I took a walk outside after dinner. I lifted my head and watched the Moon above me.

The moon is beautiful,isn't it?

"I prefer the Sun. My power is way stronger under the sunlight"

"The beast from before is near"

I looked around and saw a familiar red head sitting on a roof.

I should go and say 'Hi'. I smirked.

I hopped on the roof where Gaara is on.

"Hey" I greeted.

He looked back and locked eyes with me. I found myself captivated by his mesmerising light cyan eyes. There was something in it.. Lust..

Lust for blood..

"Look like we found ourselves a cold blooded beast"

One of your kind. You are cold blooded as well,despite your power of warmth. I rolled my eyes at her.

"Hi" He finally said.

"Are you entering the Chunnin exams?" I asked.

"Yes"

"Hope we'll meet. I wish to fight you" I smirked.

"Deal" He smirked.

I turned on my heel and looked back at him over my shoulder.

"Until then" I bid my farewell and leaped away back to my home.

"Are you sure? His beast is very strong"

I like challenges,don't you? Don't tell me you are scared. I sneered.

"Hmph. I'm a demon. Demons are stronger than beasts. Why do you want to fight him,anyway?"

I don't know.. I just want to..

"You want to see him again,don't you?"

W-What?! NO!!

"I have been with you since you existed in this world,Rika. I know you better than anyone."

~NEXT DAY~

Once we entered the room,we were greeted by the other rookies. I looked around and met Gaara's gaze. I gasped and blushed a little at the sudden contact.

We stared at each other intensely until a certain voice broke us off our trance.

"Alright,brats. I am your proctor for the first exam and your worst nightmare" He smirked. "Take your places and we shall begin!"

We sat in our seats according to our given numbers. I looked around me and stopped my gaze on my right. My eyes widened.

G-Gaara?! Why didn't you warn me??

"I didn't see the need to" Moyasu smirked.

Grr...

"Listen,you brats. The first exam will be a written test. The only rule for this test is to NOT cheat. If you are found out 5 times,you will be disqualified along with your teammates."

Gasps and whispers were heard from everywhere.

"BEGIN!" He announced.

Everyone flipped their papers and start.

The questions are not in our level.. Even so,this can't stop me.

"Naruto is going to have a hard time answering.."

Oh right! Naruto! ARGH! That idiot! He can't answer these!! I'm sure Sakura can,Sasuke can manage,but Naruto? NO!

"If he attempts to cheat.. It's over"

But how can they answer these,anyway? This isn't for Genin level.

'If you are found out 5 times,you will be disqualified' So we are supposed to cheat,but not being found out?

"You are quite observant.." I rolled my eyes. "Anyhow,that seems to be the case"

But Naruto can't cheat.. He is freaking out!

I looked at Naruto panicking. Hinata looked like she was giving him answers,but he is too tensed.

Naruto is too dense to figure out the catch! I sighed as I put down my pencil after finishing the test.

'The 10th question will be revealed 15 minutes before the test ends.'

I read on the paper. I wonder..

"Careful,the kid is trying something" Moyasu warned.

I looked at Gaara from the corner of my eyes.

He covered one of his eyes with two fingers. In the palm of his free hand shows a swirl of sand forming an eyeball.

Oh? Interesting..

I removed my arms from my paper and allowed him to lead his eyeball to examine my paper. He looked at me from the corner of his eye and accepted it.
