Lily may be her first name, but she despises it for some reason, and therefore insists everyone in calling her Merysle.

Merysle at first glance may seem like a kind-hearted, motherly person as whenever she smiles, adorable dimples would appear. You would think that she's funny and witty but you know what they usually say—

Don't judge a book by its cover.

Merysle is actually a sly, resourceful girl who loves to play pranks on people, thus making her mischievous. She is also a tad impatient and absolutely hates it when someone tells her to calm down. She also gets envious easily and tries to impress people by fitting in, but she's over that since she knows the truth — she's never gonna be able to fit in.

She is also known for her uncanniness as people have seen her whispering to herself many times. In truth, it's one of her habits. She whispers to herself to comfort herself.

Merysle is also extremely stubborn. She absolutely despises it when someone tells her what to do or if someone attempts to control her. Not only that but sarcasm is her number one language. These traits made people call her grumpy since she's always frustrated at everyone when she's in a bad mood, which in this case, most of the time. This also means she is short-tempered.

Those traits of Merysle are merely what people know her as, which is true, except deep down, Merysle is caring and loving. She is imaginative and dreams about becoming a great baker one day with by Sir Claus by her side. Despite her being imaginative, she kind of gives up on things easily and thinks negative often.

Also, Merysle might be a bit snappy with a cold and ignorant attitude. This is because she's afraid of becoming attached to people and then them leaving her as if she's nothing but a broken rag doll. This causes her to be a bit cautious and distant at times too.

backstory

Merysle was born on the snowy, chilly midnight of December 5th. She was raised to hate Christmas like her older brother, but only ended up loving it. Of course, she couldn't tell the truth to her father as she was afraid of the consequences so she continued to act as if Christmas was disastrous.

Later on, she found her beloved skill in baking. Even her older brother, who she hates, admits that her cookies are baked to perfection. This leads to Merysle be filled with joy. She is also really close to their family pet, Max and loves him more than her older brother.

Despite Merysle acting like her father, they never got along really well as they still had different interests. Thus, this makes her father prefer her older brother over her. Her childhood friend turns out to be the snowman, even though their complete opposites.

When she turned seventeen, the letters from Winter Academy arrived and both the children of the grinch were accepted. But right before they entered the academy, the grinch said that they were to manipulate Santa Claus' children and destroy Christmas once and for all. Of course, the older brother immediately agreed but Merysle was hesitant. In the end, she reluctantly agreed.
