So, this character is Shadow's. Information and things in my randomness book cause I'm to lazy to retype (:P derp)
Begin~
It was a bright and sunny day. The birds were flying, the sky was a beautiful shade of majestic blue.
Life was going pretty good for our little hero-in-the-rough. Now, on this particular day, a certain dragonet had been wandering around the woods, his motives unknown and his expression unreadable. The woods themselves were of deep greens and dark umber, the leaves all creating a gorgeous canopy of emerald, almost making the dragonet feel at home, despite the change in color. Color and forests aside, he seemed to be searching for something, although what this something was, was a mystery. He searched under a bush, but having found literally nothing, he flew up to a tree and looked around there for a while. He'd even searched a nearby pond. While he was searching around, he came across a suspicious looking, abyss-like hole. It was so dark and ominous that it probably wouldn't have scared anyone. Walking over to it, he inspected it carefully before turning to leave. Before he even had the chance to blink however, he was suddenly falling into the deep darkness, the last thing he saw was the face of a small sloth, which waved at him before disappearing in a poof of green.
The next time he saw light, he was laying sprawled in a dimly-lit cave, a small stone table in the center. On this table sat two objects. One, a river stone with the words 'throw me' carved into it, the other was a lava rock that read 'drop me'. Taking his chances, he picked up the river stone and chucked it across the room. A few minutes later, he realized that he was growing larger, little by little he was slowly getting bigger. Startled, he picked up the lave rock and dropped it, hoping to stop whatever was happening. He began to shrink, growing smaller and smaller, until eventually the table was larger than he was. It was then that he spotted a small cave entrance, which was his perfect size. He ran through it, hoping his ordeal was almost over.
{Author Intervention: Who can see where this is going? I know I'm not following the original story line, but cut me some slack, it's hard to write when you've just got dragons. Who don't use doors, and have no use for keys... or cookies...}
After following the hallway for what felt like hours, he walked into a room that looked to be painted with flowers. -Right... not weird in the slightest- He thought to himself, glancing around. That is, until one flower moved. At first he thought he was crazy, but then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw movement. Whipping around, he found himself face to face with a moving flower. It only moved for a split second, but he'd definitly seen something move. He continue his walk through the room, an odd sensation of being watched creeping over him. When he was about halfway, he stopped. Somebody was singing. Following the sound of the voice, he found himself face-to-face with a door. This one was massive, almost a little too big. Pushing it open, he found a small teaparty on the other side. There were three dragons seated around the table. Two looked to be identical twins, while one was a weird blue/purple color.
"Excuse me, where am I exactly?" He asks nervously, walking over to them.
"Why, this is the Land Of Wonders. Nothing ever makes sense here, so don't even try too try to make sense." The odd blue-ish dragonet said. Just then, another dragonet, this one tiny and delicate, popped it's head out of a teapot. It's small green eyes were beaming with contentment.
"That made no sense Glass." It says, looking over at the purple dragonet.
"That's the point Moon." She responds, gently pressing on the teapots lid to get the small dragon to disappear.
"How do I get out?" He asked, his voice a little more reassured than last time. The twin dragonets shrugged in unison. He rolled his eyes sarcastically before turning away from the table.
"Wait! Wait, I think I know someone who can help you," The purpley dragonet yelled, "Her name is the Queen of Darkness, and she knows a lot! Maybe she could be of some help!" He nodded.
"How do we get to her place?" He asked, looking back at the dragonet.
"Just follow me!" She says happily before assuming her spot in front of him and beginning her lead role.
{Author Intervention: AHHHHH I FEEL SO INSPIRED!!!!!!! For those of you who haven't guessed it, Glassy is in fact the Mad Hatter. I'm definitly changing up some aspects of the story, but I'm hoping it's okay with you all :3 there will be a Cheshire Cat, so don't worry [he is actually another of Shadow's characters (whom J found in Shadows OC Book :3)]}
So, the two were just walking through the forest, following these weird little mushroom things, when they heard a random voice.
"Are you lost?" It asks.
Glass was looking around, although still watching the adorable mushroom creatures. The two look up into a tree to see yet another dragon. This one was a sort of lime green at the moment. For some reason her horns looked kind of like cat ears.
"Who are you?" The little hero asks, although rather quietly. The lime green dragon chuckles.
"I, am the amazing Cashier Cat. I don't know why my name is Cashier, but I guess I just had weird parents." He shrugs, looking kinda awkward.
"Oh... nice to meet you Cashier. We were looking for the Queen of Darkness and got slightly... lost." He explains, chuckling awkwardly. The cat-dragon nods, disappearing for a minute before reappearing besides Glass.
"What you wanna do, is just head straight towards the giant impeding doom castle over there." He says, pointing to an ominous looking castle in the distance.
Glass nods, thanks him, and then the two take off on their journey once more.
{Authors Intervention: Yay! Everyone's favorite author/reader talk time! Shadow, just in case I did a horrible job of depicting him, Acidcry is supposed to be the Cashier Cat [don't ask about my naming choices, I don't understand them either...]}
After a few hours of walking, the two dragonets finally male it to the castle. It was made of darkly colored stone, with deep greenish-blue accents here and there. Our hero took a few deep breaths before knocking on the door, which was inevitably answered by... none other than a perky looking white and pink dragon. -How awfully out of place...- He thought, looking over the new dragon.
"Hello. We'd like to speak with the Queen, if possible." He says, doing his best not to hyperventilate.
"First, calm down, you look like your about to explode," She laughs, "and second, you might have to wait, she's in an appointment at the moment."
"When can we see her then?" He asks, his voice super serious now.
"I'll let you in and I'll tell you when, alright?" She asks. They both nod, which then leads to the white dragon opening the gate and leading them around the castle.
{Author Intervention: #WhenYouLiterallyFollowNoOrigi-nalStoryLine...Oopsie}
It was another few hours later before the two got in to see the Queen. As he was walking into the room, he suddenly felt this strange feeling. A feeling he'd never felt before. Was it dread? Fear? Loneliness? When the two finally met the Queen, they could only see the deep blue-green-turquoise of her scales, and the web patterns on her wings, but they couldn't see her face. She was wearing a strange mask, which looked a bit like a shiny, sequinesed spider.
"Hello, your highne-" He starts, quickly cut off by the Queen herself.
"Don't. You. Dare. You know me better than that, don't you?" She asks, sounding a bit hurt.
"What do you mean?" He asks curiously.
"Look, what happened in the past doesn't matter now. There's something important I need you to do," She says, sounding rushed, "The Land of Wonder is going to be destroyed, very soon, and I need you to take something back to your world with you. I had Diamond bring you here for a reason." She looks over at Glass with a friendly smile, whereas he had just noticed a small sloth, the exact sloth that had started this mess, sitting on Glass's head.
"Alright, what do you need?" He asks. The Queen smiles and hands him a small object.
"This is the only thing that will ever be left of our Land of Wonder. This egg is our last hope. Take it back with you and raise it as your own. And then when we're all gone, or little land will live on."
"Doesn't seem little to me," He mutters, "But alright, if that's what will get me back home." He smiles.
"Oh come on Aby, you can't actually expect me to believe that." A turquoisey-green dragonet laughs. She smiles, holding the egg like it was a precious diamond.
"Okay, maybe that wasn't the true story... but it was pretty entertaining, right?" Another dragonet, this one a bluish-purple, asks sheepishly.
"So... I'm guessing you need my help taking care of it, don't you Aby?" She asks. He nods, beaming happily despite her lack of confidence in his story.
"I thought that maybe, since I found it and all... that you could name it." He says while laying down, resting his chin on his talons. She nods, looking down happily at him.
"I'm okay with that," She says setting it down and laying down across from Aby.
"Hey Rach? I... I love you." He says, blushing like crazy.
"I love you too." She laughs, his adorableness being nothing new to her.
The End
Holy cows, that was actually kinda hard to write. I apologize for any bad grammar, anything completely and utterly stupid, or anything horribly thought out. It's late for me and I'm kinda tired, but I'm also slightly proud of this? Should I be?
I mean, I basically just copied someone... I'm not even sure if this should really count... maybe I'll write another one, just to be sure...
Anywho, what'd you guys think? Poop, Super Poop, 0/100000?
}♡{~RM
(that little bit at the end though... I will do anything for that ship, seriously... was this even from Aby's point of view? Should this egg be Aby and Rachy's adopted child? First world problems people... 😂 okay, bye for real now)
