Fabian, Nina, Patricia, and Eddie decided to call the others on Sunday after receiving word that Amber would fly out on Tuesday. Fabian would call Joy, Nina would call Jerome, and Eddie would call Alfie. Patricia was fine with not calling anyone. She just sat by Eddie whose arm was around her shoulders.

"Joy, hi," Fabian greeted as Joy answered her phone with a 'hello'.

"Fabian, what do you want?"

Fabian could hear the annoyance in her voice. "Is something wrong?"

"Nothing concerning you."

Fabian was taken aback. Something must've been going on since she was meaner than usual.

"Hey, Fabes, I'm really sorry, I just have a lot going on right now. But hey, what is it?"

Fabian hesitated. "Well, it's-there's going to be a reunion, and you're invited."

"What sort of reunion? Just a friendly reunion or the reunion that involves something Sibuna related?"

"Um...well..."

"Fabian, I'm a detective at an agency. If I really needed any more mysteries, I would call Eddie or Nina before any of you called me."

"Joy, please."

Joy was silent for a moment. "Ok, when?"

"We're all going to meet Amber at the Liverpool airport at eight pm on Tuesday."

"Eight pm, Tuesday-got it. See you then, Fabes."

"Yeah, bye."

Meanwhile, Nina dialed Jerome.

"Yeah?" Jerome answered the phone.

"Jerome?"

"Nina?!"

"Yeah, hey, I was wondering if you'd like to come to a little friendly reunion? All of us are going to the Liverpool airport at eight pm on Tuesday for Amber's arrival."

"Sounds...okay...eh, will Joy be there?"

"Yeah, why? Wait, are you two not together?"

"Er, nevermind that. I'd be happy to come."

It took Eddie a few rings but Alfie finally answered his phone.

"Alfie speaking."

"Alfie, how would you like a little reunion?"

"Like, old pals?"

"Yeah."

"When is it?"

"Tuesday. We're picking Amber up from the Liverpool airport at eight pm."

"Awesome. I'll meet you there."

They ended their conversation. Everyone in the room faced eachother.

"So, we're all set?" Nina asked.

"Yup," Eddie confirmed.

Alfie was the first one to arrive at the airport, leaving Willow to stay at home. Next, it was Fabian and Nina, then Jerome who'd taken the transport and came limping on his cane, Patricia and Eddie, and finally, Joy. Joy and Jerome resisted making any eye contact the entire time they waited, nor did they acknowledge eachother in the group conversation. Alfie took notice.

"Are you two okay?" he asked.

Neither Jerome nor Joy answered.

"Ooh, there she is!" Nina exclaimed as Amber made her way through the people. Honestly, the airport wasn't as busy that night.

Everyone greeted Amber with hugs, hellos, and smiles. They accompanied her to get her bags, and everyone followed Eddie and Patricia in their car to their house. Jerome rode with them.

As everyone settled in a got comfortable and refreshments were distributed, casual conversation began. Casual conversation went on until Alfie brought up Jerome's condition.

"Soo...what's up with that whole cane thing?"

"Well, I was attacked," Jerome told them honestly.

"Attacked?" Fabian repeated.

"Yeah. By some strange thing. I don't have much recollection of it though."

Nina eyed Eddie.

"Do you think-" she began.

"-yeah. Definitely," Eddie finished.

"Yeah, definitely, what?" Amber questioned.

"Obviously, this is a Sibuna thing," Jerome had answered, catching on instantly. "We've been summoned here for a new mystery at hand."

"Don't be mad we didn't tell you the whole story on the phone," Eddie pleaded, "but we just needed to get you guys here."

"Get it on with before I leave," Patricia sighed.

"But I-" Eddie began, "-but we-but you live here."

"I know."

"Anyway," Nina intruded, "Eddie and I've been having nightmares, and we found out we're being haunted by the Egyptian god Apep, 'Lord of Chaos'."

"I am not dealing with another chaotic god-nope," Jerome shook his head. "I was possessed by Set. I'm not going through that again."(reference to House of Anubis: Reunion!)

"Please, just, listen," Fabian said.

Nina continued. "Eddie, Fabian, Patricia, and I saw the words, 'Get ready for your demise' carved into my cabinet wood. It's still there at my place."

The room was silent. Patricia decided to finally step in and help. "Okay, we're sorry on notifying you all on such a short notice, but we need you guys for this. This is serious. We know you've got families and crap in your lives going on, but it's time we saved the world again."

"I flew all the way here from America, so...duh," Amber agreed to being on board.

"I have a wife and a kid on the way," Alfie explained. "Can I really take an attention away from that?"

"Alfie, please?" Nina pouted.

"Okay, okay, fine!" Alfie jumped on board almost instantly.

"Joy? Jerome?" Amber questioned.

Most everyone realized Joy had not said anything yet. She still had Jerome and that fight other mind. But she did hear what the others were saying, and if she were to have to keep working with Jerome, she didn't know how long until she'd just explode-or possible implode.

But she found herself agreeing instead of refusing sooner than she realized.

Jerome was the last to jump on board, and that was when Joy looked over at Jerome who'd managed to act as if she didn't exist this entire time. He was smiling at the others, paying no mind to her. It almost made her wonder if Jerome still remembered she did exist...
