first of all, Alita has a little bit of what you may call a fierce attitude, a passion as hot as hell and a feisty temperament. she is extremely stubborn to the core and refuses to be tamed. she possesses a wild soul and a huge heart, but shows it in a very indifferent way. she is the epitome of a dangerous young gal and you should never mess with her. she claims her title as being frightening as thunder and is most likely one of the scariest young girl you've ever met. she just likes and tends to threaten people that way. this makes people see her as a very tough girl who is fearless and isn't afraid of anything, making her quite brace and courageous too.

Alita is also extremely determined and ambitious, always staying true to what she believes. this also means that she's not the type to be indecisive, meaning that once she makes a decision, that's it—she's a very hard person to change her mind once she's made that decision. never get fooled by her beautiful looks too, for you should never mess with her either. she is often difficult to impress and tends to use a sort of emotionless and monotonous tone most of the time. she also loves to speak fluent sarcasm to avoid showing anyone a satisfied reaction from her, which means that Alita is often unfeeling and hard to read as well as rather cold-hearted. this is usually a bad thing because it makes her seem to others that she's on the edge and very unapproachable.

she is very bold and outspoken, especially being a feminist she loves to stand up for what she believes is right. Alita has a voice and she isn't afraid to use it. she has an axe and she isn't afraid to use that either— unfortunately, she's the type to get annoyed by everyone else easily. she has a tad bit of a short temper and trust me you, it's very easy to get her offended or mad and you do not want her to feel either of those emotions towards you. though it is truly unfortunate because Alita has no control over her anger.

although aside from the façade she puts on, once you get to know her, she is very loyal and compassionate. she is faithful and very trustworthy. she is the best liar (which is not usually considered a good thing) but can be quite frank when she wants to be. Alita is very caring and protective towards her loved ones, as she is sympathetic and lovely. she is actually a bit of an odd fun-loving gal once you get to know her, very unlike the tough blonde you usually recognise. she also likes to act a bit child-like at times, though very rarely ever shows it. this also means that Alita is a master at hiding her emotions, such as feeling lonely most of the time but not showing it or telling anyone about it.

overall, Alita is a strong, adventurous gal who is ready to conquer the world (not literally—). she is extremely hardworking and isn't afraid to stand up to herself and others when necessary either.

[ BACKSTORY ]

Alita Tempest Hofferson was born an only child and is the only daughter to the general of Berk, Hatya Hofferson. it is because of this that her mother is often strict in training Alita to become the next general, and she often stresses herself out because of this however Alita still manages. in fact, she is much more closer to her mother rather than her trade-loving father. on her 8th birthday, her mother had planned out an entire day just for her so that she could understand and feel like what it would be if she were to become general in the future. to have all the respect, all the power. Alita honestly felt amazed, however, she didn't like so much attention unlike some of the other people. she much preferred working in the shadows. however during that day, together, they went to train the rookie warriors, giving them all they've got and training them to their very best. right after that, they planned out battle formations with the chief. however as great as her birthday seemed so far, things went downhill from there. soon, a group of kids who had agreed to help the general Cake along to be troops with Alita as their general. they were to 'kill the dragons' that the farmers have set for them, like some sort of game. it's basically just a herd of sheep dressed similar to dragons and they needed to find a way to round the so called dragons up for slaughter. unfortunately, during the game, one of the kids tried to take charge and pushed Alita aside, stating that she, being a girl, wouldn't fit for the job. angered at that sexist statement, the birthday girl ended up beating the boy up to the point where the parents NEEDED to intervene. this shows how much of a bad reaction Alita takes towards sexist comments, obviously being a feminist herself. when she saw the state that the boy was in, Alita was hit harshly by a wave of guilt, although her mother had begun scolding the boy instead and aiding her own daughter biased-ly. everyone else began agreeing with the general because, well, she's the general. this just made Alita even more guilty and right then and there, this biased side of her mother made the birthday girl shout at her, saying about how it's all her fault for starting the fight as well. then after telling the boy to try to punch her, he could only manage a small, barely left mark on her left cheek, she left to go home all alone. she was done with her birthday. since then, she decided to prove to everyone else in the future that she's not a pawn to be played with in her mom's shadows. that Alita Tempest Hofferson is strong, brave and fearless, and most importantly—herself.

perhaps if her mother wasn't the general and if her mother had never taught her from the beginning that dragons are wicked creatures, than perhaps Alita would've had a different opinion on dragons. however since that's not the case, Alita's opinion on dragons is that they are horrible creatures who hunt the Vikings, vile creatures who have no mercy upon them—and Alita wants to kill them all, hence why she's training her hardest to do so.

Alita is very strong and very tough, it will be quite hard to knock her down or try to kill her. she will never let the most pettiest of things stop her, she won't hesitate, and she won't let the highest and hardest of obstacles get in her way. she will prevail whatever will stop her, for Alita might as well be the epitome of a beautiful destruction.

one physical strength belonging to Alita is her agility and speed. she can avoid attacks rather easily because she is very nimble and has a short height. she's also very quick on her feet and doesn't slip easily.

Alita is excellent at precision. she is quite observant, analytical and intuitive too. she is very accurate in her knowledge and her use and aim of weapons. these qualities is what makes Alita a very good warrior in general.

Alita tends to get ticked off really easily, meaning that she's got a short fuse and a short temper. this causes her to say a bunch of sarcastic remarks before actually going to do the harsh physical thing, because apparently, Alita is sort of impulsive in some ways and isn't so good with fighting back with her words when thinking rapidly and impulsively.

Alita is normally blunt, straightforward and hard to impress when not being sarcastic. she prefers to get to the point straight away and often doesn't sugarcoat anything she says. she is also quite indifferent when speaking at times, showcasing her emotionless façade.

she always puts on this emotionless and heartless façade around the people, which is often considered a bad thing because no one likes to see an indifferent, edgy girl. but that's just who Alita is. she apparently finds it much easier to hide her true colours and to hide what she feels most of the time as to her, emotions are a hard thing to understand and control.

when getting carried away or when being impulsive, those are weaknesses found within Alita Tempest Hofferson. whenever that happens, she tends to cuss under her breath. she is easily a prey to her emotions and often feels guilt once accidentally beating up an innocent person, such as that sexist boy on her 8th birthday party. this is a weakness because it means that Alita simply doesn't think before she does at times and those are not the traits a general should have.

just because she's two years older than her doesn't mean that Alita is intimidated by her. in fact, Alita merely sees Auriga as a simple obstacle to get past, a fun rival to mess with, a great challenge to overcome. yet the only thing that the two share in common might as well be their strong believe in the rights of females. other than that, they've just got this fun rivalry going on most of the time, and Alita secretly admires her, though not like Auriga needs to know.

Valkyrie might actually be Alita's only friend, or at least, probably the only 'decent' person out of everyone. sure, she's a little odd and mischievous in Alita's eyes as well as a bully but she's pretty okay when she wants to be. decent as in, at least Alita can have a normal conversation with her without any narcissistic remarks being cut in between the conversation.
