It was just as beautiful as I remembered the first time...more beautiful even! And I felt a sudden rush of warmth and comfort as I drove up the gravel driveway to towards Romans home. I took my time looking round the quiet residence when I stepped out the car, slowly breathing in the sweet night air, and peaceful calm all around me. After two minutes of fumbling round inside my bag for Romans keys, I began slowly making my way up to the main door with all my stuff. That's when I noticed the huge bouquet of red roses sitting on top of the porch steps ''Oh my god!'' I cried, immediately dropping my suitcase and running over to look at them...they were beautiful!

I picked up the bouquet of long stemmed red roses and sniffed them slowly....aww wow, they smell out of this world! I noticed a small pink envelope tucked inside which read Faith, so I sat on the porch steps and read it carefully

To my babygirl,

I know four months doesn't seem like a very long time, but it was enough time to make me fall in love with you, and to know without a doubt that you truly are the one and only girl I want to spend the rest of my life with. No matter what happens baby, I love you, and I will continue loving you forever and ever.

I quickly wiped away the tear that had fallen from my eye, grabbed the rest of my stuff, and hurried inside, where I called Roman immediately.

''Heeeeey babygirl! Have you reached?'' he asked happily when he picked up the phone.

''Uh-huh'' I said, still sniffling away.

''Oh my god baby what's wrong?!'' he asked in a panic.

''Nothing, I just love the roses and card you left for me so much'' I cried with happiness.

''Aww baby, your soooooo sweet'' he said, and I could hear him smiling on the other side of the phone ''...although they weren't meant to make you cry though'' he chuckled.

''No I know, it's just that I love you so much too! And I love the roses baby, thank you, they are so sweet and beautiful, and the words in the card really touched me'' I said softly.

''Well I'm glad you like it baby, and it won't be long now until we're together'' he said gently ''I miss you so damn much Faith, I really really do. I can't wait to hold you in my arms again...'' he whispered.

''I can't wait either Roman...'' I whispered back.

He was quiet for a moment, and I wondered if our cell connection had broken or something ''Roman are you there?'' I asked.

''Yes baby, I was just thinking of you is all, and a real pretty image came to mind'' he said, I could hear him smiling down the phone again.

''What image?'' I asked curiously.

''Oh just you, me....our future together''

''Oh no, no not again. Dude you're gonna see her tomorrow! I swear every time I turn around you've got that googly look in your eyes, your such a marshmallow these days bro...''

''Hey Seth!'' I shouted, while giggling out loud over his funny comment.

''Hey shut up man!'' I heard Roman saying to him, followed by what sounded like a punch on the arm ''She says 'hi' by the way...dunno why though'' he grumbled at Seth.

''Hey babe!'' I could hear Seth shouting back, and I continued giggling at them both, while missing them all so much.

''You two are crazy you know that?'' I grinned.

''He is I'm not'' Roman huffed cutely ''besides, he's just pissed 'cause Vince approached me after the show tonight, and suggested that I be the fourth man in the upcoming Fatal Fourway match to be held this upcoming Monday on RAW'' he said quietly.

''Why would he be pissed with that?'' I asked curiously.

''Because it's for the WWE championship'' he whispered.

''What?!'' I screeched in delight!

''Yeah, Hunter's gonna announce it at the start of Raw this Monday, and whoever wins, gets a chance to face Bray at Payback in a championship title match!'' he said excitedly.

''Oh my god Roman! A WWE championship opportunity? This is big baby! Oh my goodness, I'm so happy for you!!'' I gushed in delight.

''Thank you baby, that really means a lot. And even though I knew Seth would eventually find out, I think he's kinda hurt that I'm getting the push and not him, especially as I already have the United States Championship belt too''

''But you deserve it so much more'' I told him honestly, not that I discredited Seth's ability in the ring or anything, but usually in life, good things come to those who deserved it.

''I guess he doesn't see it that way. Seth's a good guy when he wants to be, but sometimes his moods put him in deep water...Vince's words not mine'' he said quickly ''Anyways, enough about that baby, now I get to concentrate on being with my girl for the next four days, and making her as happy as can be''

''You already do'' I smiled ''and I'm gonna to do the same for you too baby. So, what are you up to now?'' I asked, taking my heels off and messaging my feet on Roans cool marble flooring.

''Just dropping Seth back off at the hotel, where I'll then pack my stuff for my flight tomorrow, and maybe grab a bite to eat, before heading off to the airport in a few hours. I managed to book an early morning flight, so we can spend as much time together'' he smiled.

''Sounds amazing Roman, I really can't wait!'' I said excitedly.

''Me too baby, you have no idea just how much'' he said softly ''ok, well it's pretty late, so I guess I'll say goodnight to you now, and let you get some sleep. You remember where everything is right?''

''Yes, and thank you I'm all set. I think I'll jump in your huge tub first, before heading off to sleep...I guess I'm not used to driving so much on my own, and it's made me completely exhausted'' I chuckled

''Oh, my poor baby...well worry not, I'll give you the best massage tomorrow, as long as you need ok'' he whispered

''Don't tease a girl'' I giggled.

''You'll see baby''

''Ok, well, I guess I should let you go pack, and I'll see you tomorrow my love. Goodnight baby, I love you''

''I love you more babygirl...goodnight''

I closed the phone, then quickly opened it again to dial Paige...I guess I just needed to settle the thoughts nagging at the back of my mind, before I could fully commit to a nice relaxing evening in Romans beautiful home.

''Hey girl, how's it going? Is everything ok?'' she asked sounding worried.

''Yeah I'm good babe...why d'you ask that?'' I said.

''Well it's like two in the morning Faith, I thought maybe something was wrong?'' she said, sounding like she was trying to stifle a small yawn.

I looked down at my watch ''Oh my goodness, sorry babe, I didn't realize it was that late, or that early depending how you wanna look at it'' I giggled.

''No bother babe'' she giggled too ''so what's up? You at Romans yet?''

''Uh huh, and he left me the most beautiful bouquet of red roses too, they were waiting for me on the porch steps when I arrived'' I gushed again.

''Oh he's such a romantic! Dean never does stuff like that for me, I means he's romantic but in his own lunatic way, you know...no pun intended'' she said laughing at her own little joke ''he'll do something like use half a jar of hair gel, then leave the other half for me inside my suitcase with a little bow'' she giggled.

''Oh well that is romantic'' I teased, as I could totally see Dean doing goofy stuff like that.

''I know it sounds odd, but it works for me, and I love him the way he is'' she smiled warmly.

''Speaking off, it must have been a real nice surprise to see him tonight huh?'' I grinned, slowly reaching the crux of why I had really called her on the first place.

''What do you mean?'' she asked curiously.

''So you didn't know he was coming then?''

''Who...Dean? When?'' she asked, sounding real confused now.

''Dean wasn't with you tonight?'' I counter asked.

''Not that I'm aware of...you ok babe?'' she said, sounding even more worried now.

''Oh, you know what it is? I must still be jet lagged from the flight the other day, I never really got a good night's sleep in, and the drive down here was crazy'' I laughed nervously ''I hate reading GPS's, you know''

''Tell me about it, their like little evil robots, leading you down the road to nowhere'' she chuckled ''well, maybe you'll get a good night in at Romans before he comes over''

''Yeah I think that's a good idea. Well, goodnight babe and talk to you soon, love you, mwah!'' I said, blowing a kiss into the phone at her, before closing it shut.

ONE HOURS AND A HALF LATER....

I lay wide awake in Romans bed, just staring up at the ceiling. I should be relaxing comfortably, and enjoying Romans beautiful scent which was all around me, but instead I lay there perplexed, and irritated...what were you doing down here in Pensacola Dean, if not to visit Paige? His odd behavior of late kept playing over and over again in my mind. And the longer I lay there, the more it began to dawn on me that all three Shield members had something odd or mysterious about them. I once again let my mind travel back to the day when I first met them all down at Headquarters, and every time I did, I remembered my initial suspicions that there was defiantly more to this trio than meets the eye.

And so far I've not been proven wrong.

To be honest, out of Paige Summer and myself, I felt like the luckiest one to be dating Roman. He was the most honest and loving man I have ever known. And I knew he would never hide anything from me, or have a secret that I didn't know about.

Just then I was jolted back to serious reality when I suddenly remembered his odd behavior in the bathroom the first time I was here...hmm, maybe he did have a secret I didn't know about. Because if I remembered correctly, we were actually pressed for time, as we had to leave to meet Paige and Dean for lunch. So I never really got the chance again to see who, or even how he could have been talking to anyone in an empty room. I immediately flung back the covers and rushed over to the en-suite bathroom...
