She is seen as having a nurturing attitude and being courteous, upbeat, independent, incredibly kind, and altruistic. Although she does not harbor any resentment toward those who wronged her, she can occasionally take a while to become enraged if someone presses her buttons too far.

Damari can, however, be a little obstinate and feisty. The Ghost Pony and her name represents strength and resilience because of its strong connection to powerful and influential women of the past. It carries a sense of elegance and grace, and is associated with luck, fortune, protection, and intelligence.

Her pet pony will be introduced in one of the episodes once the Season 1 comes out. I was thinking of her saving the pony from being sold to the highest bidder. Plus, she's based on the comic "Vamplets - The Legend of the Ghost Pony".

Background:

Donna and Asani Valor only had one child, Damari, when she was born. The three of them led quite contented lives and frequently went on family trips. When she was younger, she yearned to learn how to knit after watching her mother do it. Her mother instructed her on how to knit for garments, socks, or animals. She even showed Damari the film "Coraline," whose narrative and other aspects left her speechless. In particular, on the layout and attire. At that point, she starts to realize that becoming a designer is what she was meant to do. She began to see additional films starring Laika and their puppetry.

Her father, who was once associated with the gang before meeting her mother, taught her how to defend herself. He would show her how to operate a rifle and how to aim when they had some father-daughter time. Even better, he enrolled her in a martial arts class. She needs to learn how to defend herself as well as how to shoot a pistol. In order for her to protect herself and the people she cared about, he asked her to do this.

During her first year of middle school, she met Marceline, who was a member of a dangerous street gang. Damari invited her over to her house after learning about the admiration for her father as the Destroyer of Foes. Marceline, however, was disappointed that Asani had transformed into a devoted parent and she rejected both Damari and Asani since their affection made her think of the mistreatment from her single father.

Despite Marceline's stern demeanor, Damari persisted in trying to help her and even prevented her from being attacked by other gang members by taking her back to her house. Marceline would gradually come to appreciate the nurturing atmosphere she had never known, spending more time with Damari, Asani, and Donna, whom Damari had introduced to her. Damari genuinely valued her friendship with Marceline despite the doubts of their peers. Asani assisted Marceline in leaving her group, and after doing so, she eloquently announced that she wanted to be Damari's best friend and a rock star guitarist. Since then, Marceline and Damari have been together constantly and are frequently criticized for being an unusual two individuals.

Bonnibel joined Damari's class as she entered the eighth grade. Damari joyfully reached out to Bonnibel over lunch and handed her some extra food while the majority of the class disregarded her due to her intelligence. Later, Bonnibel was invited to sit with Damari and Marceline, and despite Bonnibel's reservations, the two girls welcomed her as a friend. Damari said to Bonnibel that she still liked her and wanted to stay friends with her despite learning that she planned to run a bake shop rather than pursue a career in science. She also encouraged Bonnibel not to withdraw, while Marceline advised her not to make assumptions or overthink things. They both advised her to follow her heart and her desire of becoming a baker. As a result, Bonnibel and Damari became close emotional friends. She also discovered love with Marceline when the two started dating. The three girls were able to lean on one another for support and grew to be best friends for life.

But on her 25th birthday, Damari came across a cat with one eye named KeeKee who was injured and she took a great care for her until she was cast into Hell. She was both horrified and shocked by this. She was lucky to come across some demons who were kind enough to take her in and are willing to bring her back home. She is willing to help develop the hotel so that the demons can come and get themselves fixed up for Heaven as payment for the favor. She also needs to figure out the mystery surrounding the black music box that led her here.
