[Location: United States - Washington D.C.]

An airplane belonging to the president is seen flying through the air as couple of gunshots are heard inside. Three security officers are fending off the undead as they're confused on how the undead got on the plane in the fire place.

Security 1#: Shit! The head! Aim for the head! Dammit!

Security 2#: Who the hell let these things on?!

Security 1#: The First Lady has been bitten!

In another room located inside the plane, the chairman can be seen arguing with the president as it can be seen that the both of them are bitten already and don't have much time left.

Chairman: Mr.President! Please enter the code!

President: I can't....

Chairman: But You and I have both been bitten! Please listen. We don't even have anywhere to land! This is why we must suppress every country that is pointing ICBM's at the USA while we still can! Aside from officially announcing National State of Emergency Tactical Regulation 666D, we have no way of fulfilling our duty to both the constitution and the people!

The Chairman started coughing up blood signifying that his end is near.

Security: Mr. Chairman!

Chairman: I'm done for. Someone, please... end it.

Security: Yes sir!

The security guard aim his gun at the Chairman ready to shoot. The Chairman looks back at the president one more time.

Chairman: Mr.President... The code... God bless... the United States...

The president says his farewell to the Chairman before he was put down. Zooming out from the plane, Washington D.C. can be seen in chaos and on fire as chaos and disorder run rampant in the streets.

[Location: Japan - Onbetsu Bridge]

By the next morning, the sun has risen and everything seems to be calm for now at least. In the river, the Humvee is driving through the riverbank with Ms. Shizuka behind the wheel while Saya, Takashi, and Hirano are watching the area for any sign of survivors or undead that may be roaming around the area.

Takashi: Any sign of living or dead?

Saya: Nope.

Hirano: Nothing. It seems quite, today. Too quiet to be precise actually.

Saya: That I don't like at all. It means they could pop out of nowhere. Keep an eye out for anything moving.

Hirano/Takashi: Got it!

Inside the vehicle, Y/n, Rei, and Saeko can be seen sleeping in the back of the Humvee with Miku, Kawamoto, and Taniuchi sleeping under a blanket beside the group supplies. As they continued there drive threw the river, Hirano and Alice began singing nursery rhymes which annoys Saya a bit.

Hirano/Alice: Row, row, row your boat. Gently down the stream. Row, row, row your boat. Gently down the stream...

Hirano: I can even sing in English.

Alice: Wow! Try singing it.

Hirano: Okay, this time, I'll sing a parody.

Alice: Okay.

Hirano: Hehe. Shoot, Shoot, Shoot your gun. Kill them all right now. Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Life is but a scream! Hahahaha!

Alice: Wow, Hirano-chan!

Saya: Hey, fatty! Don't teach kids inappropriate songs! That song is from Mother Goose, you know!

Hirano: Kaaay.

Takashi: Besides Hirano, I don't think Y/n will be happy that Alice is learning those type of songs from a young age.

Saya looked back down to see Y/n was still asleep with Rei sleeping beside him and Saeko resting her head on his lap. Giving a cute pout in jealousy before going back to surveillance.

Shizuka: Guys, wake up! It's about time we crossed the river.

Rei woke up first to see Y/n was still sleeping and she smiled with a small blush on her face. She then looks down seeing a certain someone sleeping on his lap, her expression changed into a jealous smirk.

Moment sooner, the Humvee made it on land as Saya scan the area feeling confused of the lack of anyone.

Saya: There's no one here. Living or otherwise.

Takashi: It like you said Hirano.

Hirano: Yeah...

Rei pulls Y/n right cheek to wake him up causing him to yell out in pain.

Y/n: Ow?! What was that for?!

Rei: I bet you're enjoying that.

Y/n: What are you- Whoa!

Y/n sentence was cut off as he looked down to see Saeko sleeping on his lap. Saeko started waking up from the sudden movement while she has a stream of drool on her mouth.

Saeko: What? Huh?

Y/n: Uhm, Saeko-san.

Rei: Good morning! You're drooling.

Saeko blushed in embrassment, wiping the drool off of her mouth quickly. Y/n noticed that both Rei and Saeko are still half naked. And tries his best not to stare too much at their bodies.

Y/n: Let's get out.

Rei: Why?

Y/n: Er, well, the sun is up. I thought you'd wanna get changed. You don't want to go walking around dressed like that...

He said while blushing, Rei noticed his blush and looks down seeing what he meant as she blush in embarrassment. Everyone start getting out of the humvee and began to stretch after their long rest.

Hirano start lowering down Alice to Takashi as she's holding on to her dress in embarrassment.

Hirano: Komuro, come help me. Let's get Alice-chan down.

Alice: Uhm... Uhm My undies

Takashi: Huh?

Y/n facepalm himself because of Takashi idiotic. And called out to Rei for help.

Y/n: Hey, Rei! Mind taking Alice with you with the other girls to get changed.

Rei sees what he meant and nods to him taking Alice from Hirano.

Rei: This is why men... Look, we're going to be changing, so don't you dare look over here!

Y/n then remembered something that he forgot to ask.

Y/n: Hold on! Before you do that, Rei. I want to talk with Miku, Kawamoto, and Taniuchi about something important. I need you three to come with me for a bit

Miku/Kawamoto/Taniuchi: Ok.

Y/n: I'll be back Hirano, Takashi.

Hirano/Takashi: Got it.

Y/n pulled the three girls aside to speak with them privately next to the Humvee.

Miku: You said you wanted to speak with us, Y/n.

Taniuchi: I hope we didn't do anything wrong.

Kawamoto: We didn't, right...?

Y/n: Oh no, is not that! None of you are in trouble or anything. I just forgot to ask you girls about something yesterday and you were already asleep before I've remembered what it was.

Kawamoto: So, what's the question?

Y/n: Do any of you three have any experience with using guns or using melee weapons by any chance.

Miku: Not really.

Taniuchi: No.

Y/n: What about martial arts or any self defense skills for close combat.

Kawamoto: No, sorry.

Y/n: How about medical skill or anything that can be helpful for the group.

Miku/Kawamoto/Taniuchi: No.

Y/n: Hmm... this could be a problem.

Taniuchi: Please Y/n, we may not have any skills in these categories but we can learn! Please don't abandon us.

Y/n: Take it easy, Miku. I'm not going to abandon any of you three. I just need time to thing on what you three can do for the group because everybody has to pull their weight around on helping the group.

Kawamoto: We'll do anything. Anything!

Y/n: Hmm... I got an idea you three can help. Miku, Taniuchi, Kawamoto, you three will be with Shizuka for support in the meantime. Considering your lack experience in firearms and melee weapons, Hirano, Rei, and Saeko will give a step by step on how to defend yourself when we have time. You'll also be responsible on gathering supplies and reloading clips along with being in charge on keeping watch of Alice. If things start to look bad or getting out of hand by any chance, you're job is to take Alice and yourselves somewhere safe until I or anyone else from the group come to find you. The three of you understand, what I'm saying?

Miku: Yes, we can do that.

Taniuchi: Thank you, Y/n!

Kawamoto: We promise to do our best!

Y/n: I know you will. Now, go get changed with the other girls. Your job begins as soon as we hit the road.

The white dog from last night started barking by Y/n's feet.

Takashi picks up Zero as he wags his tail.

Hirano: Exactly so listen up! After you shove the shotshells in, get your target in sight, press the trigger, and blow off their head. Just stick to hitting things that're nearby, since you haven't had any practice.

Takashi: What do I do when I run out?

Hirano: Open the gate like this and push them in like so. Normally, it holds four shells plus one shell in the chamber. Only five total can be in at a time, so use them wisely. Aside from that, another peculiar thing about this gun is

Y/n was in for a surprise on what he saw, Takashi and Hirano came into view seeing what Y/n is looking at. The girls were finally done changing as Rei was wearing half of her uniform with a green thigh high skirt, with elbow and knee pads, with a bayonet rifle. Saeko was also wearing half of her uniform with a thigh-high black skirt with cuts on the sides, with black leggings and black military boots. Saya was wearing a black shirt with a white coat overtop with her green school shirt. Shizuka was wearing a white shirt with an orange miniskirt. Alice was in her normal attire with Miku, Taniuchi, and Kawamoto in their uniforms.

Y/n: Whoa...

Rei smirk at Y/n expressions liking the reaction.

Rei: What? Gotta problem?

Y/n: No, you look amazing.

Rei: Thanks, Y/n~

Takashi notice what Rei is holding.

Takashi Do you know how to fire that thing?

Rei: Hirano or Y/n can teach me. If I have to, I'll use it like a spear.

Hirano: Youcanyoucanyoucan! We have a military-use bayonet device!

Saya: We're going up in the Humvee! You three men, go see if it's safe!

Y/n /Hirano/Takashi: YES MA'AM!

Y/n, Takashi, and Kohta climbed to the top of the embankment. When they reached the top with their guns drawn. They heard or saw no one in the streets.

Hirano: Clear.

Takashi: Same here.

Y/n goes back to tell them it okay to come up.

Y/n: It's okay!

Rei: Shizuka-sensei.

Shizuka: Here we go!

Shizuka drove up the Humvee up the hill almost hitting Hirano.

Hirano: The Rat Patrol... Ah!

The rest of the girls follow behind, climbing up the hill as Saya take out the binoculars to look around the area.

Saya: It doesn't look like they tried to block the river.

Saeko: As the news broadcast said, it is like this all throughout the world.

Rei: But I'm sure there are some police officers left.

Saya: Right. Japan's police officers are all about their work.

Rei: Yeah! Wait...

Shizuka: What do we do now?

Y/n: Saya, aren't you from Higashisaka 2-chome?

Saya: Yeah.

Y/n: Then Takagi's house is the closest. It looks like we're going to your house first. But, uhm...

Saya: Yeah, I know I'm not expecting anything. But, I still want to...

Y/n: Of course you do. We made this far, I bet they're still alive. And I bet you're father and mother are causing trouble for the undead as we speak.

Saya smile at Y/n feelings reassure from him.

Saya: Ok, Y/n. I believe you... Oh! I almost forgot.

Saya goes back to the Humvee as she pulls out Y/n leather jacket and hand it back to him.

Saya: Here's your jacket back and thanks for covering me with it last night.

She said with a blush as Y/n takes it back and puts it on.

Y/n: You're welcome, Saya. And I hope you felt safe when you were asleep.

Saya: I did feel safe... *thought* Because it felt you were there by my side to keep me safe.

Later....

The Humvee can be seen driving down an empty street, passing by empty buildings and cars. Alice, Kohta, Takashi, Saeko, Saya, Miku, Kawamoto, and Taniuchi were inside the vehicle with Ms. Shizuka driving.

Alice: There's so many big bikes!

Hirano: They sell stuff like imported buggies there. Some of them were trashed by the military.

Alice: Really.

Saya: Why do you know all of this?

Meanwhile, Y/n and Rei were up on the roof as they look the surrounding as they go. Rei notice Y/n is on edge and was concerned.

Rei: What's wrong?

Y/n: We haven't seen any helicopters or airplanes. But yesterday, we saw so many of them.

Rei: Everything will be all right, won't it?

Y/n: Yeah, definitely.

Rei: Hey, Y/n. Did you notice?

Y/n: Notice what?

Rei: We haven't seen any of them today.

Y/n: That's true.

Y/n decides to lay back down as he closes his eyes enjoying the quite for a moment until it was suddenly interrupted.

Hirano: It's them! Ahead and to the right! Distance: 300!

Y/n and Rei look ahead to see a small pack of undead in their way.

Saya: Turn right!

Shizuka: Okay!

She turned right only to find more of them blocking their way.

Shizuka: They're here too! Jeez!

Saya: Then turn left! Left!

Shizuka turned left and drove down another road.

Y/n: What the- We're seeing more and more of them as we get closer to Higashisaka 2-chome.

Rei: But why? There must be a reason why!

Seeing more undead up-ahead down the road, Saya tells Shizuka to run them down.

Saya: Run them down and don't lose speed!

Y/n: Rei, get down!!

Y/n covers Rei head and get down as Shizuka began running over the undead. As they got closer, Rei saw something in the middle of the road.

Rei: No! Don't! Stop the car! Stop the car!!

Everyone inside was confused by Rei yelling until Saeko something up ahead.

Saeko: Stop! A wire is affixed to the walls! Turn the car to the side!

As Shizuka turns to the side, the humvee crashes into the horde, splattering blood on it's windows.

Hirano: Don't look!

Shizuka tries step on the break but find it difficult to make the vehicle stop.

Shizuka: Why won't it stop?!

Hirano: Lock the tires! Just ease up a little on the brake and step on the gas!

Shizuka: Lock?

Saya: Hey, Sensei! Up front! The front!

Shizuka saw they were heading for a wall and she pushed down hard on the break pedal. But, Rei was thrown off the Humvee!

Y/n: Rei!!!

Y/n tries to reach for Rei's hand, but he couldn't reach her. She bounced off the roof of the humvee and hit the concrete, hard. The undead were moving in on them, but they were all walking towards Rei.

Y/n: Hold on, Rei!! Hirano my backpack!

Hirano: Here!

Hirano tosses Y/n's backpack to him as he pulls out an assault rifle.

Jumping off the Humvee, he stand in front of Rei as he points his gun at the undead.

Rei: Y/n!

Y/n: Stay away from her, you fucking undead bastards!

Then pulling the trigger and mowing down couple of undead. As Y/n began killing the undead, Takashi and Hirano came out of the humvee and started helping Y/n with killing the undead.

Takashi: Open the slide Aim for the head. And fire!

Takashi: What? But I aimed for the head!

Hirano: I didn't hit many of them! You're a lousy shot!

Y/n: The recoil's raising your muzzle, and your fire pattern's slipping upwards!

Hirano: Hold the gun straight and aim at their chest!

Takashi: Hold the gun straight! Aim at their chest And fire!

Takashi does what he was told and started landing hits with the shotgun.

Takashi: Woah, cool. But there's too many of them....

Y/n: It doesn't matter! Just keep shooting before they get too close to the Humvee!

Y/n shoots down of couple more undead before reloading.

Hirano: After firing a shot, leave the trigger and just open the slide! The muzzle shifts a little!

Takashi shoots two more undead, now getting the hang of it.

Takashi: This owns!

As they continue shooting, Takashi had to reload but he dropped all of his bullets.

Takashi: Crap, bullets! Shit!

Y/n: Komuro-kun! Take this opportunity to rescue Rei!

Saeko steps out of the vehicle holding her wooden sword.

Saeko: Y/n, I shall assist you!

Takashi: Are you crazy!? There's too many of them for you to fight with a wooden sword!

Saeko: Just get the girl...

Y/n: Takashi! Just focus on getting Rei inside the Humvee!

Kawamoto then hands Hirano some ammo as Miku got out of the vehicle quickly to give Y/n ammo before going back inside.

Kawamoto: Hirano, take some more bullets!

Miku: Y/n! Here's more ammo!

Hirano/ Y/n: Thanks!

Both Y/n and Hirano reloaded their guns and shot more of the undead in their way as Saeko hit the ones that got too close with her sword.

Takashi: Dammit!

Takashi tries to grab the shotgun shells but they keep slipping away. Getting back up, sees that their surrounded as Y/n, Saeko, and Hirano continue killing undead left and right.

Takashi: Well, at least we can die together.

Takashi rush toward Rei pulling her into embrace.

Rei: Takashi?

Until he remembered that Rei still has her rifle.

Takashi: Of course! Sorry about this, Rei!

Rei: Huh?

Grabbing the rifle from her, he ended up using her rifle and her chest as support for his accuracy.

Takashi: Hirano! How do I use this?

Hirano: Push the lever in front of the trigger guard! Then disengage the safety! After, pull the operating rod on the right side! And shoot!

Following Hirano instructions, Takashi start shooting off rounds at the undead only end up missing each one.

Takashi: Dammit! Missed! Missed! Missed!

Y/n: Takashi stop wasting bullets! And stay focus! We don't have that many ammo with us!

Y/n shoot another undead before hitting another one with the back of his rifle.

Hirano: My magazine! Someone get me one of these from the back!

Alice: Kohta-chan?

Hirano: I need something like this!

Alice looks around until spotting the magazines near Zero.

Alice: Hirano-chan! Here!

Alice hands the magazines to Hirano as he grabs them from her and reloads.

Hirano: Time to kill! I'll kill 'em all!

Shizuka tries turning on the Humvee but it won't turn on.

Shizuka: What the? The engine's stalled and I can't start it!

Saya get out of her seat and goes toward the door.

Shizuka: What're you doing, Takagi-san?!

Saya: I'm going to pick up Komuro's gun and use it!

Miku: T-That's dangerous!

Kawamoto: You're going to get yourself killed!

Saya: Yes, I know.

Shizuka: Takagi-san!

Saya stepped out of the Humvee and picks up Takashi's gun.

Hirano: The bullets are by your feet! Do you know how to use it?

Saya: I'm a genius!

Takashi: Takagi?

Saya: Relax, I know what I'm doing...

An undead appeared in Saya's face and Saeko saved her by hitting it and orange liquid got on her.

Saya: Look at me! This is Dolce & Gabbana!!

Saya loaded the shotgun and started firing.

Saya: Take that ya fashion backwards douchebags!! I'm not a coward! I'm not a coward! I'm not gonna die! None of us are gonna die here! My house is just around the corner! Dammit!!!

One hour later...

Over an hour has passed, everyone's ammo started to run low and the undead horde showed no signs of ending. Then, Zero jumped out of the humvee and started biting at the undead.

Alice: Zero!

Y/n lowered his rifle as couldn't help but smiled at Zero bravery. Dropping both his assault rifle and backpack to the ground then pulling out his knife and pistol. He walked passed Takashi, Rei, and Saya.

Takashi: W-What are you doing, Y/n?

Y/n: What else? I'm following Zero example.

Saya: A-Are you serious? Have you gone mad!

Y/n: Maybe or maybe not. All I know is that these undead fuckers won't stop coming until something get their attention away from here. So, why not draw their attention on something else...

Rei: Y-Y/n, what are you saying!?

Y/n doesn't answer her question but says something to Takashi.

Y/n: Hey Takashi, look after everyone if I don't make it out of this. Ok...

Takashi: What... I don't get it. What are you getting at? Don't tell me you're....

Y/n: It's been fun while it lasted... it was great knowing you all. Take care and if you manage to find my parents... tell them I'm sorry.

Y/n start moving forward at the horde as Rei, Takashi, and Saya eyes widen in horror of the realization.

Saya: Y/n, Stop! Don't do this!

Takashi: Don't be crazy about this!

Rei: Please come back! We can find another way! Y/n!!

However, Y/n ignore there cries of their pleads as he continue forward.

Y/n: Sorry everybody...

An undead march forward launching at Y/n only to be stabbed in the head then kicked away by him.

Y/n: Come on! You undead fuckers!

Y/n continues mowing down one undead after another. And each one he kills, another one pops up. But no matter how many times he keep stabbing and shooting, it shows no end of the horde growing numbers.

Y/n: So many of them but... I can't stop... have to keep moving.

Moving even further inside the horde, he continues stabbing and shooting until...

*click*

Y/n: Shit...

One of the undead grab him from behind and bite down his shoulder.

Y/n: AH!!!!

Rei/Saya/Takashi/Hirano/Miku/Kawamoto/Taniuchi/Shizuka/Alice: Y/n/Onii Chan!!

Y/n quickly stab it in the head but the undead grip pulls him down as horde descends upon him. Everyone back at the Humvee can only watch in horror at the scenery.

Rei: Please no... not again. Please, not again!!

Saya: Y/n! Please keep fighting! Don't die on me!

Shizuka: Leave him alone! Leave my darling alone, I'm begging you!

Alice: Onii Chan! Please fight! I don't want to lose you! Big brother!

Hirano: Come on, Y/n! Get up!

Takashi: Fight Y/n! You have to win!

Miku/Kawamoto/Taniuchi: You have to live, Y/n!

Y/n couldn't hear any of them as the undead blocks all the noises. He's trying his best to hold them off but their strength is starting to overwhelm him.

Y/n: *thought* This can't be the end of me!

As he hold the undead back, out of nowhere some of them are send flying away by Saeko herself. Saeko bashes the undead skull open that was trying to take a bite and rescuing Y/n.

Saeko: Come with me, Y/n!

Y/n: Thanks for the save, Saeko!

Saeko sweep kicked another undead and picked up her sword.

Saeko: Y/n, go! I'll be right behind you!

Y/n took out the empty clip from his pistol and plunged it inside a undead head before making a run for it with Saeko.

Y/n: Don't stop! Keep going!

Saeko hits a pipe attracting the undead to her.

Saeko: Come this way!

The undead started following them then as they start attracting them by the noise.

Saeko: Y/n!

Y/n: Up here! Come on!

Saeko and Y/n both made it to a nearby staircase and ran up to see they attracted most of them. However, there were still too many close to the Humvee.

Saeko: They are still?

Y/n yell out to the undead in frustration.

Y/n: I SAID COME OVER HERE!

Back at the Humvee, Hirano is seen trying to get Alice, Miku, Kawamoto, and Taniuchi to the other side of the wire.

Hirano: Here you go.

Alice: Hirano-chan?

Hirano: You, Miku, Kawamoto, Taniuchi, and Zero need to jump to the other side of the wire!

Alice: But what about everyone else?

Hirano: We'll be there shortly!

Alice: Liar.

Hirano: Huh?

Alice: You have the same face my daddy had when he died! He died even though he said he was okay! No! No! No! I don't wanna be alone! I wanna be with you, Takashi, Onii chan and the girls forever! Forever and ever and ever! Don't leave me alone! Please! Please!

Miku looks back at Kawamoto and Taniuchi feeling saddened of the situation they're in.

Miku: Girls... I... We...

Kawamoto: W-We made a promise to Y/n.

The three of them hug each other as they're force to make a tough decision.

???: Get the latter! Get them out of there now!

Just then, a group of people in firefighter uniforms were on the other side of the wire and they started blasting the undead with fire extinguishers. Y/n and Saeko look on in shocked.

???: Come this way immediately. You can pick up that car later

As Saya carry Rei to the other side of the wire, she looks at the firefighter in front of her.

Saya: That voice...

Y/n and Saeko still look on confused.

Y/n: Who are they?

Saeko: I do not believe they are really from the fire department.

Everyone from Humvee made it to the other safely as Shizuka bows to the person who saved them.

Shizuka: Thanks for rescuing us when we were in danger!

???: It's only natural. For a mother to help her daughter and her friends.

Removing her helmet, it's revealed to be none other than Saya's mother.

Saya ran and hugged her mother as she cries in joy.

Y/n: It Saya's mom! They're saved!

Saeko: However, our situation, on the other hand, does not bode well. I do not believe they will come help us.

Y/n: Let's take a detour. I know my way around this area.

Y/n and Saeko leave the area as the team was saved by Mrs. Takagi.

Rei: Y/n...

Alice: Hirano-chan?

Hirano: Don't worry. Busujima-sempai is strong, and Y/n is one stubborn guy.

Saya pulls out her walkie talkie, but notice it broke during the crash so she runs and yells to Y/n, hoping she can reach him.

Saya: We'll be waiting! We'll be waiting at my house!

Y/n and Saeko both heard Saya and proceed to jump of a small building and run into the streets killing any undead that's gets in their way.

Y/n: *thought* Despite the situation we found ourselves in, I kept my head held high. Because after all of the fights and fighting, we were still alive.
