It was a rainy night and Shido can be heard giving a speech back at the bus as every student inside just listened to his nonsense. Eating up every word of it that comes out of his mouth as someone from outside is banging on the door begging to be let back in. Being a student that was part of Shido's group before he was kicked out of the bus for talking back to him.

Shido: This corrupt world shall perish in its own sins! But you are all different! You, pure youths are not part of the corruption! You are the angels who shall carry the new world! I am but an impure adult, incomparable to the rest of you. But I pray that by being with you all, my past sins will be forgiven! Please, everyone, show me the way! Show me the world that exists beyond this chaos!

Yamada: H-Help me, Sensei! Please! I won't talk back again! Please help!

But it was too late for the student as he was surrounded by the undead by of all the loud noises, he was making leading him to be attack and eaten alive as Shido gave one final line to his group.

Shido: Come, let us make our hearts as one!

Everyone in the bus claps for Shido as the screams and suffering of the unlucky student is heard in the background.

Back at the Takagi Estate...

Y/n is seen back inside the bathroom as he feels his head throbbing in pain once again but this time unable to hold himself together at this point as the black veins started spreading even further throughout his body than before.

Y/n: Guh! Ah! It hurts! What the fuck is going on?

Trying his best to keep himself steady and standing, he looks back at the mirror seeing both of his eyes have turned red this time.

Y/n: Why... Why is happening to me?

Suddenly he heard the door knocking as Saya called him from the other side sounding concern.

Saya: Y/n is everything ok in there?

Y/n: I-I'm fine, Saya... it's nothing to worry about...

Saya: Are you sure? You sound like you're in pain.

Y/n: I-It's just a stomachache... nothing to worry about... AH!

Saya: Y/n!?

Saya tries to open the door but find it locked as Y/n began to panic.

Y/n: D-Don't come in! Please everything is fine, Saya.

Saya: Then what was that loud noise I heard!? Because it doesn't sound like to me that you're ok!

Y/n: Please, Saya... just don't open the door... everything is fine... I promise...

Saya: ....Y/n just tell me what's going on with you. You seemed fine since yesterday... so what's wrong?

Y/n: I understand your concern about me since we learned that we were destined to get married someday... but you don't need to act the part if you feel uncomfortable about it.

Saya immediately open the door but gasp in horror when she saw Y/n the state he's in. Rushing to his side as she sees all the black veins around his body.

Saya: Oh my god! Y/n, w-what happening to you? Why do you have all these black veins on your body.

She then notice his red eyes.

Saya: Y-You're eyes... they're red... Y/n, what's going on? Please tell me!

Y/n: I don't know, Saya. Honest... I really don't know.

Saya lifted up his shirt to see more of the veins across his crest.

Saya: Please... please don't tell me, you got infected.

Y/n: Sadly yes...

Saya: I-I-I thought....

Y/n: Yeah, I thought the same thing but it turns out it broke through the skin a tiny bit.

Saya: M-Maybe there's still time...

Y/n: Saya at this point there's nothing you or anyone can do.

Saya couldn't help but let out a few tears when hearing what Y/n said.

Y/n: However, it feels different...

Saya: Different? How?

Y/n: When Hisashi turn, he started coughing up blood, his eyes turn dark, and he started having chest pain before he died. But for me is not the same in fact... it feels like my body is not fending off the virus but instead it's trying bond or coexist for some reason.

Saya: H-How can you be sure your right about what you're saying.

Y/n: Remember yesterday event with Hirano. My body reacted on his own and knock back two full grown men with one swing. It like I'm changing into something inhuman...

Y/n then felt his body in pain again.

Y/n: AAAAAAHHHHH!!!

Saya: Y/n!?!

Saya hug Y/n to keep him from hurting himself as he trash around a bit.

Saya: *thought* Please, please, please, don't turn! I begging you, Y/n!

After a few minutes, Y/n started calming down as Saya took notice of the veins on his body disappearing in front her. She then put her ear on his chest to listen his heartbeat going back to normal as she sighs in relief.

Y/n: *pant* Fuck... it still hurt so much...

Saya: Y/n, why didn't you say anything about this.

Y/n: I was... I was scared how you guys might react if you found out that I managed to get infected especially Rei... she been through enough with losing Hisashi and being unable to contact her parents. The last thing she need is her learning that I got infected and something changing me from the inside.

Saya looks at Y/n with a concern expression.

Saya: What do you want to do?

Y/n: Right now, keep it between us until I feel ready to let everyone know what's happening to me. The last thing we need is the group falling apart again after yesterday event.

Saya: Ok but if this gets any worse than before I'm telling them with or without you. I just don't want to see you suffering like this alone.

Y/n: Thank you, Saya. You're the best!

Saya gave Y/n a kiss on the lips before smiling at him.

Saya: Don't mention it. Should we tell Saeko about this?

Y/n: Not yet and besides if she finds out I was infected after checking it herself. I get the feeling she'll try to chop off my head to give me a quick death.

Saya: Fair point.

Saya help Y/n up from the floor as they both stand up.

Saya: Go wash your face then meet me outside once you're done. I been hearing commotion among the survivors outside.

Y/n: Is it bad?

Saya: I don't know for sure but if we don't try to resolve it or at least calm them down it could spell trouble for everyone here in the mansion.

Y/n: Basically, another person becoming Mr. Shido and using this as their advantage to build their own followers.

Saya: Exactly.

She gave him another kiss before leaving the room and going downstairs. Y/n think to himself for a moment before looking at his hand as he could tell his body is changing.

Y/n: First this and now trouble is starting to arise among the survivors... it just keeps getting worse and worse as they days goes by.

Survivor camp....

Heavy rain began to fall across Japan. The roads were too slippery for driving, many remained inside of the mansion while a few survivors remained in the tents which were in the garden of the estate. In one of the tents, Saya was in the middle of an argument with the survivors on how this outbreak started. Y/n, Takashi, and Hirano were there as her bodyguards.

Saya: How many times will it take until you get it? The idea of a disease that turns people into murderers is absurd! The government is using that as an excuse because they can't figure out what's going on! It's their idea of damage control! It's Japan's favorite way of pretending to care!

Survivor: So, what? You're saying that dead bodies are really moving around? Ridiculous! It seems like some new disease! It has to be!

Crazy survivor: Indeed! There must be a reason for all of this!

Saya: You can think whatever you'd like, but there's no way that amateurs could figure out the reason. It's futile unless you happen to be a specialist with a steady environment and a lot of time to investigate! There's no way any of us could do that! Or are you trying to say that you're capable of that?

Crazy survivor: Er, that's...

Y/n: *thought* Of course you have no reason to explain. This is like the bus incident with Shido... I swear if I ever see that bastard again. He's dead!

Y/n, Saya, Takashi, and Hirano return back at the mansion as Saya was still upset.

Takashi: Have those guys seriously not seen anything?

Saya: They probably shut their eyes!

Hirano: I kind of understand how they feel though.

Y/n: Hirano makes a good point, Saya. Humans don't want to see what they don't want to see. No one wants to be put down. That's why people do nothing, even when they do know something is happening. But now isn't the time to pretend that nothing has changed.

He heard Rei start laughing.

Rei was shocked to hear this from Y/n himself.

Rei: H-How could you think I would blame you... Yes, this is a nightmare to me, but you were never a part of it! I'm sorry I called you a murdering freak. I never meant that! When you stood up to Shido, I was so happy, no one ever did that for me. I'm glad you saved me from that asshole, if it was anyone else I don't think I would be here today. Ever since this all started, I've been saved in so many ways and I'm so grateful that you were the one to do it! I want this to all go away, but I never want you to go away! You treat me like a strong girl, even when I'm not at times.

Y/n: That's because you always been strong. You're not afraid to stand up for yourself. You've been strong ever since we were kids. Yeah, you're rough around the edges and you're a bit aggressive, but that shows how strong you are. Honestly, I have respect for strong women.

Outside the area of the mansion, the workers of the mansion are seen patrolling the barricade that was set up to stop upcoming vehicles. A familiar minibus came into view as it stops in front of the barricade.

Male worker: More survivors?

One of the female student pokes out from the bus window while presenting her breast for the male worker to see in full view.

Female student: Please! Please, help us! We came here after we escaped from our school, but we have nowhere to go! Please! Please help us!

Male worker: Okay. We'll move the blockade right away.

Inside the bus, Shido smile mischievously.

Souchiro's office...

Y/n and Takashi visit Souchiro in his office to discuss the matter of Y/n group leaving the mansion to go look for their parents.

Souchiro: So, you'll find your parents, no matter what?

Y/n: We will. Besides you still require my father blessing if me and Saya are to be married in the future.

Souchiro: Heh is good to see you're focus about the marriage between you and my daughter. What about you Komuro?

Takashi: My father is somewhere far away, so I'll simply pray for his safety. My mother should be at the grade school she works at, since the outbreak happened during school. Rei's, I mean, Miyamoto's father is a police officer, so we should be able to find something out once we go to the East Police Station. Her mother should be hiding at her house.

Souchiro: What will you do once you find them? We'll leave in two days, first thing in the morning. It's far too dangerous to stay here right now.

Y/n: We'll find everyone and bring them here before you leave. *thought* If we can that is because at this rate it is getting more dangerous by the day and soon the undead will be the least of our problems.

Souchiro: I won't be able to look after so many people.

Y/n realizes what's going on, rushing after Rei as he knows who it is.

It was Mr. Shido and his small group of followers.
Tsunoda, Miura, and a few other students from the school. Mr. Shido's appearance has changed. He was wearing his all-black outfit, but he has a makeshift eyepatch covering his right eye and bandages around his crotch area from where he was shot by Y/n's gun. As he seen being escorted by Yoshioka.

Yoshioka: I never thought we would end up saving Senator Shido's family. Though this isn't exactly a time to worry about the election.

Shido: It's not a problem. I'm nothing more than a teacher at the moment.

Yoshioka: You're quite impressive. I heard you escaped from school with the students who survived.

Shido: Of course. It isn't anything special. I simply fulfilled my duty as a teacher.

Yoshioka: Your father raised you well.

Shido gave glare as he starts remembering about the past and his father.

Takashi was going to stop her but Saeko grabbed his hand.

Takashi: S-Saeko-san!

Saeko: Miyamoto-kun must decide this for herself.

Shido: Very well. Kill me. Kill me and suffer for it as long as you live! That is the highest level of education I can give you as your teacher!

Y/n and Rei both give death glares at Shido for what seemed like hours. Eventually, Rei lowers her rifle and walks away.

Souchiro: Is that your decision?

Rei: He's not even worth my time. Y/n?

Y/n: I have some few words to say to this bastard.

Y/n walks up to Shido before punching him straight in the face making him have a nosebleed along with surprising everyone.

Shido: Ah! My nose!

Pointing his gun at Shido's face.

Y/n: Listen up, Shido! Your pathetic life was spared three times in a row! Yet here you are trying to cause trouble for others in order to keep yourself alive. You're exactly like your father down to the bone just how my father describes the both of you.

Shido: Grr!

Shido got mad after hearing that he was compared to his father. Looking at the gun in front of him. Shido use all his strength to kick Y/n in the stomach making him fall back and drop his gun.

Y/n group: Y/n!?

Shido rush forward and grabbing the gun before pointing it at Y/n, who got back up quickly.

Shido: Shut up you little shit! Who do you think are!? Comparing me to my bastard of a father! I had enough with your disobedient!

Before anyone could react on time, Shido squeeze the trigger of the gun and firing a bullet at Y/n. Everyone watches in horror as the bullet pierces Y/n chest and through his body.

Y/n's group: NOOO!

Rei: SHIDO!!!

Rei aims her rifle at Shido and firing a bullet but only manage to shoot him in the arm as he falls back from the force.

Saya: Y/N!

Saya rushes toward Y/n side and tries putting pressure on the wound as he started bleeding out.

Saya: Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Ms. Shizuka help me here!

Shizuka rush toward Saya side as she starts trying to stop the bleeding.

Shizuka: Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! Y/n please stay with us!

Y/n: *cough* *cough* *cough* Trying....

More blood started spilling out making Shizuka and Saya panic.

Shizuka: Kawamoto! Tanuichi! Miku! I need my medical bag, clean towels, and clean water!

Saya: Hurry!

Kawamoto, Taniuchi, and Miku rush back inside to get the medical supplies while Takashi, Hirano, and Saeko confronted Shido with Hirano pointing his gun and Saeko pointing her katana at Shido's face.

Takashi: You son of a bitch! What did you do?!

Shido: It's not my fault... he's such a terrible student...

Takashi: Grr!

Saeko: You are going to pay for this!

Shido: How? Are you going to arrest me... hahaha...

Hirano: There's no way you're getting away from killing my friend!

Rei rushes toward Y/n side as Shizuka and Saya keep pressure on the wound.

Saya: Where the hell are they?!

Souchiro: Yoshioka! Find a doctor among the survivors! NOW!

His chest wound was sealed up completely surprising everyone but the vein remain visible.

Saya pulls Shizuka and Rei to the side making everyone confused why she's acting this way until Y/n opens his eyes showing they are red now and scaring everyone.

He doesn't respond but instead got back up making everyone more scared.

Miku drops the bag when she saw Y/n up and standing along with noticing the claws. Kawamoto and Tanuichi follow behind and gasping as well when seeing Y/n.

Shido must have pissed himself when hearing his name being called in a cold tone of voice. Out of rage and anger, Y/n yell out to Shido in fury while presenting his claws.

Y/n: SHIDO!!!!

Saya: Takashi! Hirano! Saeko! Get away from Shido, now! Quickly!

Takashi, Hirano, and Saeko quickly moved out of the way as Y/n charge forward at Shido with killing intend.

Raising his claws above Shido head, Y/n start tearing Shido apart piece by piece. While everyone can only watch in shock and horror as they see Y/n killing Shido as Shido's scream are heard amongst his followers who back away in fear.

After only a few seconds the screams died down and Y/n is heard panting and covered in blood as Shido's remains are scattered a crossed the floor. No one couldn't say anything as they look at Y/n with fear in their eyes.

Everyone was still too scared to get too close to Y/n. He took notice of that as he looks down seeing what he did and looking at his hand seeing the claws as he clenches them.

Everyone realizes that Y/n it still himself as they see him returning back normal before falling to his knees.

He did what she asked as he sees Rei having tears as well.

Rei: I'm just so glad you're still alive.

She pulled him into her embrace as he hugs her back. Rei cries in his shoulder as the rain stop as the sunset set on the horizon.

Marine 1#: Captain, I've received a new emergency order. Code 666D. I repeat, code 666D. They're order regarding targets November-Kilo and Romeo-Charlie.

Marine 2#: Roger. 001, get to the announcement station! Confirm the message.

The marine opens a safe to pull out a small red case to open as it contains a code for launch sequence.

Marine 2#: Has the order been confirmed, 001?

The captain grabs the speaker to make an announcement.

Captain: This is your captain. The president's order has been confirmed. We will now commence fire on November-Kilo and Romeo-Charlie!

Marine 2#: Who's the president right now, anyway? They all turned into monsters.

Both the captain and marine place their keys in the device at the same time.

Captain: Is it someone from the DOE? Two days ago, it was someone from the DHS. Though he was already bitten. Those fuckers. But no one knows the exact details. Only the heaven, angels, and ourselves. God, please forgive us. If there is a god that is. Fire 01!

Twisting the keys at the same time as the captain press a button to launch a missile in the sky.

Male astronaut: Not yet. Not only America, but Russia is firing.

Female astronaut: Russia? They have time to fire missiles.

The female astronaut takes a look at the screen and was shocked what's she seeing.
