Nina and Eddie informed them of what happened. Then they claimed to feel weak so they were taken to their individual rooms. Joy snuck off, out the door, with food in hand for the dog, Erik. Jerome took notice but didn't say anything. He continued to limp after the others on his cane.

Both Eddie and Nina rested on their beds. Fabian sat on the edge of Nina's holding her hand. She'd not yet fallen asleep and they were sharing a moment as they stared at eachother.

Nina, for a while now, was hoping that'd Fabian would propose, and she almost had the thought that'd shed need to propose herself Fabian was still too-well, Fabian-to yet propose.

"Stay here with me, Fabian," Nina told him drowsily.

"I'm here; I'm always here, Nina," Fabian responded, squeezing her hand. He gave her a kiss, and she kissed back.

In Eddie's room, Patricia sat against the wall on Eddie's bed, her legs bent over Eddie's body. Eddie had his eyes closed, but he wasn't asleep.

"Stop staring at me, Yacker," Eddie muttered. He could feel her eyes as they pierced his skin.

"What else do I do?" Patricia questioned. "Look around the room?"

"Well," Eddie opened his eyes, "if you're going to look at me, at least talk to me."

"Fine, Weasel. How are you? Are you feeling ok?" Patricia faked a sweet, angelic, caring tone, sort of like Trudy's a while ago.

Eddie laughed.

"Seriously though," Patricia went back to her regular voice, "do you feel alright?"

"Yeah, totally. W-well I've been thinking, what if I found a way to talk to this Osirion? What if I can get some information or something useful. Maybe understand what he meant when I don't have any hope in this place."

"Remember what happened last time we had affiliations with another Osirion? You know, the one right before you-Rufus Zeno?"

"All Osirions aren't evil. I'm not."

"But any Osirion can be."

"True. But this guy wants to protect the world, not destroy it."

Patricia retaliated with, "Well, I don't want you to do it, so don't!"

Eddie had pleading eyes. "Why not?"

"Because I actually care. I really do care about my little Weasel."

Eddie nodded. "Because you care."

Patricia stood up, kissed Eddie, and then pinched him.

"Tell anyone, and you're dead." She walked out the room.

Same old Patricia.

A few days had passed and the gang decided they'd either explore the third and final floor, or they'd go through the snake room on the second. Or they'd split the group up.

"Third floor!" both Jerome and Amber exclaimed.

"I'd really like to see Jerome and Amber with those snakes," Alfie laughed. "Especially, Jerome."

"Since when has Jerry been so afraid of snakes?" Eddie remarked.

"Since Jerry was possessed by Set, the god with the snake," Jerome shuddered. "And don't forget you were bitten by that snake, Alfredo."(references to HOA: Reunion!)

Alfie looked down.

"Well, since Jerome and Amber will never go through that room of snakes," Nina declared, "Fabian and I will."

"A-a-actually, I'm not too big on snakes myself."

Nina rolled her eyes. "Well, neither am I, but I can still do it."

"Hey, hey," Eddie butted-in, "I'll go."

"Thank you, Eddie," Nina smiled.

Nina and Eddie went through the room with the mirrors. They had their flashlights on as they opened the next door where many, many snakes were alive and well.

"Yep," Eddie sighed, "snakes for sure."

Nina and Eddie groaned as they made their way quickly, but carefully, through the snakes. All the snakes were small and skinny, not like large, threatening ones. They made it to the door sooner than they thought. Eddie opened it, ushered Nina through, and went in himself, closing the door behind them.

"Eddie?" Nina swallowed.

"Yeah?" Eddie hadn't turned around yet to see what she saw.

"I think I like the snake room more."

"Why-ohhh..." Eddie had turned around.

On the third floor, the other six came across a door leading to a circular room with a clear glass roof so that the sky was visible. In the center of the room were two sarcophagi lying on the ground horizontally. Everyone neared them, Fabian and Joy in the front most part of the group. Fabian nearly dropped his flashlight when he read what each sarcophagus was labeled.

"What is it?" Alfie asked.

"One says 'Chosen One'," Joy explained. "The other says 'Osirion'."

"Wait, is Apep trying to kill my man?!" Patricia exclaimed.

"Precisely," Jerome responded.

Suddenly, a chill swept through the room.

"Did anyone else feel that?" Amber questioned, getting scared. She was nearest Jerome so she squeezed his arm.

"We have to go warn them," Fabian claimed as they all turned back.

They were stopped in their tracks as they heard a wall slide open behind them. They faced back around, seeing an entryway consumed by utter darkness.

"Should we?" Joy asked them.

"We should not!" Amber announced, squeezing Jerome even tighter. Her nails actually began digging into Jerome's arm.

"Amber!" He suddenly yelled. He pulled his arm away, faced Amber, and out his hands over her arms. He looked into her eyes. "Amber, Amber, Amber, Amber, Amber...Calm down."

He released her as she took deep breaths and regained herself.

"I'm going," Joy decided.

"We have to warn Eddie and Nina though," Fabian's voice rose up high.

"Then go do that. But I'm seeing what's through there."

"Dude, they have powers," Alfie laid his hand on Fabian's shoulder. "If they get into trouble, they'll be able to protect themselves."

Fabian took a deep breath. "Fine." He looked at the others. "Well, are we all going?"

They nodded. Joy grinned and everyone followed her. Everyone except Amber. Jerome looked back right at the entry to the passageway to see Amber looking down, holding her arm.

"Coming?" he asked.

Amber didn't respond.

"Amber?"

She looked up.

"Are you coming?"

"I'm really scared."

"Hey, you've got five of us here. We won't let anything happen to you. Sibuna, right?" He held his hand over his eye.

Amber just looked at him.

"You can hold onto my arm."

Amber slowly smiled, said Sibuna, and finally joined them.
