all the girls and their plus ones met up inside the mall. they were popping in and out of shops, their pocket money turning into bags in their hands.

"guys i'm going to run out of money soon. hanbin only gave me half of my allowance because he caught me skipping yesterday." haerin whined, swinging gyuvin's hand. he stared at her with lovesick eyes. "you can use my money." he said without hesitating.

haerin's mood lifted quickly, dragging gyuvin into a shoe shop. "damn i want what they have.." jaeya and ricky muttered, staring off at the happy couple. miyeong and doah exchanged a knowing look and giggled.

gunwook and taerae looked at each other. " i bet two months." gunwook said and held out his hand. "i bet three and a half." taerae argued, grabbing the younger's hand and shaking it.

"boys.." the two girls sighed and locked arms, skipping into daiso. gunwook and taerae followed behind them, their arms full of shopping bags already. but they didn't mind, as long as their girls were happy.

ricky and jaeya looked around, noticing everyone else was gone. "want to go trick workers into giving us a bunch of free samples?" jaeya asked. ricky's innocent smile quickly turned mischievious, "is that even a question?" he responded. they then ran off giggling, bickering about what store to go to first.

the people around the mall were staring at the friend group. elders reminiscing their younger days. children hoping that they could grow up to be cool like that. some people looked at them in annoyance, yet the teenagers didn't care. they only cared about themselves in this moment.

hours went on, bags and more bags found their ways into the groups arms. "guys i only have like 25000 won left and i'm hungryyyy" miyeong whined, dragging her feet to make her point. doah patted her belly, "ooh me too! i want fries!"

the group quickly agreed to go eat at the little mcdonald's inside the mall. "i think miyeong and gunwook should go order!" the two nodded their heads after seeing everyone else agree.

the group told them what they wanted and handed them some more money. once gunwook and miyeong got up to go order, haerin got everyone's attention.

"i think we should leave. they have been too awkward." she started. ricky hummed in thought. "i thought it was just me. i can literally see the sexual tension in the air." jaeya whispered. doah slapped her shoulder but still nodded. "okay on three we grab or bags and dip."

"oh shit they are getting the food!"

"one... two... three... go!"
"gyuvin move!"
"come on doah!"

the group scrambled out the door and hid behind a starbucks stand.

miyeong and gunwook turned around with their hands full. everyone decided to just get happy meals since it was still a little too early to eat dinner. they had four meals each, eight in total to carry. they were too focused on their hands to notice the empty table they were approaching.

"ricky, they didn't have any more strawberry milkshakes so i got you- oh." miyeong stopped talking when she looked up and noticed that nobody was there anymore. "what the fuck!" she muttered.

gunwook picked up the napkin left on the table. "'this shit was too awkward, enjoy your date!' THOSE LITTLE SNAKES!!!" he read the note and threw it back on the table. miyeong started giggling, but it soon turned into a full on laugh. gunwook started laughing too.

the two teens enjoyed eight happy meals from mcdonald's that day. and they made a new memory that they would hold dear for a long time.
