Tikki walks into my room and I roll my eyes. It's half past two in the morning and Plagg is passed out on the couch. "How long has he been asleep?" She giggles as she pulls a blanket onto him, running her hand through his hair lovingly.

"A while," I shrug my shoulders. "Why do you care about him so much?"

"I know things about him no one else would care to listen too and things that would eat him inside out forever, and are. He's been through a lot and I'm just trying to make sure he lives through it all."

"He told me," Tikki looks at me. "How everyone in his crap life ruined it," she lowers her head. "But you. He brought you up a lot. About how you saved him a lot from dying."

"Yeah," Tikki coughed into her hands. "Well we do do know you're in perfect health and-"

"You've said that before."

"I know. But we still can't let you out." I've gathered that.

"Why? Nothing is wrong with me."

"You could still have the potential to-"

"Plagg told me I have the secret to immortality." I interrupt her again.

Tikki sighs. "Well we don't know that for sure. You can't get majorly ill and you have a gene that stops cancer cells and turns them back to good healthy cells but we don't know what'll happen if we let you out into the world."

"You won't know unless you do it." She rolls her eyes and walks out of the room. I look at the window Plagg left open, slid on my slippers and crawl as close as I can without waking him up. I jump over him and sit on the windowsill and without another thought, I start to slid though the opening only to jump at the sound of Plaggs voice.

"If you do that you'll fall five stories." He sits up as I crawl back into the room and sit on the couch across from him.

"I just want to go outside."

"We don't know what'll happen if we let you out." Plagg crosses his arms.

I go quiet. "Can...Can you take me outside?"

"Tikki would kill me." Plagg laughs and I sigh and move to my bed.

-+Two Days Later+-

Adrien laughs as we dart through the hospital. We duck behind a wall and I giggle as we dart out the hospital doors and into the parking lot. He looks at me as I look up at the night sky. He stayed late just to do this for me. "Come on." He smiles as he runs down the street. I follow him as my legs start to grow weak.

"Marinette!" Plagg runs after us and I curse as he stops us, grabbing Adrien and I stop. "Why the fuck would you run away like that!"

"I want to be outside Plagg and the only way to know if I get sick is to be outside," God I sound like that girl from Everything, Everything. "Just let me do this."

"No. Look at yourself Marinette you can barely stand," I look at my legs as they tremble. "Now get back inside before Tikki finds out you snuck out and you," he glares at Adrien. "Don't you ever think you can just sneak her out again, without me."

"W-What?"

"I want you to go outside Marinette, really, but you can't just sneak out," he glares at me. "Now get back inside and next time Adrien is over we can talk about the next time you can go outside now let's go." I slowly follow him as Adrien stands in the street, Plagg and me walking into the hospital and back to my room without other nurses or Tikki noticing.
