"Addison, wake up. it's 7:30 am!" someone shouted shacking my leg, I forcefully removed my leg a turned the other side of my bed but the person continued shaking me.

"What now?" I asked as I opened my eyes angrily.

"Today is school" the person replied as left immediately, I couldn't see the person clearly because the room was dark and my cottons were closed.

School? School!

"WHAT!" I shouted as I ran out of my room for the bathroom, had my shower and wore my well ironed school uniform which is a white long sleeve and blue plain skirt with a blue tie.

Today is the first day at senior high after summer break, I can't believe that it's just remaining a year before moving to college.

I picked up my bag and stormed to the living room "Good morning mom. " I greeted kissing her cheeks.

"Morning love, are you ready?" she asked as she kept my food on the dinning table. "Do you want breakfast?"

"Nah, I'm good" I said as I turned to see Angela and Joan eating.

What Joan doing here?

"Joan, you are here." I said confused.

"Yeah, any problem? I slept over." she said standing up to drop her plate in the kitchen.

Oh, yeah she slept over and didn't wake me up.

"But you didn't wake me up, why?" I asked as I followed her to the kitchen.

"I'm not your boyfriend nor your alarm clock" she replied laughing and ended with a long hiss.

"Let's go to school, I don't wanna be late. Bye Mrs. Cynthia, thanks for the breakfast." she said as she took her school bag walking towards the door.

"Bye Mom, Angela let's go!" I shouted and we all left the house for the bus stop.

Max's POV

I woke up to the song my stupid alarm played, "School" I hissed as I stood up from my bed and dashed into the shower, wore my school uniform and brushed my hair.

"Why do I have to wear a tie? I'm not working in an office or something" I said as I tossed the tie into my school bag.

"Max are you ready?" my annoying brother Kelvin said as he entered my room.

Are you that blind?

"As you can see, I'm ready and don't you knock?" I replied and left the the room.

"I don't have time for this, let's get going. Remember this is a new school, please behave well for mom and dad" he said with concern as backed his school bag like a nerd, only that he doesn't wear glasses.

Wow, I'm the son who disgraces his family in public.

"What do you mean? so I'm the one who disgraces our family image in public" I asked angrily.

"You know that's not what I meant." he said as he entered the kitchen.

"Let's get going!" I yelled angrily at him as I left the house for the car park.

We entered the car and drove off for school. When we arrived, as we got down from the car all the girls were just starring at ME not my brother blushing, I'm HOT not my fault. We went to the Receptionist's office, she introduced us to our various class teachers.

Thank goodness, I'm not in the same class with him.

My brother and I don't have the best brotherly bond, I've hated him and everyone around me since we were little.

ADDISON's POV

We finally arrived at school after about 55 minutes ride because of the traffic, we went to the receptionist to know our class, timetable and subject scheme.

Angela went to her class Grade 10 while Joan and I went to our class Grade 12. As we entered the classroom which was the only class at the left all the girls ran to us.

"Did you see the two new students?" one asked shaking me.

Who?

"No, why?" I asked confused.

"I pray that they should be in our class." another girl said kneeling on the floor with her arms together looking up at the ceiling.

"What's happening?" Joan stupidly asked me.

"Didn't we come to school together, how should I know?" I replied angrily.

What I hate most in this world is stupid question and sadly people who are close to me do that a lot.

"SETTLE DOWN EVERYBODY!" a teacher shouted and we all ran back to our sits.

Joan and I ran to our seat together which was the middle row, I sat in the middle while Joan sat down beside my left.

"Who are you saving that sit for?" I asked confused because she keep her book on the last seat to prevent people from sitting there which means she's saving it for someone.

"For Michael, he asked me to keep a sit for him that he'll be late and he specifically said I should save one beside you." she replied winking and smiling at me. Before I could reply the teacher hit the table to get our attention.

"Welcome to grade 12 science, I know this is your last year at this school but you are still students of Faith Academy international school so you still have to follow the school rules and regulations, I don't want to receive bad report about you guys, OK" he said walking round the class with a serious look.

Why? I don't like serious form teacher. They take little things serious.

"OK SIR!" we all shouted in unison.

"Good. We have a new student, please come in." he said as he looked outside the class door.

Next thing was that Max my new neighbor walked in wearing our school uniform, immediately all the girls started blushing, some were just saying " He is so hot and dreamy" while the boys just starred at him and hissed after 20 seconds.

Oh this is the new student they were talking about earlier.

"KEEP QUIET!" The teacher shouted and we all obeyed

"Ok, introduce yourself to the class"

"I'm Max, I just moved here." he said shortly without a smile.

"Is that all you have to say?" the teacher asked looking confused because a normal person would say more about themselves.

"Yes" he replied.

Geez, he is even rude in school, he thinks he looks hot and fresh when he acts like that, I'm sure everyone hates him now. I don't like him, I thought.

"Ok, go sit over there." the teacher said pointing at the sit beside me which was Michael's seat according to Joan.

"Sir, someone is sitting here already." Joan opposed.

"Where is he?" The teacher asked.

"His not here yet but he'll still show up." Joan replied.

Why is she backing him up?

"Well, when he comes he should sit at the back" he said.

Max walked towards and sat down next to me, I was a little uncomfortable but the annoying thing was that he didn't even say a word or act like we knew each other but I DON'T CARE.

"Ok, that's all and my name is Mr. john, I'm your form teacher for this year, see you guys later." he said with a smile and walked out of the class. Immediately all the students ran to Max.

"Move away!" someone yelled pushing everyone. They all went back to their seats sad.

I know that annoying voice, I thought angrily.

"Hello, I'm Diamond," Diamond said reaching out her hand to Max. He just ignored her and brought out his phone.

What's him with this phone?

"WHAT! DID YOU JUST IGNORED ME?!" she asked angrily.

"Yeah, any problem. please leave you are too noisy" Max said as he put on his head phone.

All the students including me just starred at him with our mouths opened, no dares talk to Diamond like that, her dad is almond the richest men in Lagos and owns many hotels and restaurants both here and abroad.

Well, I honestly like the way he replied to Diamond that girl deserves it, I thought with a little smile on my face.

"Fine but you'll regret what you just did!" she yelled and walked back to her sit angrily with her two slaves following her.
