As the Sun began to set, Van Helsing along with Luz and her friends began making their way to the Titan's Knee. On the way there, eyes were locked on the Golden Guard. At this point, Hunter spoke up.

Hunter: You don't need to keep watching me. We're on the same side.

Eda: The enemy of my enemy doesn't always mean we're friends.

Van Helsing: Now is not the time, Miss Clawthorne.

Eda: I'm just trying to....

Van Helsing: I have battled Dracula alongside many allies. Many of whom have fallen to Dracula's evil because he prey upon the weaknesses of men. If we are to destroy Dracula once and for all, we must remain united.

Luz: Professor Van Helsing is right. Right now, Dracula is the bigger threat.

With that, Van Helsing and his allies waited until Belos launched his attack on the Blight Manor. After some time, a signal flare was shot into the sky.

Hunter: That's the signal. The Emperor has launched his attack.

As Hunter said that, Van Helsing looked at the Sun. By then, Dracula would rise from his tomb at any moment. And once he did, Dracula would no doubt find out about the attack on the Blight Manor from Odalia or any of the other servants Dracula has placed within the Blight Manor. With all that considered, Van Helsing knew that time was short.

Van Helsing: We must move quickly.

With that, Van Helsing and the group moved deeper into the Titan's Knee. Meanwhile within Dracula's castle, Dracula rises from his tomb. As Renfield bowed before Dracula, the Vampire Lord closed his eyes. He could hear whispers in his head, speaking of the attack on the Blight Manor.

Renfield: Master?

Dracula: The Blight Manor is under siege by Emperor Belos. This...this is an unusual move from him. We have kept ourselves in the shadows, far from the Emperor's gaze. How could he know unless....

As Dracula pondered this latest attack, he picked up a familiar scent. It didn't take long before Dracula pieced it together.

Dracula: Van Helsing is here. And he has brought allies. They are coming.

Renfield: What shall we do, Master?

As Renfield said this, Dracula knew exactly what he planned to do. Meanwhile, Van Helsing and the others navigated through the ice caves in search for Dracula's castle. As they did, everyone felt a grave chill running through their spines.

King: This place is cold.....well....colder than usual....

Gus: This place is giving me the creeps.....

Suddenly, whispers were heard. Van Helsing prepares a crucifix as mist began building around the group. Soon enough, a voice was heard.

???(Voice): I must admit, I underestimated you, Van Helsing.

Van Helsing: Your overconfidence has always been your greatest weakness, Count Dracula.

Laughter echoed across the caves as everyone grouped up. Luz felt a cold chill running up her spine. Amity glanced over to Luz, deeply concerned for her girlfriend.

Dracula(Voice): How odd. I have bitten you, yet you remain a Human.

Luz: My friends wouldn't allow me to turn into a monster!

Dracula(Voice): Your bluster hides a great fear in you, Luz Noceda. Despite your need to help others, you yourself feel isolated in a world that is not yours. You....are an outcast.....

Van Helsing: Your wicked words will not tempt this one, Count! This girl's will is stronger than you realize!

Dracula(Voice): Even the strongest wills can be broken. How many times, Van Helsing has the strength of men failed? How many men have fallen to their own weaknesses? Humanity is one miserable pile of secrets after another.

Luz: Keep talking, Dracula! We'll find you and we'll stop you!

Dracula(Voice): Despite your clever ruse, my power is beyond yours. Even now, the strange magic that runs deep within this world empowers me in ways that even I could not have foreseen. Even now, the weapons you wield have become nothing more than a minor nuisance.

Van Helsing could see what Dracula was attempting to do. He was trying to sew fear and doubt within Luz and the others.

Van Helsing: Whatever powers you have, they will not save you. I know not what strength I have left in me. But I promise you this, Count Dracula. In the name of God and all that is Holy, I shall destroy you and see to it that you no longer terrorize the world!

Dracula(Voice): I see your faith remains unshaken as ever, Van Helsing. Despite knowing what you face, you would gladly charge into the pits of Hell. But do your companions feel the same way?

Luz: We won't let the Boiling Isles fall to you! You're going down!

Dracula(Voice): We shall see. Seek me if you dare. I await you.

As Dracula said that, Van Helsing tightly gripped his crucifix and prayed to himself.

Van Helsing: Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

With that, Van Helsing guides the rest of the group through the ice caves. Soon enough, they made their way to the ancient castle where Dracula was. Van Helsing knew that not only was Dracula waiting for him, but that he would be stronger than ever. Despite this, Van Helsing would not give up until he destroyed Dracula once and for all.
