs, "But everything is under control. You don't need to worry."
"Like?"
"Like what?"
"Taehyung, where have you been? I haven't seen you in a while, and you came here to give me a report I didn't ask for. Unless you have Something to say?" You try to sound like you don't care. It made Taehyung quiet. You were right, he thought. You didn't ask what was happening. You asked where he was.
"Is there something you want to talk about?" You asked him slowly.
"I don't think so," Taehyung was quiet, and you nodded.
"Are you sure? Nothing to say?" you asked him again, and he shook his head.
"Alright. I'm going to look for Yoongi, then. I need him for Something," Something flickered inside Taehyung, making him step his body before you.
Bingo
"Why did something happen?" He asked suddenly. You shake your head and walk out, but Taehyung pulls your hand.
"What is it? You need to tell me."
"I don't have to tell you anything." You told him and began walking again. Taehyung did not have it, and he stopped you again.
"Taehyung, what is –"
"If Something is wrong, you tell me. Why won't you tell me anything?"
"Why won't you tell me anything?"
