Minerva might as well be the most intelligent being on Earth, for she might as well surpass the great Albert Einstein.  She's intelligent, wise and definitely clever. People would call her a know-it-all but, well, it's no lie that she's practically a walking dictionary. She is also creative, analytical and intellectual. She is even quite resourceful and is basically the only person within the group who is able to use her brain for most situations. Minerva always finds a solution to every problem, and if she doesn't, well, she becomes filled with extreme determination and will practically travel to the end of the world just to find that solution. This is often considered a bad thing for it means that she can be cunning and manipulative just to get what she wants. She isn't afraid to speak out her mind, which is good, however it also means that she owns an uncontrollable mouth. She can be a tad bossy at times and think that she can say whatever she wants to say, just because she can. This leads her to become mildly snobbish at times.

Aside from that, Minerva is unfortunately close-minded. She assumes a lot of wrong things and takes them for granted. Although she's not an impulsive person, she is the type to plan out an idea or a strategy first before going head to head into what they call 'fun' or 'partying hard'. She also gets extremely irritated by others easily, especially since they're idiots and well, she's surrounded by idiots. She is a very blunt and straightforward person, for she won't hesitate to criticise you. In fact, Minerva doesn't care much about what others think of her since she secretly has a carefree soul. At times, she can be a little bit of a show off with her knowledge. Most of the time, she unknowingly brags about how intelligent and smart she is...which she actually is so no one really has a say in that. She's also practically the strategist and the buzzkill of the group. She's super creative, inventive and as mentioned earlier, resourceful. This can also lead her to be quite talented in a lot of things such as solving a long math equation within a snap and painting a masterpiece; thus making her a fast learner as well. She's also very attentive and has photographic memory. She's not the type to forget things easily. Fortunately, she's a good listener and in desperate situations, she will reluctantly allow you a shoulder to cry on, this making her a caring yet motherly woman whenever she wants to be. She's also kind of the realist of the group.

Even if she seems chill most of the time, Minerva is actually short-tempered. She doesn't test well at all and is often the first one to react to a bad idea. She hates going with the flow and absolutely prefers everything to be planned out first. Some might even say that she looks cute when angered, especially when her cheeks flush red when so. Despite that, Minerva is quite the competitive gal. She's always up for a challenge and would never back down from one. This leads us to her next, surprising characteristic which is being courageous, bold, and valiant. Unfortunately whenever she gets worked up, stressed out, or nervous, the poor gal starts rambling a lot and becomes talkative. She is in fact, an introvert and prefers to keep her distant from others, which is another flaw of hers. Now Minerva isn't perfect and she knows that, however she is one of those rare people who doesn't mind making mistakes. Why? It's because she knows that she'll learn from her mistakes and therefore she doesn't make a big deal about it.

Minerva doesn't know how to shut her mouth when necessary, which can lead to her accidentally saying her thoughts out loud too. Not many people realise this but she is an insecure person. She secretly thinks that she's not good enough, therefore she stresses herself out and became a very hardworking individual. She's determined to prove to everyone else that she's not dumb and that she's full of knowledge with an attitude. Minerva does not understand her own emotions much and therefore she has trouble expressing them sometimes. Also, this girl? She's certainly got attitude for sure. She rolls her eyes every time an 'idiot' speaks and if she isn't blunt, she will use a lot of sarcasm for her language. Other than that, she's quite the fun girl once you get to know her, despite her having an upright exterior.

No one knows why but the dear girl is slightly obsessed with watching vine and for some reason, quotes vine a lot. Most of the time whenever she's not being a smart alec, you'd see her watching vine and laughing her ass off so beware.

online gaming
Minerva might as well be the queen of online gaming for she is a beast whenever she plays online gaming. Most people tend to back down from any challenge she gives them that includes online gaming since, well, she seems to always win and no one is able to beat her so far.

Yes, she might watch vines sometimes but during other times, she secretly likes to watch anime — the adventurous, fantastical one's of course. So far, she's watching Fairy Tail, Snow White with the Red Hair and Attack On Titan and she loves them all!

studying & homework
Yippee, we found our first human who actually likes to study and do homework. This is often what keeps her quiet and focused as well as occupied rather than partying hard with others. Besides, studying and doing homework is a great excuse (according to Minerva) for not partying at all.

She absolutely loves to do so! Not only textbooks though, but novels and magazines. She loves to read a good book here and there, though not all the time for that is when she's watching vine and stuff.

She. Hates. Them. Minerva also dislikes crowded areas, extremely noisy places and humans, in general. She swears that she's even allergic (she's actually not) to all the flashing, colourful blinding lights during most crazy parties.

Let's say that she will freak when she merely sees these, and will definitely refuse an offer of so. She once tasted it before to give it a bit of a shot but immediately, she found the taste a tad weird and disgusting. Although, that's not the full reason as to why she dislikes alcohol and drinking.

This too. No one knows why but she just does so. She even avoids any smokers in general and tends to keep her distance far, far, far away from them.

idiots
Well, this is a bit of an understatement. When she says that 'I'm surrounded by idiots' or mutters 'idiots' in general, it's usually meant towards the people around her. So yeah, she dislikes idiots and dunces.

heights
She dislikes them because she is deathly afraid of them. Hence why she prefers staying on the ground and will refuse the offer of going to somewhere that's located in a super high area.

Honestly, Minerva hates the rain because it usually makes her clothes rather soaked and wet whenever she stands under it for too long. She also dislikes thunder and basically anything that has to do with the rain.

Strengths ||

• ANALYSATION - Minerva is an analytical gal who prefers to observe within the shadows. She is brilliant at analysation and certainly possesses intellectual skills.

• INTELLIGENCE - She's supremely smart, everyone knows that. She practically has the highest IQ ever in the history of human beings. Need a smart person to help you? Well Minerva Althesa is the perfect person who'll help you! If she wants to that is, the girl can be a tad picky at times.

• PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY - Minerva has great memory and rarely ever easily forgets things. She doesn't even need to write down notes for the second a person says something, she will remember //exactly// what they said. Cool, eh?

Weaknesses ||

• FEARS - Minerva has many irrational fears and it could be a weakness for it could be an advantage for others to use in her. Her fears affect her really bad up to the point of her being petrified or her heart beat increasing ever so quickly.

• SHARP TONGUE - Minerva has gotten into trouble many times because of how uncontrollable her mouth and tongue is. She says what she says and means it, all the time. Wether it be harsh or nice, she means it. This is a weakness for it means that she can be cruel at times without knowing and it isn't a great thing to be wicked or cruel.

• JUDGEMENTAL - She is judgemental, no doubt about that. She is picky about who she hangs out with and the people in general. This is seen as a weakness because it shows how little respect she has for others and how close-minded she might actually be.

Backstory ||

Minerva was originally born in Morocco, Spain, however her family had moved to New York City when she was merely three years old and ended up becoming rich. Her family members included her older brother and both her parents. She had a close relationship with all of them and so, Minerva had lived a normal childhood with a typical school life. However, much went downhill from there. You see, Minerva wasn't always smart—surprise, surprise!—as she often had trouble with high school as a freshman. When she entered high school when she was around fourteen as a freshman, Minerva wasn't able to adapt to the area and found it much difficult to cope with. To make it slightly worse, her parents had high expectations for her. Since she has a close relationship with them and didn't want to fail them, she had begun to stress herself out by staying up late at night just to finish off her homework perfectly and attempting to understand each subject at school that she didn't understand. This still resulted in her earning bad grades from a lack of sleep. Her parents had begun to be disappointed in her, especially her mother who had begun to become emotionally abusive. Whenever she felt angered or deeply disappointed in her daughter's grades, she would start to take it all out on Minerva. Most of it was due to the alcohol her mother had begun to drink to 'relax' and it often happened when her father was out on work and besides, her older brother went to boarding school in France and barely had time to visit them, so technically Minerva was all alone. She never really had the strength to stand up for herself for she was a rather shy girl back then. When her brother had finally came home from break, he saw how tired Minerva was and how she kept on stressing herself out. To give her relaxation and hope, her brother had encouraged her and introduced her to Marvel. Minerva fell in love with the fandom that day and felt more relaxed after being introduced to Marvel. Soon, she had begun to build up self-confidence. After that, she aced her grades well and her mother had stopped becoming emotionally abusive towards her, though she didn't quite apologise as well for she thought that her scolding Minerva was the reason as to why she had suddenly aced her grades. Anyways, Minerva continued to rise up to become the best. She was hardworking, always studying and soon developed a super knowledgeable yet furiously intelligent mind. No sooner was she accepted into Harvard. Minerva was ecstatic and had lived a fine life after that. Well, as normal as it could be.
