The sun had set by the time she left. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying. She didn't understand why this happened. What made him think that by doing this, that it would change the outcome of the tournament? All of it made no sense at all.

"What do I do now?"

The girl's voice was horse and dry from sobbing. She needed something to drink to cure her problem, but her mind wasn't on her dry throat, it was on her brother's last request before falling into his coma.

"You must find Equulues' partner Emily. You have to find Pegasus."

"I don't understand brother! What are you asking of me?!"

Emily screamed, startling those who were passing by. She was lost. Everything she once knew changed in just one evening. Only hours ago, she was laughing and cheering her older brother, Drake, on as he battled in the first tournament her hometown of Ketchum, Idaho Had. Everyone was so excited that Beyblading was coming to their small town.

"Young lady... are you alright?"

Emily snapped out of her thoughts and looked to see that a couple was looking at her with great concern. She was too loud and made it too obvious that there was something wrong with her.

"I-I'm fine. Sorry to have worried you."

"Are you sure? We can call someone for you if you want. Your mother or father perhaps?"

Emily froze up. Her brother was the only one she had left. Her mother dead when she was young, and her father is never home. Drake really was the only person she had left.

"Sorry, but there's no one to call madam. It's just me until my father comes home. But thank you for your concern, and I'm sorry for worrying you."

After apologizing once more, Emily made her way home, leaving the couple in complete shock and not knowing what to do. It was almost humorous, the look on their faces. Emily needed a good laugh after the day she had. As she continued her way home the streetlights lit street. Her thoughts still on what Drake had told her. She still had no idea what he met.

"Find Equulues' partner? Pegasus?"

Emily suddenly stopped once more under a streetlight. She looked down at the multi-colored blue Bey that had a touch of white mixed into it. She has never seen a Bey like it. Its color is unique. Unlike most Beys, who are usually one color, Equulues has a mixture of different blues and wisps of white. It was this that made Emily love the Bey so much. As Emily looked down at her new Bey, a light neigh echoed in her head. Tears formed in her eyes, because she finally, somewhat understood.

"I think I understand Equulues. You need to find your partner. That's what Drake was going to do, but now it's up to me..." wiping the tears from her eyes and a smile on her face, Emily gripped Equulues tightly in her hand and looked up at the starry sky. For the first time in a long time she saw the sky for what it was.... beautiful and full of stars. She couldn't remember the last time she really looked up and recognized how beautiful it really was.

"I'll do my best Drake. I promise, I'll find Pegasus and do what needs to be done."
