The horse people don't do relationships like other tribes or towns.

Instead of standard marriage, any full member of the tribe can sleep with any other full member.

Tribe members have favorites, like regular couples who often only sleep with each other and have children.

There aren't standard courtship rituals or rules. Favorites usually just occupy the same hut and give gifts on the tribes holidays and agree to copulation and raising children.

New adults from outside the tribe don't have this privilege yet. Any foreign adult women are placed with a dominion, a adult male tribe member. Once the new woman has birthed her dominions child,  she will be banded and become a full member, which means she can finally own horses and pick her own partners
