[Z-Day + One Day Later...]

The Takagi Residence....

Inside the mansion, Takashi and Rei were seen looking at one another in bed with Rei being naked and only having a towel to cover herself.

Rei: T-Takashi...

Takashi: Rei...

Shizuka came back having applied special ointment for Rei back treatment as she gave an sadistic expression.

Shizuka: Here we go~! Don't let her get away, Komuro-kun~!

Takashi: O-Okay.

Rei: Nooo! Its going to hurt!

Shizuka reach towards Rei as Takashi hold her still as Shizuka start applying the ointment on Rei back.

Rei: Nooooooooo~!

Rei kept screaming in pain each time Shizuka rubs her back to make sure the ointment is well applied.

Rei: OW!

Shizuka: *giggle* It's for your own good~

Rei: Ow! *thought* Where's Y/n when I need him!?

It has been a day since Y/n and Saeko rejoined the group. They were now residing in the Takagi Residence which was now a safe heaven for all uninfected survivors. It was the first "normal" day since the outbreak began. Hirano was in the garage checking on the weaponry, Alice enjoying a piece of cake, while Rei was being treated for her back injury.

Meanwhile....

In one of the rooms that Y/n is staying in, vomiting noises can heard from the other side of the bathroom.

Y/n: *vomiting* ugh! *pant*

Y/n was seen vomiting inside a toilet as he woke up with a massive headache. The black veins from before started presenting itself again only this time in both arms.

Y/n: *vomiting* *pant*

Flushing the toilet, Y/n got up from the floor as he goes toward the mirror to wash his face with the sink.

Y/n: *thought* What the hell? Why did I wake up with a massive headache... and why does my body feel like I'm burning. I'm sure the infected didn't break the skin when it bit me... did it?

After he was done washing his face, he grabs a nearby towel to dry his face. However, as he was done drying himself off, Y/n saw his reflection in the mirror making go in shock.

Y/n: Huh!?

One of his eyes turned dark red as black veins was forming underneath along with some blood leaking out.

Y/n: W-What the hell!?

Y/n stretch out his hand to touch the mirror but soon notice his arm covered in black veins,

Y/n: What the fuck!

Y/n jump back in shock, hitting himself by accident on the door. This got the attention of Saeko who came in the room to check on him.

Seako: Y/n? Are you ok in there.

Y/n: S-Saeko!? I-I mean... everything is fine here!

Saeko: Are you sure? I heard a loud thumbing noise.

Y/n: It's fine! I just hit myself by accident against the door. Nothing to worry about, hahaha!

Saeko: .... Alright then. I'll see you downstairs later, ok.

Y/n: S-Sure.

After waiting for a minute, finally heard Saeko leave his room and walk away. Sighing in relief, he looks back at the mirror. But noticing both the black veins and his eye start going back to normal.

Y/n: Ok... what the hell just happened. One minute my eye turn red and my arms are grow some black veins the next is back to normal. What's happening to me...

Wiping the blood from his eye looks down and grip tightly on the sides of the sink deciding it was best not tell anyone until he was certain he knows what's going on. Leaving the the bathroom, he didn't notice the grip marks he left behind on the sink.

Y/n: I better go check on everyone to see how their doing. Specifically Miku, Kawamoto, and Taniuchi. I'm sure those three had it rough than the others after what they experience.

Leaving his room after calming down, Y/n decides to visit Miku, Kawamoto, and Taniuchi to see how their doing. Going over to their room, he knocks on the door and Taniuchi was the first one to opened it.

Taniuchi: Y/n!

Y/n: Hey Taniuchi, how are you doing.

Taniuchi ran and hugged Y/n with a few tears in her eyes.

Taniuchi: I'm so happy you're still alive.

Kawamot comes right behind he as she smiles at Y/n with a happy expression.

Kawamoto: Taniuchi has been crying for you ever since you were gone.

Taniuchi: Don't say that, Kawamoto. You were worried about him just as much as I was.

Kawamoto blush as she looks away embarrassed.

Kawamoto: Well, maybe a little...

Y/n: Don't worry you two, I'm fine. I'm just glad that you two were able to stay safe after yesterday event. You both have came a long way since we got out of the school. I hated the idea that we had to save Mr. Shido, but I'm glad you two survived. But I'm more proud that you were willing to protect Alice if it mean leaving us behind. So, thank you!

Taniuchi: Y/n...

Kawamoto: You're proud of us.....

Taniuchi and Kawamoto both immediately hug Y/n with tears in their eyes as he hug them back. Just then, Miku entered the room and saw Y/n hugging Taniuchi and Kawamoto.

Miku: Y/n, is that you...

Y/n: Yeah, it's me Miku. I'm glad to see your alive and well.

After Y/n let go of Kawamoto and Taniuchi. Miku immediately went to hug Y/n with a small blush on her face.

Miku: You have no idea how happy I am to see you again... I thought that you were going to become one of them...

Y/n: It's good to be back, Miku. I'm glad you and the girls are still alive.

Miku: Please, don't leave us like that again. We can't take it. If we were still with Shido, we probably wouldn't still be alive or worse...

Y/n: Don't worry. If I see that bastard again and he tries anything, I'll make sure he regrets it. If you were still with him, he would have corrupted you and made you his puppets. So, you made the right decision by leaving him. Remember that, ok.

Miku: Yeah, you're right.

Letting him go, Y/n looks at all three of them.

Y/n: The three of you make our support team with Ms. Shizuka, Alice, and Zero. We need you three just as much as we need them. So, I'm counting all three of you to help out much as you can.

Taniuchi: We will do our best, Y/n.

Kawamoto: We promise on not letting you down.

Miku: We'll support you until the end.

Y/n: I'm glad to hear it, girls.

Back with Rei, Takashi, and Shizuka... Shizuka was done applying the medicine for Rei's back as has happy expression on her face.

Shizuka: Did it soak in? It's my own special mix!

Rei could only groan in annoyance and yell at Takashi.

Rei: Traitor!

Takashi: W-What?! All I did was help her put the ointment on!

Rei: I'm not talking about this!

Takashi: Then what ARE you talking about?

Rei: Think about what happened the other day!

Takashi: What?

Rei: I don't care if you put the ointment on my back. Shizuka-sensei doesn't have to be the one to do it. *thought* I would have preferred it was Y/n at least he would be gentle. And besides doesn't Takashi know it HIS fault I'm in this state in the first place.

Takashi: Okay?

Rei couldn't take it anymore with Takashi being this much of an idiot.

Rei: Just get out.

Takashi: Huh? That was abrupt.

Rei got more upset as she yells at Takashi in anger as she explains the reason.

Rei: My boobs are killing me because you used them to balance an AK-47! I'm going to put ointment on my chest by myself! Now, get out!

Takashi runs out the room as Y/n appear behind him looking confused on what's going on.

Y/n: Whoa! What happened back in there?

Takashi: Oh, hey Y/n. Nothing wrong just Rei being Rei that's all.

Y/n: Really? Because it sounded like she's more upset than usual.

Takashi: I guess she still upset that I used her as a way to balance the gun to shoot.

Y/n: Oh... Yeah, I still don't understand why you used her like that. Did you forget the recoil Hirano mentioned. He told you these guns pack a punch.

Takashi: Yeah, that's my fault.

Y/n just sigh at Takashi in disappointment.

Y/n: I'll talk to her for you so she can calm down. You can go check on Alice to see how you're doing.

Takashi: Thanks man! And also is good to see you and Saeko back.

Y/n: Same here, I'm glad all of you made it out safe here.

Takashi and Y/n gave each other fist pumps before Takashi left to check on Alice. Y/n then knock on Rei's door.

Rei: Go away, Takashi!!

Y/n: It's me, Rei.

Rei: Oh, sorry Y/n. You can come in.

Y/n entered the room to see Rei laying on the bed with a towel covering her ass.

Y/n: Hey, Rei is good see you're doing fine. How are you feeling?

Rei: Well, I'm still recovering but I am happy you're here. I'd hug you but as you can see for yourself, I'm not in the state to move too much.

Y/n: No, No. Stay where you are. Your back is still messed up from the fall. I know Ms. Shizuka treated you, but you shouldn't move.

Y/n looks at Rei seeing the state she's in as he felt guilty about it. Y/n grabs a nearby chair and takes a seat next to her.

Y/n: I'm sorry, I wasn't able to catch you back at the Humvee. It happened so fast, I lost my grip and now you're injured because of me. Please forgive me, Rei.

Rei: No, it's not your fault. I should have held on tighter. What about you? Are you alright from yesterday.

Y/n: What do you mean?

Rei: I mean when you were facing undead before Saeko saved you. I... saw you get bitten. And when I saw that, I had a flashback when Hisashi got bitten and how he turned...

Y/n remembered how Hisashi turned into the undead as he place a hand on his shoulder where he got bit.

Y/n: I'm fine, Rei. That was just me going all out to keep my promise to you. I wanted the undead to focus only on me so you and the others could have time to get over the wire and escape.

Rei: .....

Y/n: I was just a distraction. To be honest, I told Takashi to take the lead because I didn't think I'd make it out of there without getting bit. *chuckle*

Rei couldn't help but look at Y/n with sadness as she lifted herself a bit from the bed.

Rei: Please...

Y/n: Huh?

Rei: Please, don't say that... you basically said you were okay with being killed.

Y/n looked at Rei seeing tears about to fall down her face.

Rei: Last night, I had a nightmare, that you became one of undead... If that ever happened I wouldn't be able to recover and none of us would survive without you. You've been leading us ever since this hell started... *thought* And you're the reason, why I want to keep living.

Rei reach out her hand toward Y/n's shirt as clench his sleeve.

Rei: Please, promise me you won't die.... I know you promised Hisashi to keep me safe but I want you to promise me. That you will stay alive for me till the end.

Y/n sees Rei hand trembling as he gently pull Rei into a hug.

Y/n: Okay Rei, I promise that I'll take more priority on my life. I will never become one of the undead. And I intend to keep my promise.

Rei: You better because I hope that time doesn't come... you've done so much for me. You were even willing to kill someone for me. I want to repay you... but I....

Y/n: The fact you are still alive is enough for me.
I just want you to stay alive, that's all.

Rei then look at the bottle of ointment at the desk giving her an idea.

Rei: Well, there's one way I can repay you~

Y/n: What's that?

Rei grabs the bottle of ointment from the desk as she presents it to Y/n.

Rei: Mind placing the rest of the medicine on my backside and front~

Y/n: B-But I thought Shizuka and yourself already did that.

Rei: Please, Y/n~ It hurt SO much to move on my own~

Y/n was blushing madly before taking the bottle from her.

Y/n: Fine, you win.

Rei: Yay~!

Rei then tossed the towel aside, exposing her full naked body to Y/n as he squeeze the bottle in excitement.

Y/n: *thought* Whoa!

Rei giggle in response as she lays on her stomach.

Rei: I'm waiting Y/n~ *giggle*

He gets to work on applying the ointment on Rei entire body as each time, he applies and rubs the ointment on her. She moans from his touch and it only got more erotic when it was time for the front side.

30 minutes later....

Y/n came out of the room with a satisfied look on his face after applying the medicine all over, Rei's body.

Y/n: *thought* Best day ever~!

Y/n goes downstairs until he spots two adults struggling with moving a large box.

Worker 1: Dumbass! It fell 'cuz you're walking too fast!

Y/n goes over to help the two workers.

Y/n: Let me help you.

Worker 2: Oh, it's okay. Let the adults do this.

Y/n: Adults?

Worker 1: You kids can sit back and relax!

Both men walk away with the large box leaving Y/n confused.

Y/n: Ok... I was only trying to do my part help.

Saeko: Do not be so concerned.

Y/n turn around to see Saeko wearing a kimono making him shock by Saeko beauty.

Saeko: Is something wrong?

Y/n: Uh, no. You look good in that. Like, really good. *thought* So, glad to have her as my girlfriend!

Saeko blushes by Y/n comment making him feel embarrassed that he made it sound weird.

Y/n: Uh, I-I wasn't trying to be weird!

Saeko: Oh, no! I did not think of it like that.

Y/n: Phew!

Then both start laughing at the awkward scenario that happened between them.

Y/n /Saeko: Hahaha!!

Takashi: Seem you two are having fun.

Takashi and Alice came in through the main entrance of the mansion as Alice was confuse on what's going on.

Alice: Huh? What's going on? Why're you in a good mood?

Y/n: We were telling each other how nice it is to see you happy, Alice.

Alice: Yeah! I'm happy!

Flashback...

Y/n goes upstairs and checks all of the bedrooms for Ms. Shizuka and Alice. After a few more attempts, he finds the correct door and opens it slowly to see Ms. Shizuka and Alice sleeping in a gentle embrace. It was watching like a mother hold her young daughter to keep her warm during a cold night.

Y/n: That's cute. I just know Shizuka will make a great mother someday.

Y/n gently closed the door behind him and slowly walked towards their bed. He slowly sat down on the bed making sure not to wake them up.

Y/n: Now that I think about it, they both have come a long way since this all started.

Y/n rubs Shizuka heads as she smile in her sleep by the affection.

Y/n: Ms. Shizuka was only known as "The Airheaded Nurse With Big Boobs" by the students.
Now, she's our getaway driver and Alice's potential mother in arms. I hated it when they always said that back at school. They only saw what was on the outside and never valued what was on the inside. I always enjoyed my time helping at the nurses office and hanging out with Ms. Shizuka, making her laugh by being a goof and seeing her medical talent. I'm surprised she became a nurse instead of an actual doctor. Plus, Hirano told me that Mr. Shido wanted her to stay for "other" intentions. I'm starting to regret not killing him when I had him at my mercy.

Y/n lean in giving Shizuka a kiss on the cheek making her blush as she continues sleeping. Then look at Alice.

Y/n: I always viewed Alice as my little sister.
Even when I used to babysit her, she would always call me her big brother. Sometimes, I wish she had actual siblings, that'd be nice. She doesn't deserve to have to live in a hell like this. She deserves to live a normal life with a family, friends, and go to school like normal kids. A life before all of this. It's why I'm so protective of her. Especially after seeing those undead children. I'll never let that happen to her.

Y/n placed a hand on Shizuka and Alice.

Y/n: I can't save everyone, I know that. But if I can protect them, that's good enough for me at least. Alice, Shizuka, I'll protect you both, even when I'm far away.

Alice squinted her eyes open.

Alice: Onii-Chan....

Y/n: Yeah, it's me Alice. Enjoy your sleep. I'll see you when you wake up.

Alice: Okay....

Alice drifted back to sleep as Y/n quietly left the
room.

End of Flashback...

Y/n smiles at Alice as he kneels down to give her a head pat.

Suddenly they heard Saya yelling in the hallway upstairs.

Saya: Yeah I know! You're ALWAYS right! ALWAYS!!!

Y/n: Saya?

Takashi: Let me see, what's going on.

Saya is walking down the hallway with an angry expression until she stopped when Takashi calls out to her.

Takashi: What's the matter with you?!

Saya: You don't have to act like a prick!

Takashi: *sarcastic* Oh, I'm sorry. What's the matter with you?

Saya: Maybe Prick isn't the right word. I should have said asshole!

Takashi: Uh...

Saya: I don't want to talk about it. Just drop it, leave me alone.

Saya goes downstairs and walks away from Takashi.

Takashi: Hey, Taga-

Saya: I said I don't want to talk about it!!!

Y/n walked over to the sound of yelling and saw
Takashi over the stairs.

Y/n: What was that?

Takashi: Takagi being Takagi, I guess.

Y/n: Oh boy, this could be troublesome.

Yuriko: She's troubling you, isn't she? Sorry to draw you into our little discussion...

Both Y/n and Takashi turn to see, Yuriko Takagi, Saya's mother.

Y/n and Takashi bow their heads to Yuriko in respect.

Y/n: Hello, Mrs. Takagi.

Takashi: And It's okay. This isn't our first time with this.

Yuriko: You've both gotten used to her? You three have been friends since kindergarten.

Y/n: Reminds me of when I would have to save her from the bullies back in middle school. *thought* Afterwards comforted her with letting Saya nibble on my neck so she calmed down.

Takashi: Yeah, somethings never change. Anyway, cool place you got here. I always knew your house was nice, but not this nice.

Yuriko: Oh, you two never been here before, have you?

Takashi: Eh, well... no.

Y/n: More like intimidated by your status.

Takashi: Yeah...

Y/n: So, after Rei is done healing from her back injury from yesterday. Will be leaving first thing in the morning to go search for ours. Afterwards find some place to settle down until this blows over or at least calmed down to figure out what happened.

Yuriko: Seems like you two have a plan.

Y/n: That indeed, Mrs. Takagi.

Yuriko: Please, call me Yuriko.

Meanwhile....

Hirano can be seen inside the garage of the mansion messing around with the guns that was brought from Shizuka's friend house.

Hirano: Here's the carrier spring ejector, hehehe.

Saya: Sounds like you're enjoying yourself.

Hirano: Huh, what?

Saya: Better enjoy it while you can. It's not like we can stay here forever.

Hirano: Why not, Takagi? If we stay here at this stronghold of a mansion-

Saya: You didn't think about how difficult it is to secure water and electricity? We learn about these things in grade school.

Hirano: Umm well...

Saya: So basically in order to keep that huge network running, you need a well-organized and countless number of specialists who feel safe and can work with ease.

Back at the hallway of the mansion...

Yuriko: When the dead began attacking, the commander sent the SDF to the power plants on his own. He couldn't wait for those foolish prime ministers to move.

Takashi: But in that case, maintaining them a little longer wouldn't be a problem.

Y/n: Always the optimistic aren't you, Takashi.

Takashi: Huh?

Yuriko: I wonder how long those operators can continue maintaining the plants? They have family too. And their families aren't there with them at the power plants.

Takashi: So you're going to use those buses?

Yuriko: Yes. Only those who we are responsible... No, we will bring only those who are prepared to survive.

Hirano continue messing with the gun until someone call out to him.

Matsudo: Oh, lady Saya. Uh, no. I came to tell you that I'm done fixing up that car you came here in.

Matsudo left their sight as Hirano was amazed by Saya status.

Saya: I don't want to hear you say that. Anyway, you better do something about that! Don't let him talk to you like that.

Saya: You didn't understand his reaction just now?
The majority of the people here are adults! But difference is WE went through just as they have. I'm sick of they're treating us like kids.

Y/n and Takashi are walking in the hallway after finishing discussing with Mrs. Takagi.

"Yuriko: I want her to understand. But she won't understand no matter what I tell her. I wonder if I can ask any of you two to do it? Persuade Takagi?"

Takashi: I've never won an argument with her since kindergarten. Can you do it, Y/n? You're the only who understand her the most out of any of us.

Y/n: Sure... *thought* I understand Yuriko concern on wanting Saya to understand. However, Saya has as much right to her own idea and belief as anyone else. And besides... survival of the fittest won't mean anything if not you're willing to give up you're humanity.

As they walk in the hallway, black veins from before start appearing again on Y/n body. This time around his neck...

Later....

Everyone from Y/n group gathered in Rei's room, who's still laying in bed naked with the towel covering her ass.

Rei: Do we really have to gather in here?

Takashi: Well, you can't move. I don't think we have a choice.

Shizuka: So, what do we need to talk about?

Saya: Whether we're going to stick with this group or not.

This caught everyone off guard.

Rei: This group?

Miku: You mean us.

Saeko: Of course. As of now, we have become part of a much larger and more powerful group. So basically...

Y/n: Everyone here has their own opinions so we need to think more democratically if we're going to stay together.

Saya: Right. We have two options. We can join them. Or we can go our own way.

Taking a quick glimpse of the street outside, chaos still run rampant outside with undead spreading further and further as the days goes by.

Saya: You sound like my mom! I know! The Takagis! Everything had to the perfect! The house, the lawn, the parties, and most of all, their daughter!! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY SUFFOCATING! THEY WANTED TO KNOW WHERE I WAS! AND WHAT I WAS DOING! EVERY MINUTE OF THE DAY! THE LEASH THEY KEPT ME ON!!

Takashi: Hey, that's enough...

Y/n: Saya, calm down.

Saya: NO! IT WAS NEVER ENOUGH! BUT WHERE WAS THAT LEASH YESTERDAY?! WHEN I WAS OUT THERE LOST IN THE STREET, FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE! WHERE THE HELL WERE THEY?! THEY DIDN'T THINK I COULD SURVIVE, SO THEY JUST GAVE UP ON ME RIGHT AWAY!

Takashi: Shut up, Saya!

Takashi grabs Saya by the collar of her shirt and lifted her up in the air.

Y/n: Takashi!

Saeko: Komuro-kun?

Saya: You don't know... You have no idea... What I feel... You don't know anything about me...

Takashi: It's not just you! It's the same for me! It's the same for all of us! Actually, you're better off than the rest of us! You know your parents are safe! SO QUIT WHINNING!!

Y/n walk up behind Takahi, placing a hand on his shoulder to stop him from shaking Saya.

Y/n: Put her down, Takashi. You starting to scare Alice and the girls.

Takashi look behind seeing Alice being scared and hiding behind Miku, Kawamoto, and Taniuchi. As Saya tells him to let her go.

Saya: I get it. I get it. Let me go.

He puts her down gently on the floor as she fix herself.

Takashi: I'm sorry.

Saya: You better be but whatever. If we don't get down to business-

Their discussion was soon interrupted by the sound of a vehicle entering the estate.

Y/n: Do you hear that?

The group steps out of the room and looks out of the balcony as they see a black SUV along with two trucks enter the gates of The Takagi Estate. Yuriko along with the bodyguards stand infront of the SUV as a man steps out of the vehicle.

Hirano: Is that?

Saya: Yes. That's the former head of Tokonosu and current head of the Takagi family. That's a man who does everything as he sees fit.

His appearance is of a tall and intimidating man with jet black hair and fierce orange eyes that has gaze of a predatory animal.

Saya: That's my dad!

Y/n: Souchiro Takagi... *thought* And he's more intimidating in person just like how dad described him to be.

Later....

A whole group of survivors were rallied outside the front entrance of the gates while Y/n and the others stand outside on the balcony. Then, a forklift arrived with a cage containing one of the undead inside.

Souchiro: This man's name is Doi Tetsutaro! He used to be a retainer of the Takagi family. He is also my best friend. And today, in the midst of a rescue, he was bitten while helping his comrades! Self-sacrifice is the most noble act we humans are capable of doing! But he is no longer human. He died and turned into a very dangerous thing!

The undead Tetsutaro banged on the cage as
Souichiro drew out the katana on his hip.

Souchiro: Thus Here I shall carry out my duty as a man of the Takagi family!

The cage was unlocked as the undead Tetsutaro charged at Souichiro only for him to slice his head off as a baby's bottle hit the ground.

Random mother: I'm sorry, my child...

The survivors look on in shock as the undead decomposed head can be seen floating in the waters of the fountain, filling the waters with its blood.

Souchiro: This is our reality! Whether they were a good friend, beloved family members, or a former lover, you must be ready to kill them! If you wish to live, you must fight!

The survivors remain in silence before Souichiro walked back inside the mansion, with Yuriko following behind him as Saya watched them from the balcony.

Takashi:What's the matter, Hirano? You don't look too good.

Hirano: Swords aren't efficient enough...

Takashi:W-What?

Hirano: I said they aren't efficient enough! If the blade of a Japanese sword hits bone, it'll break! It's useless after three kills!

Saeko: You assume too much, Hirano-kun. Even in swordsmanship, results come in numbers. The skill of the swordsman, the quality of the sword, and the strength of the heart. If the three of those are high-level enough, your fighting prowess shall not dwindle, no matter how many you kill.

Hirano: B-But if blood gets on it, then its impossible to--

Takashi: Hey, Hirano. That's enough.

Takashi reached out to him, but Hirano swatted his arm away.

Hirano: Don't touch me! Don't get in my way! You can't even shoot a gun!

Saya: Cool it, Hirano!

Hirano then look at Y/n for support.

Hirano: Y/n, you understand right? You understand the flaws of a blade than a gun.

Y/n: Hirano... I'm not going to say a gun is better than sword because that's not true. And I'm not saying swords are better either. Both weapons are equally as important to one another. They need to be maintain and properly taken care off. Besides at the rate, this outbreak is going... we have to start conserving ammo soon because unless you know how to make infinite bullets. We can't keep using guns unless we want draw the attention of all the undead around us.

Hirano: I thought you of all people will understand... I guess I was wrong.

Y/n: Hirano, I didn't mean-

With that, Hirano ran off into the mansion.

Takashi: Hey, Hirano!

Y/n: Damn it. This is the last thing we need right now. Hirano, come back!

Y/n, Takashi, and Alice chase after Kohta.

Saeko: One big happy family...

Y/n and Takashi loose track of Hirano as this frustrated Takashi a bit.

Alice: Onii-chan! Did Takashi and Hirano-chan get in an argument?

Y/n: Maybe.... Yeah, I guess they did.

Alice: Okay, I'll tell you something that'll cheer you up!

Takashi: Huh?

Y/n patted Alice on the head and gave her smile.

Y/n: Thanks on trying to cheer us up, Alice.

Alice: You guys have softened up since we got to Saya-chan's house! After everything that's happened before we got here, you two can't have a fight now!

Takashi: Softened up?

Y/n: Alice is right Takashi. Since this all began you and Hirano started forming a bond as strong as the one you and I have had when we were kids. And it made me happy to see, my friends getting along with one another.

Y/n turn to talk with Alice.

Y/n: Alice, you mind finding Hirano for us and convincing him, we want to talk when he's ready.

Alice: Sure! I'll go tell him that you want to talk to him! Let's go, Zero!

Alice and Zero run off to look for Hirano.

Y/n: Mutiny on the Bounty... remember our 2nd year in middle school, Takashi.

Takashi: Yeah, I remember...

Y/n: Let's split up to find Hirano. I'll look in the backyard, you search the courtyard. We can't let the group fall apart.

Takashi: Got it.

Flashback...

Y/n: It was my 2nd year in middle school. It was right before spring break. My class was looking forward to the break when our history nerd of a homeroom teacher told us this story. The year was 1788. After a difficult voyage, a British warship arrived in Tahiti, the paradise of the South Atlantic Ocean. It was called the Bounty. After staying in Tahiti for six months, the ship set sail again. Mutiny broke out after not even a month had passed. The crew's discipline had slipped, due to their carefree days in Tahiti. Our homeroom teacher compared Tahiti to our break, and us to the crew of the Bounty.

End of Flashback...

Y/n walk towards the backyard of the estate as he look at the sun for a bit.

Y/n: And now we're in Tahiti again. Or at least facing something similar to it.

Alice: Onii-chan!

Y/n turn to see, Alice rushing towards him with Zero in a panic state.

Y/n: Alice? Did you find Hirano.

Alice: Hurry! Come with me! Hirano-chan's... Hirano-chan's in big trouble!

Y/n: Oh no...

Meanwhile...

Saya is seen looking around trying to find Hirano just like Y/n, Takashi, and Alice.

Saya: He didn't come this way? Dammit, fatty...

Until she spotted Saeko staring at the fish pond with admiration.

Saeko: What magnificent Kumonryu. I rarely see these ones.

Saya: You know a lot about colored carp too, not just kendo? It sounds like you have it all figured out.

Saeko: I'm good at a lot of things... but how would you know how I sound like.

Back with Alice and Y/n...

Alice and Y/n immediately run over to the other side of the yard to see Kohta surrounded by a group of older men who were ordering him to hand over the guns he had before he arrived at the estate.

Hirano: No! I won't do it!

Male 1: Cut the crap!

Male 2: Hurry up and hand them over!

Male 3: Listen up. Get ahold of yourself. You can't just keep those weapons to yourself. Now give them to us...

Hirano: No way! I-I'm borrowing these from someone! And I can use these better than anyone else here can!

Back with Saya and Saeko...

Saya: You know too, right? Todays that were the same as yesterday. Tomorrows that are the same as today. That happiness we took for granted is gone, and we probably won't ever get it back.

Saeko: Correct. Our cherished world has already fallen to ruin.

Back with Hirano...

Male 2: Hey. You know what to do. We don't have time this kid's childish crap!

The guards start surrounding Hirano ready to take the guns from Hirano by force.

Y/n: Hirano!

Back with Saya and Saeko...

Saeko: Therefore, we find ourselves back at the question you posed.

Saya: Yeah. Will we join them or go our own way? Our decision will change everything for us.

Back with Y/n....

Before any of guards can get close enough to Hirano. Y/n bursted through the guards, knocking two away and stood infront of Hirano. As black veins slowly start appearing on his arms as anger is presented on his face.

Hirano: Y-Y/n...

Y/n: Not another step! Or else I'll tear you all apart!

The guards step back when they saw Y/n. Suddenly someone yelled at them from a distance.

???: What's causing all the commotion?!

It was Souichiro along with Yuriko arriving at the scene.

Male 1: C-Commander!

Male 2: T-This kid thinks his guns are toys.

The veins started disappearing once again as Y/n turn around to give Hirano a helping hand.

Y/n: Get up, Hirano. It's time to stand up for yourself.

Hirano: R-Right!

Hirano got back up as Souichiro was now standing infront of both Y/n and Hirano.

Souchiro: I am Takagi Souchiro. Former lord of Tokonosu, and master of the tendo sogon-ryu. Tell me your name, young man!

Hirano: H-H-Hirano Kohta! Fujimi Academy. Class 2-B. Roster number 32!

Souchiro: Your voice is full of spirit, Hirano-kun. And you, young man...

Y/n: My name is Y/n L/n. A childhood friend of your daughter, Saya Takagi.

Souchiro: L/n... Hmmm. Yes, I remember that name. If I recall you have been a friend of my daughter's since she was little, were you not.

Y/n: Yes sir, and I still am. Hirano and I have been the ones protecting her in both you and your wife's absence. I recommend he keeps the guns. To be honest I'm growing tired of the inequality in this place...

Souchiro: Is that so... There is no doubt in my mind that you two had many hardships before you arrived here. So, no matter the situation, you don't plan on giving up your guns?

Hirano: No! I can't! Without these guns, I-I'll just be plain me again! I'll just be plain me! You can't do this to me! I finally realized that I can do something!

Souchiro: And what exactly can you do? Tell me.

Y/n then spoke for Hirano.

Souichiro: I see.

Just then, Takashi, Alice, Saeko, Saya, Rei, Shizuka, Miku, Kawamoto, and Taniuchi arrive on the scene.

Alice: Hirano-chan!

Alice went to hug Hirano.

Saeko: His bravery is something that I have witnessed with my own two eyes, Commander Takagi.

Saya: I've seen it too, Dad! Sure, he may be some good-for-nothing military nerd, but I would've been one of those corpses by now if it wasn't for him! Same for Y/n, he kept me safe and comforted me whenever I felt scared of the situation we were in. He made sure to keep his promise to bring me home and he did.

Hirano: Thank you... Y/n... Saya...

Y/n: No problem, Hirano. Remember we're in this together till the end.

Hirano nods agreement.

Souchiro: Very well, I'll allow the boy to keep his weapons. As for the two of you, Saya and Y/n L/n. Come with me, we have much to discuss.

Y/n: Understood. Takashi, Saeko mind taking Hirano back inside the mansion. We'll be back soon, hopefully.

Saeko/Takashi: Sure!

Y/n and Saya began to follow Souichiro and Yuriko back into the mansion.

Later....

Inside the mansion, Y/n and Saya were being lead to Souichiro's office.

Y/n: Saya, do you have any idea what your father wants with us.

Saya: I'm not sure, daddy doesn't call me to his office much.

The two of them were standing by Souichiro's office as he ordered all of the men in his office to exit.
Now, the office was empty as the four of them entered the office and Yuriko closed the doors.

Souchiro: Sit down.

Y/n and Saya sit infront of Souichiro's desk as he takes a seat himself with Yuriko sitting beside him.

Souchiro: Now that we are alone, let us talk. Your last name is "L/n" correct?

Y/n: Yes sir, L/n is my family's name. Forgive my interruption, but how do you know my father? I only know he sometimes talks about you but never told me about your relationship with him.

Yuriko: Allow me to answer that, your father is a dear friend of ours. He is Souichiro's dear brother in arms as they both served in the military together before he became a detective. Also, I have become acquainted with your dear mother. Once your mother and I were pregnant with you and Saya, your father and Souichiro made an agreement with each other that you and Saya would enroll at the same schools in order for you to know each other better.

Y/n: So, that would explain why Dad knew so much about you all. I've always wondered, but he never gave me an answer.

Souchiro: Y/n, have you managed to get into contact with your father and mother.

Y/n: I've tried, but to no avail. My father and my mother are currently outside of the city visiting family. They left about a week ago before all this happened.

Souchiro: I see. Saya...

Saya: Yes, daddy?

Souchiro: Give me your honest answer. What is your opinion of Y/n L/n?

Saya: Well, I can't deny it...he's as smart as me. He has stuck by my side ever since elementary school. Even before this all started....he did always...console me. And when we were kids, he told me that he liked being friends with me.

Yuriko: That's enough, dear. Now, Y/n dear.
What's your opinion of Saya?

Y/n: Well, I can't deny she is a beautiful young woman and she is incredibly smart and talented when it all comes down to it. Although, she can be very arrogant at times and she's very stubborn. But, I do enjoy her company and I have liked competing with her in some of our challenges together and she can be kind when she wants to be. Honestly, Saya's fine with me... I'm happy she's by my side.

Saya blush when she heard what Y/n thought about her while Souchiro gave a smile of the answer.

Souichiro: Good.

Y/n: What's good? I have no idea what's going on here.

Saya: Daddy, what's going on?

Souchiro: I had a feeling that you'd be the right one for my daughter.

Y/n: Excuse me, what?

Yuriko: You see my dearies, both of your father's made another agreement. If either of their wives gave birth a son and a daughter. They would marry and unite the Takagi and L/n families.

Both Y/n and Saya blush in shocked by the surprising news.

Y/n /Saya: MARRY?!?!

Souchiro: Yuriko and I have already signed. Your mother has signed as well. We'll just need your father's blessing and this will be an official marriage.

Y/n: Huh?!

Souchiro: Welcome to the Takagi Family.

Yuriko: We welcome you with open arms, Y/n.

Y/n continues looking on in shock as he think to himself.

Y/n: *thought* Ah shit... how do I explain this to everyone. More importantly to Saeko and Rei, I get the feeling I'm in so much trouble. At least it won't get worse than this...

Meanwhile...

Outside of the Takagi estate, someone was spying from outside while talking to someone on phone as it starts to rain.

Kurokami: Yes. Yes, that's right. Yes, they're getting ready to escape. If you ask them for help now, I'm sure they'll accept you, Shido-sensei.

On the other side of the phone, return to a familiar bus from the beginning of the outbreak. As the person on the other side of the phone was none other than Shido himself. He can be seen wearing a makeshift bandage around the eye he was shot at by Hirano and his crotch by Y/n.

Shido: *chuckle* Excellent.

In the background moans can be heard from Shido's group. As the students are seen touching one another or making out. Shido gave a sinister grin before hanging up the phone.
