Why did she have to be the one with all this going on? "Look, I appreciate you care about me, but I haven't had a good night's sleep for days. Spring just arrived and I need sleep if I'm going to go on patrol." Phos laid down on her bed.

Phos jolted up. She heard that word before. "Wh...What did you say?"

The sea king shut up. Phos dodged the gems coming in from patrol. She launched herself toward a cliff. AHHHH! WHAT ARE YOU- "Shut UP!" Phos landed on the top of the cliff. She collapsed as a change in wind jolted her.

"Who are you?"

Phos turned. It was a gem. She had silver hair, gray eyes, and an old spring uniform that seemed to have been patchworked with some old linen. She had tall boots and a type 3 sword. But the weirdest part was that she had only one arm. Her left arm was missing.

"Who are you?" asked Phos.

The gem smiled. "I'm Mercury. Are you Phosophilte?" Phos jolted. This gem...what was she? She was so...scary. Yet there was something familiar about her. "Phos!" Diamond yelled. Sensei followed her. He stopped.

"Suigin?"

"Sensei?" Phos started. "Do...you know this gem?"

Mercury nodded. "Sensei, huh? Jadeite would be proud. So yes, I used to be his Pātonā. Or, partner. We kind of got separated when the mass attack happened."

"Dia, Phos, please leave." Dia silently ran out. Phos stayed.

"Sensei...i want to hear. I know the lunarians used to be good. The sea king told me. She also told me you were the only survivor. So... then how did she survive?"

"Good question. How did you make it Suigin?"

"Do you want to know? Well.." Her eyes glinted. It made Phos feel weird. "How about we go to the school and sleep?"

Phos nodded. So did sensei. This feeling made her feel more free than ever. She moved toward the school in a trance. She felt a presence as she walked into her room. What are you doing? If you haven't thought it- PHOS! PHOS WAKE UP! CINNABAR IS IN DANGER!

Phos jolted up. The sun was coming up. It was nearly dawn. She saw a five ray lunarian. Toward the cliff where cinnabar slept. Cinnabar was in danger. She had to save her. Phos grabbed An-Her sword, then ran. She made a promise. Phos was not going to let Cinnabar get taken because of her. No, she wouldn't.
