Paul Heyman liked me sure, but maybe that's just because he and Jimmy go way back, so he trusts him...

''Ms. Melrose?''

But Stephanie is like the big boss lady, and Triple H is the CEO of the company! I mean, they could have different views of...

''Ms. Melrose?!''

''Ooohh!'' I jumped, when someone tapped me on my shoulder. I looked up to see a tall man in a suit standing over me and smiling

''Ms. Melrose, Mrs. McMahon's ready to see you now, if you follow me please'' the man said, politely ushering me his way.

GULP!

''Thank you'' I said, quickly standing up and following him down the long corridor. Every other nervous moment I've ever had in my life, paled in comparison to this. I was literally a bag of nerves right now!

I used the long walk down the corridor to quickly smooth over my outfit and hair, wanting to make the best possible impression that I could on my potential new bosses. I had taken myself on a well detailed shopping spree earlier in the week, making absolutely sure there were no last minute hiccups or wardrobe malfunctions that could derail or interfere with my time schedule, as I had an all expenses first class flight to Connecticut that I couldn't be late for. And here I was.

The look I wanted to go for was something smart and sassy, yet sophisticated and professional. So after visiting just about every single shopping mall Ohio had to offer, I managed to somwehow stumble across a cute looking boutique store hidden behind a cluster of office buildings, selling the exact perfect outfit I was looking foe, which turned out to be a stunningly elegant vintage black catsuit, made of light chiffon material which hugged effortlessly round my body, finishing off nicely with a sexy little slit up the side of each leg. I had worn my hair up in a very sleek bun, which helped elongate my body with the tall strapless heels I was wearing. Finally, I'd made myself a personalized appointment at the beauty store where I had my nails done professionally for the occasion in acrylic nude, topping it all off with natural mineral makeup, and a killer red lipstick to seal the deal.

''Here we are'' the man smiled looking at me, and I could feel my palms beginning to sweat as he knocked lightly on the door that read 'MANAGEMENT'.

''Come in'' Stephanie called.

''Go ahead'' the man said opening the door for me, and I took one last deep breath before walking inside...

''Faith'' Stephanie smiled warmly, as she quickly made her way round the large office table to greet me with a warm hand shake and polite kiss on each cheek.

''How nice to finally meet with you'' she beamed '' I've heard nothing but good things''

Wow! She wasn't at all like the character she portrayed on the show (popular to contrary belief)but in fact the exact opposite. She was so down to earth and friendly.

''Well look at you, you look wonderful!'' she gushed pleasantly at me ''Please, take a seat''

''Thank you so much Mrs. McMahon'' I beamed, taking the seat opposite hers ''And it's so nice to finally meet with you too'' I gushed back ''I still can't believe I'm here with you right now, in the actual wwe studio headquarters I'm so overwhelmed!'' I continued happily.

''Well that's very sweet, and please, call me Stephanie'' she smiled again, then looked down at her watch ''Um, Hunter seems to be running a bit late today, so typical of men right'' she said playfully rolling her eyes ''but let's not worry about him, the diva's division is my department anyway, and I want to get started on things with you right away Faith'' she continued eagerly, while resuming back inside her seat.

''Now as I mentioned in my letter, our good friend Paul Heyman recommended we meet with you. As you probably already know, Paul is one of the top promoters we have employed with us here at wwe, which means his word is golden. Paul's brought us some of the best talent we've ever had over the years, and I had no doubt in trusting him when he brought us you'' she smiled again ''having said that, we will of course need to view your talents for ourselves too, make sure that you are indeed wwe material, but I doubt that will be a problem for you Faith as you already look like your right where you want to be'' she smiled warmly.

''I AM'' I said confidently.

''Good, great actually! Now as I'm sure you're well aware, we hold what's called 'LIVE SHOWS' Wednesdays to Fridays per week, as obviously Mondays and Tuesdays are reserved for RAW and SMACKDOWN. Just to recap, the LIVE shows are un-televised events that we hold for fans, and in doing so, we set up what's called 'Dark Matches' which are matches that we test out on the fans, and based on their reactions, for example: of who we pair up together, entrance music, outfits, new talents etcetera, that better gives us the idea of how fans will react when we present it on the main show, thus helping us decide how best to set up our storylines based on overall popularity''

''Understood'' I nodded politely.

''So Faith, we've decided we're going to introduce you first to the WWE universe via one of these Live show events. You will do this for about a month or so, during which you yourself will get used to the feel of the audience, and get a comfortable flow with the talent you'll be wrestling regularly. Now usually, all talent must go through developmental first before getting called up to the main roster, but I actually have a good feeling about you Faith, a really good feeling...'' she smiled, looking me deep in thought for a few moments, while tapping her finger to her lip...''You know I just thought of something'' she said with a look of excitement in her eyes ''now, I probably shouldn't be telling you this Faith, but Hunter and I, along with our Creative time, have been trying to find someone suitable to play a major role in an existing storyline we have going on at the moment. We had someone currently on the roster in mind, but to be honest, it would be much much better if we had someone new take this role, someone not currently yet on the roster, but very soon will be'' she winked ''I say that because this role is very specific. And I gotta tell you Faith, the second I saw you, I knew you were the perfect one to fit this role! Your look is already amazing, and with immediate training, you could be ready to pull this off in no time. Would you be free as early as this week to fly down to the WWE Performance center to get started on things?'' she asked hopefully.

''Oh my god, would I?! Absolutely Mrs. McMahon! I mean Stephanie'' I smiled shyly.

''I will of course need to discuss it with my Father and Hunter first, but mainly just to hash out the finer details, as I know they'll be just as thrilled to get on board with this as I am. This means though you'll need to be trained and ready to debut on the Monday Night RAW post show after Royal Rumble. How does that sound?''

''That sounds just perfect sweetheart'' Triple H said from the doorway.

''Hunter, you're late'' Stephanie said, lightly scolding her husband as she stood up to greet him with a kiss.

''So sorry ladies'' he said putting his hands up ''business as usual'' he grinned at us both.

''Hunter, I want you to meet the newest addition to our wwe family, this is Faith. And Faith, I'd like you to formally meet my husband Hunter'' she beamed proudly.

''Triple H I know, I'm a big fan'' I beamed just as happily ''in fact I'm a big fan of both of you'' I grinned ''and just like your beautiful wife, it's truly an honor to meet you sir'' I gushed.

''Well thank you Faith'' he grinned back ''and I'm of course very honored to meet you too'' he smiled, leaning across the table with a firm handshake ''in fact Paul hasn't stopped raving about you since he returned from Ohio, and as we all know, once Paul gets an idea in his mind there's no stopping him'' he said, and he Stephanie both laughed ''but we trust him, and that's why we called you here to meet with us today. We're always happy to welcome new talent on our shows, and believe me when I say there's more talent out there than you could ever possibly imagine. But, and here's the tricky part, not all of those talents get a look in. My job, along with the other top guys round here, is to sift through the hoards of talent that have the same dream of one day becoming a wwe Superstar. That job involves going round the world on the independent circuits, talking, meeting, watching, interviewing and listening to everyone and everything, sifting through, and often rejecting, until we come across someone special enough to push wwe to new limits. Different enough to shock the world when they showcase what they can do. And most of all passionate enough to give their hearts and souls to this business. Its hard work Faith, and while I have no doubt that you will work your absolute hardest to earn your place here, I'm sure you can respect when I say we have no time for failures either. I just want you to really understand the opportunity that's before you here.''

''Hunter...'' Stephanie said quietly touching his arm ''I'm sure Faith already knows just what an opportunity this is''

Still keeping eye contact with me, he said to Stephanie ''I know sweetheart, but I need Faith to understand what's expected of her'' and Stephanie just nodded as Hunter continued on ''Time is money Faith. When we have a new talent, we immediately have to start marketing and promoting him or her in all fields of the business, fields such as merchandise, public appearances, television appearances, radio etc. We invest a lot of money into each and every one our talents, so it might seem like I'm being a bit harsh here, but you need to know if you fail, the business fails. And were in the business of making money. This of course works both ways, you yourself can make a lot of money here too Faith, but only if you do it right. Now I've seen countless Superstars over the years throw everything down the toilet, everything that we have invested in them, and everything they have invested in themselves. And believe me when I say it is not pleasant. Now I've said this a million times before in my career, and no doubt I will say it again, but those who don't learn from history are absolutely doomed to repeat it. There's a reason why I'm still here, why I'm still standing strong after so many years in this business, and no it's not 'cause I married the bosses daughter-contrary to popular belief'' he chuckled ''it's because over the years I took the time to learn from the mistakes I made, and I made sure I never repeated them. I took the time to understand what it takes to maintain self-preservation, and to dig up that inner strength when you're at your lowest. I learnt first-hand how to overcome pain, both physical and mental. How to break through barrier after barrier until you make it to the top. How to never, give, up. And I never have. If this is truly your dream Faith, then I encourage you to follow it, and I promise you if you stay on the right path and remain focused at all times, you will be every bit as successful as you want to be. Don't? Then prepare to be swallowed up by the business and taken down by the next talent in line behind you. You're in good hands with us Faith, and I hope to continue that way. Your salary will be that of a Superstar, and the more you grow, the more your salary does. I will have Stephanie draw up a contract for you, feel free to look it over with a lawyer before you sign with us, but on a lighter note Faith...WELCOME TO THE WWE'' he finished with a warm smile me.

WOW... what a speech! And a damn good one too! He made every bit of sense, and I absolutely respected him for it.

''I understand completely'' I said honestly ''I want nothing more than to give you my absolute best night after night. I'm aware you're giving me an opportunity like no other. And I promise I will not let you down'' I smiled, looking at them the same way I was feeling...confident.

They both smiled respectfully at me.

''So Faith, I guess we'll see you next week down in Florida at the Performance Centre'' Hunter said, standing up from his chair and ''I'll make sure you have best personal trainer while you're there. And I'll arrange for overnight accommodation and all food expenses paid by the company'' Hunter said, shaking my hand again ''Congratulations once again Faith, and welcome to the team'' he smiled.

I was so silly with excitement right now that I wanted to jump from the rooftops and tell the world I'd made it! But I stayed professional and shook his hand back with a warm smile.

''Thank you again Faith for coming to meet with us today, I do look forward to working with you'' Stephanie said, embracing me in warm hug, before opening up the door to let me out.
