Hiiii
Haven't been on...very long time...yup.
Ugh I feel like there was something important to say, but it's gone from my mind :/
Will say this, I am going to re-combine my riding journal with this because I really only need one horse book right now considering how inactive I am in both books!
So yeah. If I remember what I was gonna post...I'll post it!

Post Script: cute kitten photos, because I wanna post pics of her. Her name is Violet!
At about eight and a half weeks old <3
Fell asleep on my hand....(about 11 weeks)
She tore up paper towels. Was very proud of herself XD (ten weeks)
And now Boots, because she shall always be my favorite and amazing cat.
Just hanging outside (about 17 YEARS old). She is amazing. Still super strong and outgoing. Only problem is that she is mostly deaf... Has pretty much retired when it comes to hunting lol! But she's still very healthy, has amazing teeth for her age, and goes outside every day. To think she went through a broken jaw, and what we think was a stroke! She is just so amazing.
Oh, and despite being retired, she has decided to do something completely random in her old age—hunt rodents that are bigger then mice but smaller then grey squirrels.
Honestly it makes no sense. She dumps off red squirrels, chipmunks, and—her specialty, I kid you not—flying squirrels.
And she always puts them in the same spot.
I don't know if that means something, but at least they are easy to find!

Wow this has turned into a cat book XD anyways, just going to add that yes, I am very partial to calico and tortie(tortoiseshell) cats, and for what I think is good reason. First, they are always female(with the exception of some males, which are genetic abnormalities and very rare). I have found female cats to be much better hunters, more independent, and honestly just smarter. They have a street sense about them, one that makes them excellent night hunters(I might also add that cats spayed a little later, around a year old, seem to also have this). Males tend to just be some kind of dopey through, more reliant on people, and seem to want the company of another cat.
Second, what are called "Tortitudes". And I kid you not, this is a thing.
Torties and calicos have a very special genetic code, one which makes only females able to have the coat color(since females have the XX chromosome, while males have XY). And many tortie and calico owners swear by the fact that they are different from those cats without the special coat.
First, they tend to dislike other animals but adore humans. Obviously some get along with other animals, but from almost every tortie or calico owner I've talked to, they despise the company of other animals. Some, however, will hang with other torties and calicos, which I find so funny.
But, when it comes to humans, they are extremely lovey, enjoy being petted, soak up attention, and just wanna be the center of you life.
HOWEVER, they seem to turn dark in the blink of an eyes, and simply say no. I wanna play now, or just simply leave me alone. They then stalk off, to come back a while later.
You are probably saying that your non-tortie or calico does the same thing, but those who have one totally get what I am saying.
It is different.
So yeah, bye for real this time!
