Chapter 1
Amel Bent - J'étais celle
Please don't leave me, please I love you... My love come back to me I beg you don't leave me alone!
Josie Saltzman wakes up with a start, Hope's voice echoes slightly in her head. The young witch realizes that she is in a large house that she does not know.
Josie, finally recognizes it, it is the house of Mikaelson in Mystic Falls.
But what was she doing there?
The last thing she remembers is... Her death.
Josie realizes that she is really dead and that she is a kind of ghost when she walks through some walls to the living room.
On the couch, watching television was Hope Mikaelson.
The siphoness slowly approaches Hope, to take a closer look at her.
"Whoever you are, you just signed your death warrant. Said abruptly Hope with a disconcerting coldness without taking her eyes off the television.
Josie doesn't know how this is possible, how can Hope hear it?
"Hope?" Josie calls as she moves closer to the tribe.
Within seconds, Hope uses her super speed to be in front of Josie, looking her straight in the eye.
"No matter how much of a heretic you have become, I'm not going back there. Pass the message on to your father." Hope explains in a threatening tone.
It is at this point that Josie realizes that Hope Mikaelson has turned off her humanity.
"I am not a heretic." Josie replies without ever taking her eyes off the tribe. "I am a ghost."
Hope steps back and now looks at the siphoness with suspicion before getting angry "why are you here? Go bother your sister instead, I've got bigger fish to fry than your problem."
"I can't." says Josie, she doesn't know why she's answering this, it's like she knows but at the same time she doesn't know "My soul is attached to you."
"Oh great, missing more than that..." mumbles the Mikaelson as she sits back down on the sofa"
Josie sits down next to the tribrid, she tries several times to ask Hope questions but Hope ignores her, so Josie finally pays attention to the television.
Ghost Whisper ?
"It's so funny, we're literally watching a show about ghosts and spirits, and I'm one now," Josie said happily.
"I'm watching this show, you're just a figment of my imagination."
"Is that why you're ignoring me?"
"Leave me alone."
"But you're the one who asked me to stay."
"Nonsense. I've been telling you to get lost. "
"When I died," Josie begins, she sees Hope tense up, "you asked me not to leave you and... you told me you loved me too."
Hope swallows, her eyes are slightly wetter than usual. "I..."
Silence ensues Hope says nothing else, only the television emits sound.
Josie wonders if she has struck a chord. Maybe Hope hasn't completely turned off her humanity?
The Saltzman takes a deep breath, she has so many questions, but Josie doesn't want to break the silence.
How long has she been dead?
Did she have a funeral?
Did her mother come back?
What Josie really wants to know is how Lizzie is doing.
