From a bullet in the lungs, alone suffocating for hours in the forest, and in the cold of the night.

Josette Saltzman was murdered by Malivore. (Go figure why he decided to kill her with a gun)

And Malivore was (finally) killed by Hope Mikaelson.

Hope, who has her newly activated vampire found in her body first, Josie was not completely dead but a few seconds after she took the witch in her arms she was.

Josie, is have died in the woods, but she died in the arms of the girl she loves.

(Hope screamed at her that she loves her and is in love with her, after Josie died)

It's poetic...

What is much less poetic is seeing Hope Mikaelson leave school and slaughter poor people because she has turned off her humanity.
