PART TWO !
'don't get too close, it's dark inside'

'i know her, she's a real hard case'

first of all, azura is considered weird, peculiar and odd by many. she is actually an eccentric person who possesses an uncanny interest in strange things such as a craving to smell petrol most of the time, to bend a fork and attempt to put it into a glass jar as well as put a ladybug in it as some sort of 'lucky jar', etc. this is usually considered a bad trait of her, even if there isn't anything wrong with being estrange. regardless, many don't mind her being peculiar since most blame her peculiarity on her curse, though that's not really the case.

'i really don't care'

azura is the type of person with a stone mind; meaning that once she makes her decision, that is it. she might as well be the most stubbornest person on earth 'cause...have you even met her?! she refuses for someone to tame her wild soul. she can even be considered a tad arrogant and opinionated that way since this gal always wants and thinks for her to be be right all the time. she also doesn't care what others think of her. at all. wether it'd be something bad or something horrible, she just doesn't care.

'to infinity and beyond!'

azura is definitely an adventurous, audacious, bold and lionhearted gal. she isn't afraid to take risks and she certainly has a knack for exploring the outdoors or at least discovering something new. she gets easily fascinated by the most pettiest of things and this can either be considered weird to others or simply adorable to watch. unfortunately, despite her being venturesome, azura is insecure. it is because of her curse does she sometimes get a bit wary of adventures, depending on when her curse occurs. other than that, she's pretty good at hiding her insecurities and is still quite a tough girl.

'roll your eyes some more, maybe you'll actually manage to find a brain back there someday'

all hail the queen of sassiness! or sarcasm. nah, maybe it's just exaggeration. however this does indicate that azura is indeed sassy and sarcastic whenever she wants to be. she can get quite cheeky and mischievous at times, though despite it supposedly being an obnoxious trait, it actually fits her in an adorable way. she is the type of gal who loves to tease others a lot, although knowing her limits. she also happens to have a high set of creativity, imagination and intelligence, always being able to think quick on her feet and thinking outside of the box. this leads her to be an inventive person. however, azura may never admit it but she can be full of naivety at times, sometimes being clueless of a particular situation and unaware of her surroundings.

despite what you think, azura is talkative. maybe a bit too talkative, perhaps. although despite how much of a chatterbox she may seem, the cause of this is usually because of her wide broad conscious mind of imagination and not because of how anxious she gets. she may seem quite talkative but azura is smart enough to never reveal anything secretive or anything related to her curse.

- azura has a very close relationship with her, from baking cookies together to having the same interests, they have an extremely close relationship indeed. azura can not imagine life without her grandmother.

- azura never had a great relationship with her mother, which is sort of saying something. it was more of a 'I know her but i'm not close to her' kind of relationship. in her opinion, it was like a stranger was living in her house. though despite their distant relationship, the mother/daughter still cared for one another deeply, hence why azura felt devastated when she passed away, and regretted not having more time to spend with her.

- azura had a much closer relationship with her father rather than her mother, that's for sure. the two weren't as inseparable but they could be seen as so. they would always spend time with one another, trying new things and exploring/taking on new adventures with one another, etc. azura will never admit it but she misses her father more than her mother. oops. biased much?

- azura also didn't have much of a close relationship with her elder brother. however, the two did have special moments where they would tease one another, have pillow fights, sleepovers and basically do whatever siblings do. unfortunately, he somewhat disappeared after the death of their parents and neither azura nor her grandmother has heard from him since.

Backstory |

azura grew up in a cottage near the woods with her two parents, her elder brother and her lovable grandmother. as mentioned earlier, she doesn't get along so much well with her elder brother and mother. indeed, she spends so much of her time chasing butterflies and exploring new things with her father. the two were like grand explorers! searching every part and every bit of nature for new things. whilst azura found most of her passion and hobbies through what her grandmother had taught her such as baking, cooking, sewing and painting. in fact, her grandmother and father were practically the only ones who accepted her for who she was, despite her scary and awful curse. all was pretty well for azura, even if she still doesn't talk much to her mother and elder brother. until one particular day, azura insisted on following her grandmother to the market to go outside and see what the market stalls were selling. in the end after a few begging here and there coming from azura, her parents agreed under one condition: that her elder brother follows them, just to ensure that they are safe. azura reluctantly agreed. unfortunately when the trio arrived home after a long, busy day at the market, they set foot around the woods to spot their home burning up in flames. azura felt so frightened back then, afraid of what was going to happen next. by the time the fire department arrived, it was too late. azura's parents had died and nothing was ever the same after that. sure, her grandmother had found a new place to live in and took custody of azura and her elder brother, except, her elder brother had mysteriously vanished three days after the death of their parents. azura assumes that when their parents died, it was too much for him so thus he left. while her grandmother merely secretly thought that it was because henry had somehow blamed it all on azura, and couldn't handle being around her anymore as it only resulted as a reminder of the day their parents died, thus he left. no one knows for sure but that was how it was. azura continued to live an average life with her grandmother after that, and tries to leave her past behind, hoping that one day it wouldn't suddenly come back to haunt her.

PART THREE !
'if i lay here, will you lie with me and just forget the world?'

Strengths |

- lionhearted. as mentioned earlier, azura might as well be the epitome of a lion(ess): strong, brave, fearless and prideful. she tries her best not to let her insecurities get in the way of her enjoying her life while it lasts. she is the type of gal who wants to live life to the fullest, by finding new adventures, experiencing things she's never experienced before and most importantly, be able to show her true colours to the world. this girl is not afraid to show who she is, and most admire her for that.

- resourceful. high intelligence, high creativity, high imagination, azura's got it all. she's also especially resourceful and thinks quick on her feet. she is able to get out of situations easily, wether it'd be a serious situation or a social situation. regardless, azura is simply a talented and passionate girl.

- positive attitude. there's never a dull moment when you're around her! azura knows how to keep your spirits up and how to lift your spirits up too whenever you're feeling down. she is generous and will always allow you to cry on her shoulder when necessary. she knows what exact words to use in order to soothe someone and has learned how to keep positive most of the time.

Flaws |

- ms. chatterbox. even her own grandmother says so that she talks to much! in fact, she was the one who originally came up with that nickname for her. azura just can't help it, even if she tries to stay silent for just one minute she can't! she's simply a wondrous girl with way too many stories to tell another person.

- insecurities. as mentioned earlier, azura has her insecurities. she may seem brave on the outside, but deep down, you never know when she's feeling anxious. she is insecure because she is deeply afraid of her curse. who knows where she even goes, who knows where the shadows take her whenever someone touches her?

- naivety. she's way too stubborn to admit it, it's sad but it's true. azura can just be too naïve at times. no matter how many times you give her hints about the atmosphere and what's going on, she's just clueless. she pretends to understand something sometimes but truly, her naivety can get in her way at times.

- stubbornness. it is earlier known that azura might as well be the most stubbornest person on earth. wether it'd be admitting the truth or doing something, she will simply refuse and thus stubbornness gets in the way. azura can even be blinded by her own arrogance sometimes, and that is still considered a weakness. nevertheless, azura does know her limits.

- uncanniness. well, there's nothing wrong with being the black sheep of a family filled with white sheep but her estrange-ness can indeed lead to being one of her weakness. this is because acting unnatural and peculiar can maker her seem as if she is a crazy person and that's usually what most people get from her as a first impression. as a result, most people tend to distance themselves away from her and sadly, azura doesn't exactly understand why.

Why They Joined? |

- apparently azura originally didn't want to—it was more so or less her grandmother who had forced her to. yes, azura doesn't take instructions from anyone but! her grandmother. her grandmother is the only one who can convince the girl's mind. azura could only hope that the selection would be worth it after all. so technically, you could say that she joined because of her grandmother.

Thoughts On Selection |

- azura doesn't really know what to think. all she is able to think about is if anyone would like her? if anyone (more so or less the prince) is going to love her for her? azura is beginning to get anxious about joining the selection, after all, let's hope that her insecurities don't get the best of her.

- she is in fact, a sagittarius. being adventurous, carefree, loud and a tad wild will make it sort of obvious to know. her exact birthday is on december 10th

- her favourite flower is the queen of the night and her favourite plant is strongylodon macrobotrys, mostly because they aren't anybody else's favourites. azura also happens to be an expert at identifying plants, flowers and the wilderness. after all, she grew up near the woods and her father had taught her those things

- azura has a strong attraction towards any dessert that involve red velvet. it's as if she craves it everyday. literally, her favourite food/dessert of all time is red velvet. take her red velvet or insult it, and she won't hesitate to scratch your eyes out. the gal can be a bit sensitive at times.
