THE NEXT DAY IN CONNECTICUT AT THE WWE HEADQUARTERS...

Dean, Roman and I were all sat waiting nervously outside Vince's office at the WWE Headquarters, with each of just looking at each other but not saying anything.

I was still finding it hard to believe what had transpired in the last 24 hours. I should have been waking up that morning next to Roman in a posh 5 star hotel suite, with the both of us waiting on room service right now, but instead here we all were, at the WWE Headquarters, ready to do and say anything to get our jobs back. When I finally did read all my emails from Stephanie and hunter, they all said pretty much the same thing: how disappointed they both were in me, and how angry they were that I had once again taken personal matters into my own hands, and aired them on national TV. However, about 7:00am this morning, Dean and myself both received the same email:

Dear Faith/Dean,

I require you both to attend a formal meeting at WWE Headquarters with myself, Stephanie and Hunter, to discuss your future with us here at the WWE. Given what happened last night at Monday Night Raw, I am inclined to terminate BOTH your contracts, along with firing you both for the damage and embarrassment you caused the show. Not to mention suing you in front of courtroom for breeching your contracts. However, I received a lengthy email early this morning from a Lieutenant Schofield down at the Chicago PD, informing me of the disgusting and illegal acts of another fellow WWE Superstar, Seth Rollins. I am, and will be for a very long time, absolutely shocked by what I read that he did. Based on all that, I would like to speak to both of you, face to face, to see what can be made out of this mess.

You are both to be at my office in Connecticut at 2:00pm sharp!

This was our one and only chance now to explain ourselves, and get our side of the story told....we couldn't blow it now. We were lucky we even had a chance at all, I mean if it wasn't for Lieutenant Schofield issuing a formal statement to Vince about Seth's arrest, and the crimes he had committed, we may not even be sitting here right.

We planned to show Vince, Stephanie and Hunter the video of Seth's confession, and explain our side of the story with the evidence we had. We prayed the outcome would result in Dean and I getting our WWE contracts re-instated, which Stephanie had suspended with immediate effect, after the show was ruined last night.

''Relax baby, it will be ok'' Roman said, reassuringly putting his hand on mine.

I looked over at Dean, who was sitting on the other side of me, shaking his leg nervously. I put my hand on top of his hand too, and he looked at me through worried eyes.

Just then the Door to Vince's office opened...''Come in'' he said in an authoritative tone.

We all stood up in unison, and entered his office.

''Roman you're not permitted to be here you know...but on this occasion, I'll let it go'' Vince said before strutting round and sitting in his master chair.

''Thank you sir'' Roman said respectfully.

I could see that Triple H and Stephanie were both already sat down on either side of Vince, waiting patiently for him to start. Stephanie was just sat with a blank expression on her face, while Triple H just glared at me from his seat. He had such an angry look in his eyes, that I lowered my own and kept them glued to the floor.

''Take a set'' Vince said to us. I could feel my heart begin to beat faster with worry and anticipation as we all sat down.

''First off, I want to address you Ms. Melrose, and express just how deeply sorry, myself, Stephanie and Hunter are that such a heinous thing happened to you all those years ago'' Stephanie and Triple H both nodded at his comment.

''Thank you'' I said quietly.

''But needless to say Misses, you CANNOT do what you did! You CANNOT exact your revenge or personal vendettas during a live show event! YOU JUST CANT!'' he shouted ''You also can't endanger the safety and well being of another fellow WWE Superstar by bringing out your own weapon to use against them, no matter what the cause! Do you understand?! What you did last night Faith was unprecedented, un-called for, and downright UN-PROFESSIONAL!!!'' he barked.

I hung my head in shame, and was comforted by Roman squeezing my hand.

''You have once again caused the show a lot of man power, embarrassment, respectability, credibility, and MONEY! Money which this time a mere $10,000 dollar fine won't fix! I now have to talk to the board of directors, and explain to them everything that happened, just so we can keep our slot on USA Network, and hopefully not have our good name tarnished by what you did!'' he said, taking a deep breath before continuing on ''However, a pretty amazing thing happened last night Faith, during AND after the show...'' I caught Hunter looking over at Vince a little confused, like he wasn't aware of this new piece of news that Vince had, while Stephanie just remained calmly looking in front of her.

''...I don't know how clued up you are on social media, but shortly after my daughter announced your dismissal, a hash tag started for you on twitter: #ReinstateFaith''

My eyes widened with surprise...

''It seems that your outright boldness on the show last night, sparked a lot of people who have had similar situations to you, to come forward and support what you did. It appears that the WWE Universe are 100% behind you on this Faith, and this is something I won't ignore'' he then threw a rude sideways glance at Triple H as if they had been arguing behind closed doors over my status in the company ''What you did last night, has set a platform for things to come, and we also noticed a 85% rise in your merchandise as soon as the show was taken off the air. Something else happened after the show too-and this goes no further than this room-but Stephanie was confronted by about 8 other Divas, including Eva Marie, Mickie James, and Emma, who privately informed my daughter that Mr. Rollins had performed similar acts on them early on in their careers too, but that they were too afraid to speak out at the time''

I gasped now, looking in-between Roman and Dean, who too both looked just as shock horrified as I did.

''As I'm sure you are aware, Mr. Rollins is being detained in the Chicago precinct, where he will await trial for the crimes he committed. Faith, I want to inform you that you have the support and backing of myself, Stephanie, and the entire WWE roster'' Vince said. Then he looked over at Triple H...

''You have my support too'' Hunter said quietly.

''Now I know you all came in here prepared to give me your testimonies so you can have your jobs back, but it's not that easy. You see, we know it was really Seth Rollins that assaulted you that night, and the world will find out eventually, but at the moment, Dean over here has already been receiving death threats for the crime you falsely accused him of. The WWE too, about how we could have hired someone so evil to work for us, without doing the precautionary background checks, which is why Dean that why your contract was also suspended –all this happening of course before we found out it was Seth'' we all watched as Vince turned in his chair and looked directly across at me ''out of curiosity Faith, and only in the privacy of this room, what made you think it was Dean?''

With the support of Dean and Romans testimonials, I began telling Vince the entire story from the very beginning to end. Dean then followed it up and showed him the video of Seth's confession. It surprised me to see how shaken up Triple H looked over the whole thing, with his mean glare gradually growing softer the more he learnt the history of what happened. Dare I say he even looked apologetic as to what happened to me.

''Well that's quite a story, one with all due respect I never wish to hear again'' Vince said ''I just can't believe that Seth would do something like that, he always seemed such a nice young boy with a promising future ahead of him. He let us all down, and we're glad to be rid of him!'' Vince said ''You were a brave girl to stand up for what you believed in Faith, knowing the damage it would cause to you and your career, and for that I respect you'' Vince said softly.

I felt Roman squeeze my hand again, and I gently squeezed his back.

''If we are to re-instate you both back, we need to find some way to explain everything to the WWE Universe, AND exonerate Dean''

Dean and I both looked at each other hopefully and smiled at Vince, just praying there was some sort of way we could put everything right again.

''I will need to discuss this with my family'' Vince said ''and in the meantime I'm gonna ask you all to step back outside. We will call you back in shortly once we've made our decision''

''Thank you'' Dean, Roman and I said at the same time.

When we stepped out, the first person I saw was Paige. She was leaning against the wall with her arms folded, just staring at me.
