After the shortened trip to her boss' office, she arrives outside of the male's door, and knocks on it. "Lucilin?" He asks from the inside of the room, his voice soft and quiet.
"Yes, sir?" She replies and he cracks open the door, letting her in, then peeking around the outside.
"Did anyone follow you?" He asks, looking over at the blonde who was removing her hair from the ponytail holder.
"Was someone supposed to? I took the shortcut to your office, so I might've gotten them lost." She flushes red and scratches behind her ear.
"Short..cut?" He inquires, tilting his head at her statement.
"Yes, the shortcut." She walks over to his desk and reaches for the map, before retracting her hand and looking over at him.
"May I?" She questions him, noticing that he wasn't looking at her..but behind her. Her cheeks flush and she clears her throat, gaining his attention.
"Ah! Yes, you may." He nods and she grabs the slip of paper from the table, walking over to him.
"You see, here, is where the breakroom is. If you go through the break room and into the unisex bathroom, there's a door to the very left, which is hidden behind a bookshelf, so I understand how you didn't notice. If you go into that door, then it leads you into this hallway, and your office is to the right." She smiles as she point as to each specific location.
"I knew that it wasn't a mistake to hire you." He chuckles under his breath and closes his eyes, leaning backwards on his feet.
"Ah, thank you, sir." She bows in respect and smiles softly in his direction.
"I consider you a healthy asset of this company, Lucilin. So, back to what I was discussing earlier, from when you leave your apartment building, to when you return, please watch your surroundings, and lock your doors.." He whispers as he leans toward her ear, continuing. "And, be careful of Erza." He sighs and steps away from her, his eyelids lowering as he stares at her.
"Careful..of Erza?" She asks and he shakes his head, folding his arms.
"..Forget I mentioned that, she's the last person you need to concern yourself with." He exhales heavily, seating himself in his desk-chair. "Erza is awfully kind, but she can be..too kind..sometimes." He explains vaguely, looking away from the confused blonde. "..Will you..sit with me?" He looks up at her, noticing her appalled expression.
"What I mean to say is...I'm trying to apologize. For all of the things that I've said..and done." He looks back to the ground, silently cursing himself for being so awkward. Now smiling, Lucy takes a seat in front of his desk, shifting the bangs out of her face. "..I can't do it." He buries his face in his palms and groans.
"It's alright, you don't have to. I'm just your assistant anyway." She giggles, grinning softly.
"..yes. Assistant." He mutters under his breath, tapping his chin.
"Please don't worry about my feelings." She stands up from the chair and he nods slowly..
"Oh, look at the time! I've kept you here to long, haven't I? Sorry about that. You may go home now." He dismisses her as he checks his wrist-watch.
"Alright. Goodnight, Mr. Dragneel." She bows and grabs her items, purposely dropping her purse as she needs the door. "Oops." She bends down to grab onto the fallen bag, revealing a little too much skin. Her boss, who was intently focusing on her body, looks away as she glances back at him. "As I said, goodnight, Mr. Dragneel." She smiles sweetly, beginning to exit the room.
"A-ah, yes! Goodnight." He replies, nipping at the flesh of his lip as she continues to walk, swaying her hips continuously. If this is a game..then two can play it. She smiles to herself as she presses the down button on the elevator.
